Objective To determine the relationships among the balance between nurse's work and family,the nursing practice environment and demission intention.Methods A total of 351 nurses were recruited from 5 hospitals in Zhengzhou by convenience sampling method.They were investigated using the Questionnaires for balance between nurse's work and family,the nursing practice environment and demission intention.Results The mean scores of the balance between nurse's work and family,the nursing practice environment and demission intention was (3.09±0.46),(2.86±0.48),(2.51 ±0.57).The predictors of demission intention of nurses were rational allocation of resources,age,work disturbs family,and family promotes work.Conclusions The levels of the balance between nurse's work and family,the nursing practice environment and demission intention are all in the medium.The balance between nurse's work and family and the nursing practice environment have direct positive influence on demission intention.

OBJECTIVE: To seek the bionic material myocardial extracellular matrix in the myocardial tissue engineering for the cultured myocardial cells and to provide a reliable scaffold.METHODS: A computer-based online search of CNKI and PubMed database to search articles published between January 1996 and August 2007 on scaffold material of tissue engineering.RESULTS: Natural biological scaffold materials with good biocompatibility and mechanical properties are ideal choice in the cardiac tissue engineering rapid prototyping technology. Natural biological materials such as collagen, chitosan have poor mechanical properties and plasticity, but good biocompatibility, which can be used for rapid prototyping of cardiac stents. The scaffolds which are prepared by the technology such as three-dimensional printing, laser sintering, three-dimensional pressing,selective laser sintering rapid prototyping technology on have the advantages such as high porosity, high surface area volume ratio,completely transparent among the holes, controllable macro-shape, porosity, and independent control of aperture.CONCLUSION: Through the use of dispersion/accumulation forming principle, surface modification of traditional biological materials in cardiac tissue engineering using computers and other high-tech nano-polymer technology is expected to provide ideal myocardial scaffolds.

Objective To establish the quality standard of Catharsis Tea. Methods Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, Scutellariae Radix and Aurantii Fructus were identified by thin-layer chromatography (TLC). HPLC method was established for the determination of emodin and rhein, performed on SunFire C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm), with methanol-0.1%H3PO4 (85∶15) as the mobile phase at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min, column temperature at 30 ℃, and detection wavelength of 254 nm. Results The TLC was exclusive. Within the range of 0.448-1.344 μg, emodin presented a fine linear relationship, r =0.999 7. Within the range of 0.011-0.077 μg, rhein presented a fine linear relationship, r=0.999 8. The recovery of rhein and emodin was 98.52% and 97.53% with RSD of 1.02% and 1.15% (n=6) respectively.Conclusion The methods are reliable, accurate, reproducible, and can be used for the quality control of Catharsis Tea.

Objective To explore the relationship among nurses′perceptions of patient safety culture, nursing practice environment and the report barrier of nursing adverse event. Methods Totally 513 registered nurses from six hospitals in Zhengzhou were investigated with Patient Safety Culture Assessing Scale, Work Environment Questionnaire and Report Barriers Questionnaire. Results The mean scores of nurses′perceptions of patient safety culture, nursing practice environment and report barriers of nursing adverse events were (3.85±0.55), (3.84±0.53) and (2.47±0.55). The nurses′perceptions of patient safety culture were positively correlated to nursing practice environment (r=0.393,P<0.01), negatively correlated to report barriers of nursing adverse events (r=-0.372,P<0.01). The influencing factors of nurses′perceptions of patient safety culture were colleague relationship, punitive culture, allocation of medical resources, marital status, quality control, significance of report, gender and education, which could explain 33.8 percent for the variances. Conclusions The level of nurses′perceptions of patient safety culture is higher than the average level. The nursing managers should build supportive nursing practice environment and the non-punitive reporting system of nursing adverse events. Cultivate the beliefs and attitudes of nursing safety and focus on the impact of occupational stress to patient safety in order to enhance safety nursing.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of multiple-slice spiral CT (MSCT) in identifying apical hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (AHCM) with giant negative T wave.Methods Sixteen patients with AHCM and giant negative T wave (AHCM group) underwent MSCT,electrocardiogram,echocardiography,coronary angiography and left ventriculography.Thirty patients without myocardial hypertrophy were enrolled as control group.Measurement results of two groups were compared.Results MSCT confirmed all patients with AHCM,but echocardiography missed 10 patients.In the end of diastole phase,left ventricular apical thickness (LVA) was (21.3 ± 3.6) mm and LVA/left ventricular posterior wall thickness (LVPW) was 2.2 ± 0.4 in AHCM group,which was (8.5 ± 1.6) mm and 0.9 ± 0.2 in control group.The level of LVA and LVA/LVPW in AHCM group were significantly higher than those in control group (P ＜0.01).Conclusion MSCT is a accurately diagnostic modality for AHCM with giant negative T wave,and the cardiac anatomy,function and coronary artery are also assessed simultaneously.

