Objective To learn the current neglected situation and its impact factors on rural children in two provinces in Western China.Methods The investigation was conducted by using multistage stratified cluster sampling method in some parts of the Shaanxi province and the city of Chongqing.Results 1488 subjects,aged from 0 to 6,were recruited in the present study.Results showed that the total prevalence rates of neglected rural children in the two research sites were 31.59％ and 48.32 respectively.No significant difference was found on the prevalence of neglected for boys and girls ( x2 =0.86,U=1.51,P ＞ 0.05 ).The degrees of negligence in the older children showed a significant increase than in the younger children (x2 =13.36,F=33.45,P＜ 0.05 ).The prevalence and degree of negligence in families with three generations were lower than that of a single-parent families and remarried families (H=10.03,F=2.83,P＜0.05).The one-child-families were significantly lower than multiple children families,both in terms of prevalence and degree of negligence.Our data demonstrated the degrees of negligence in children whose parents were away from home,were higher than the children whose parents stayed with them ( x2=30.30,U=6.76,P＜0.05).The degree of negligence in Shaanxi was lower than that in Chongqing (x2=9.42,U=8.40,P＜0.05).Based on multivariate non-conditional logistic regression analysis,the determinants of stunting among the stranded children were as follows:parents were away from home (OR=1.54,95％ CI:1.20-1.97) ;structure of the family (OR=1.38,95％ CI:1.16-1.65) ; father' s occupation (OR=0.87,95％ CI:0.78-0.97) ; schooling of the children' s mother (OR=1.27,95％CI:1.07-1.52) ; relationship between children and their fathers (OR =1.43,95％ CI:1.07-1.91 ) etc.Conclusion The situation of negligence in children living in the rural areas,were serious in Shaanxi and Chongqing provinces,which called for the strengthening on the publicity and education of the issue.School and the society should also pay more attention to this problem.

Objective To explore the continuing nursing care effect on anticoagulation therapy after heart valve replacement patients. Methods A total of 153 patients after heart valve replacement between September 2012 to August 2013 were randomly divided into the control group (77 cases) and intervention group (76 cases) by convenient drawing method. All patients in two groups during hospitalization received regular hospital health education and discharge education, and the patients of control group complete the telephone follow-up in 1 week after discharge, while the patients of intervention group received telephone follow-up ward visit, lectures for group and individual explanation at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year after discharge. 1 year later, the evaluation of patients′ medical compliance and anticoagulation effect were carried out between two groups. Results 1 year later, the recognition of anticoagulation therapy among intervention group patients obtained 89. 04%, part of recognition 9. 59%, far from recognition 1. 37%, better than 70. 27%, 20. 27%, 9. 46% of the control group (χ2 =8. 847, P =0. 012 ); the complete, part and none medication compliance of intervention group were 97. 26%, 1. 37% and 1. 37 better than 86. 49%, 10. 81%, 2. 70% of the control group;return visit on time was 97. 26% in the intervention group while 87. 84% in the control group (χ2 =6. 134, 4. 713;P<0. 05); 87. 67% patients achieved INR standard in the intervention group comparing with 70. 27% in the control group,the complication of anticoagulant therapy dramatically decreased to 6. 85%, lower than 18. 92% of the control group (χ2 =6. 686, 4. 757;P<0. 05). Conclusions Continuing nursing care can improve patient′s cognition and medication compliance of the anticoagulation therapy after heart valve replacement, improve the INR success rate, and reduce the anticoagulant therapy related complications.

OBJECTIVETo compare the difference in the manual measurement of Fengshi (GB 31) between the standing position and the supine position so as to determine the location.

METHODSA total of 197 volunteers were included in the manual measurement of Fengshi (GB 31) at the standing position and 92 volunteers at the supine position. The differences were compared between the two measurements.

RESULTSThe results in the manual measurement at the standing position showed that the distance was (39.27±3.83) cm from the greater trochanter of femur to the popliteal transverse crease [(39.96±4.21) cm in males, (38.82±3.49) cm in females, < 0.05]. The distance was (19.08±2.97) cm from the tip of the middle finger to the popliteal transverse crease [(18.96±3.50) cm in males, (19.16±2.58) cm in females]. After calculating according to the formula of proportional bone measurement, Fengshi (GB 31) was located (9.28±1.44) above the popliteal transverse crease [(9.07±1.64) in males, (9.42±1.29) in females]. The results in the manual measurement at the supine position showed that the distance was (41.89±3.88) cm from the greater trochanter of femur to the popliteal transverse crease [(42.36±3.88) cm in males, (41.67±3.89) cm in females]. The distance was (23.01±3.37) cm from the tip of the middle finger to the popliteal transverse crease [(22.50±3.73) cm in males, (23.25±3.20) cm in females]. After calculated according to the formula of proportional bone measurement, Fengshi (GB 31) was located (10.51±1.69) above the popliteal transverse crease [(10.16±1.75) in males, (10.67±1.63) in females].

CONCLUSIONFengshi (GB 31) is located on the femoral region, in the depression under the tip of the middle finger at the standing position. The simple localization of the acupoint at the supine position: at the supine, the palm touches the middle of the lateral side of the thigh, about 1 directly below the depression under the tip of the middle finger. The location of Fengshi (GB 31) in female is slightly upper than male.
