1.Research progress of assessment tools for acute psychological distress in ICU patients
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2022;38(26):2076-2081
Critical illness often leads to acute pain and mental illness in ICU patients after leaving hospital, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients. Therefore, medical staff should evaluate the psychological distress of ICU patients during hospitalization. In this study, we reviewed the developed acute psychological distress assessment tools for ICU patients, refined the main content, application scope and application status of screening tools, and analyzed their respective characteristics and shortcomings. The objective is to provide empirical reference for the development of acute psychological distress assessment tools for ICU patients in China and the development of scientific, reasonable and targeted interventions for medical staff in the future.

Objective To determine the antimicrobial effects of carboxymethyl chitosan zinc (CMC-Zn +) and CMC-Zn +-peptide (CMC-Zn +-P) on four kinds of periodontal pathogens. Methods Dilution method was used to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) of CMC-Zn + for Porphyromonas gingivalis(Pg),Actinobacillusactinomycetemcomitans(Aa),Prevotella intermedia(Pi) and Actinomyces viscosus(Av).The antimicrobial characters of CMC-Zn+ and CMC-Zn+-P on these four kinds of pathogens were evaluated by disk diffusion method. Results The MIC of CMC-Zn+ for Pg,Aa,Pi and Av was 0.312 5%,0.156 25%,0.156 25% and 0.078 125% respectively.Significant antimicrobial effects were improved along with the increased concentration of CMC-Zn+ and CMC-Zn+-P(P<0.01),while the best antimicrobial concentrations of both CMC-Zn+ and CMC-Zn+-P were 5%.The antimicrobial effect of CMC-Zn+-P was better than that of CMC-Zn+ on the same kind of periodontal pathogen(P<0.01).CMC-Zn+-P showed different antimicrobial effects on the four periodontal pathogens(Av>Aa>Pi or Av>Aa>Pg,P<0.01).Conclusions CMC-Zn + and CMC-Zn +-P have inhibition effect on Pg,Aa,Pi and Av,and the best antibacterial concentration was 5%.The CMC-Zn+-P has better antibacterial effect than CMC-Zn+ on Pg,Aa,Pi and Av.

The sacrum is a common site of stress injury. The occurrence of pressure ulcers not only leads to the aggravation of the patient′s condition, the prolongation of hospital stay, the increase of medical costs, the decline of life quality, but also aggravates the burden of society, family and medical staff. Early reasonable and effective application of sacral dressing can prevent the occurrence of pressure injury. In this study, the characteristics and effectiveness of different types of sacral dressings were reviewed by reviewing relevant literatures at home and abroad and summarizing the existing relevant studies, so as to provide guidance for clinical application.

The incidence of hearing loss in neonates is relatively high, and auditory brainstem response screening is an important method for clinical hearing examination of neonates, which has been widely used in clinical practice in neonates. There are many influencing factors in auditory brainstem response screening. How to identify and take corresponding intervention measures is of great significance to reduce the false positive rate of neonatal hearing screening. Through literature review, this study summarizes factors affecting the initial screening of auditory brainstem response, including neonatal factors and test factors. Intervention measures mainly include reducing neonatal skin impedance value, promoting neonates to enter a natural sleep state, selection of test time, cleaning of ear canal and other measures, so as to provide guidance for neonatal auditory brainstem response screening.

Objective:To explore the effect of risk assessment and follow-up management combined with early ultrasound intervention on reducing perioperative pressure ulcer in infants. Methods:A total of 469 perioperative infants and young children admitted to Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University from June 2019 to June 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into observation group ( n=243) and control group ( n=226) by random number table. Children in the control group were treated with routine care for preventing pressure ulcers. Children in the observation group were treated with risk assessment and follow-up management combined with ultrasound on the basis of the control group. The incidence of pressure ulcers was compared between the two groups at 3 and 7 days after surgery. Results:The incidence of pressure ulcers in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group at 3 days and 7 days after operation, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . It could be seen that the severity of pressure injury in the observation group was lower than that in the control group. Conclusions:Risk assessment and follow-up management combined with ultrasound in early intervention can significantly reduce the risk of pressure ulcers in infants and young children during the perioperative period, which is worthy of promotion and application.