AIM:To study the effects and mechanisms of ethanol on chloride channels in poorly differentiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma CNE-2Z cells.METHODS:The effect of ethanol on the cell growth was analyzed by MTT as-say.The technique of whole-cell patch-clamp was used to detect the chloride current .The characteristics of the chloride current were analyzed by using the chloride channel blockers .The siRNA technique was used to analyze the molecular basis of the ethanol-sensitive chloride channels .RESULTS: Under isotonic conditions , the background current was weak and stable.Ethanol at concentrations of 0.17~170 mmol/L activated a chloride current in a concentration-dependent manner (an inverted U-shape), with a maximum effect at the concentration of 17 mmol/L.The currents showed obviously outward rectification and were susceptible to extracellular hypertonicity and the chloride channel blocker , 5-nitro-2-(3-phenylpropyl-amino) benzoic acid ( NPPB) .ClC-3 siRNA obviously decreased the currents activated by ethanol .CONCLUSION:Ex-tracellular ethanol induces chloride currents through activating the ClC-3 chloride channels .

Objective At present, the risk factors for cognitive impairment in epilepsy patients are not quite clear.This study was to explore the impacts of the clinical features, emotional health and quality of life (QOL) on the cognitive function of the adult patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI).Methods Using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) and Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) scales, we evaluated the cognitive functions of the 109 adult epileptics of the outpatient clinic of neurology in Jinling Hospital.We assessed their emotional health with Hamilton Depression Scale-24 (HAMD-24), estimated their QOL with Quality Of Life in Epilepsy-31 (QOLIE-31), and collected their baseline clinical data by questionnaire survey.Results There were 67 cases of MCI (61.5%) among the 109 patients.The residential area was the strongest predictor of MCI in the adult epileptics (OR=0.226, 95% CI: 0.082-0.627).Among other risk factors of post-epileptic MCI were the total scores of HAMD-24 (OR=0.770, 95% CI: 0.644-0.921) and QOLIE-31 (OR=0.712, 95% CI: 0.575-0.880), QOL (OR=1.070, 95% CI: 1.015-1.128), cognitive function (OR=1.120, 95% CI: 1.043-1.203), and social function (OR=1.103, 95% CI: 1.035-1.175).Conclusion The incidence of MCI is high in adult patients with epilepsy.The development and progression of post-epileptic MCI can be delayed by more emphasis on the evaluation of cognitive function, emotional health, and quality of life.

Objective To evaluate the clinical application of regulating bone removal ratio in dual-energy cerebral subtraction angiography.Methods A total of 45 patients who underwent two phases dual-energy CT angiography (CTA) were recruited and divided into several groups by the value of bone removal ratio,as follows: group A (Ratio=1.6), group B (Ratio=1.7), group C (Ratio=1.8) and group D (Ratio=1.9,default), as well as group E (100kV Neuro-DSA).The image quality of dual-energy CTA was evaluated by double blind method according to bone suppression and integrity of the vessel lumen (1-5 points, 1=poor, 5=excellent, 3-5=satisfactory).The bone removal ratio dependence of the image quality was analyzed using the self-control method.Moreover,the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR),contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) and image scores were compared with the Neuro-DSA subtraction among these groups.Results The overall satisfaction of basis cranii images that were executed by dual-energy CTA with different bone removal ratios was listed as below: group A 73.33%, group B 91.11%, group C 78.52%, group D 70.37%.The satisfaction of siphon segment and petrous segment reached the maximum when the value of ratio was 1.7,and with significantly difference (P<0.05).The SNR and CNR were not significantly different among group B, group D, and group E (P>0.05).Conclusion With optimal bone removal ratio,the single enhanced dual-energy subtraction image quality with flash dual-source CT is consistent well with that of conventional 100 kV Neuro-DSA subtraction.Thus,this method is recommended in clinical emergency cerebrovascular examination for the improved image quality,which can compensate the shortage of vascular defect in basis cranill.

ObjectiveTo explore the relation of heart rate variability (HRV) in neonatal asphyxia with myocardial injury.MethodsContinuous electrocardiographic monitoring by 24-hour Holter recordings was performed in 53 neonates with asphyxia and 40 healthy newborn.The difference of HRV with sinus rhythm was analyzed.Time-domain indexs included standard deviation of R-R intervals (SDNN) ; standard deviation of all mean 5-minute R-R intervals (SDANN) ;standard deviation of all R-R intervals for all 5-minute segments of 24 hours (SDNNindex ) ;root mean squared successive difference (rMSSD) ;percent of NN50 in the total number R-R intervals ( PNN50 ).Results( 1 ) Maximum heart rate,minimum heart rate and average heart rate of 24-hour Holter in healthy newborn were faster than those in newborn with neonatal asphyxia ( P ＜ 0.05 ).And the heart rate was faster in newborn with mild neonatal asphyxia than that in newborn with serious neonatal asphyxia ( P ＜ 0.05 ).(2) SDNN,SDANN of HRV index analysis showed significantly difference between healthy newborn and asphyxia newhom ( P ＜ 0.05 ).There were no difference of SDNN,SDANN,SDNNindex,rMSSD and PNN50 between mild and serious neonatal asphyxia (P ＞ 0.05 ).No significant differences of SDNNindex,rMSSD and PNN50 were found among three groups.ConclusionMyocardial injury caused by neonatal asphyxia can lead to damage of cardiac autonomic nevous and affect heart rate changes.The degree of myocardial injury is related to the degree of neonatal asphyxia.
