Lung ultrasound(LUS)has gained increasing popularity among intensivists in recent dec-ades.Although limited by the presence of air,LUS has proved to be useful in the evaluation of a number of different acute and chronic conditions,such as pneumonia,pneumothorax,acute lung injury,alveolar-intersti-tial syndrome,pleural effusion,etc,and showed a relatively higher sensitivity,specificity and diagnostic accu-racy compared to routine radiographic imaging.It is also critical in improving the safety of pleural interven-tional procedures.The most common signs for diagnosing and differential diagnosing include the pleural line, lung sliding,the A-line,the quad sign,the sinusoid sign,the fractal,and tissue-like sign,the B-line,lung rock-ets,abolished lung sliding with the barcode sign,the lung point,the dynamic air bronchogram,etc.The BLUE-protocol allows differential diagnosis of acute respiratory failure.LUS is a feasible technique that can be used routinely and integrated into clinical practice in the fields of intensive care,emergency care,respirato-ry and general medicine.

This article try to illustrate the relationship of self value and personality by paraphrasing these two concepts,and deduce the effects of self value to personality from this.This article also point out the questions how to direct and help university students to set proper self value and then modle healthy personality.It bring forward supposition of the resolvement of the questions.On the base of the demonstrative research we carry out a validative research.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the perception of surgeon to ADR reporting system. METHODS: Postal questionnaire was used for survey among 300 surgeons in November 2009. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: Surgeons mastered a little knowledge about ADR reporting system. More than 50% of surgeons took one-side view on national ADR monitoring with ADR reporting rate of 42.8%. 57.2% of surgeons hadn’t received relevant training. It is suggested that surgeons receive training and education about the knowledge of ADR reporting.

Objective To investigate the correlation between shear wave velocity and tissue fibrosis score in thyroid space-occupying lesions.Methods The shear wave velocity of 55 thyroid space-occupying lesions was examined by virtual touch tissue quantification.The shear wave velocity of different solid parts of the lesions was detected for several times and 15 data were genarated.Then maximum and minimum value were removed.The maximum (Vmax),minimum (Vmin),mean (Vm) of shear wave velocity were calculated with the rest of 13 data.Meantime the fibrosis degree of these pathological lesions were scored by using optical micorscope.The maximum (Fmax),minimum (Fmin) and mean (Fm) fibrosis degree were calculated with these scores.Then the difference between Fmax,Fmin and Fm value of benign lesions and malignant lesions was analyzed.The linear correlation between Fmax and Vmax,Fmin and Vmin,Fm and Vm was also analysed.Results In the 55 lesions,30 lesions were benign and the rest was malignant.The Fmax,Fmin,Fm of benign lesions were 1.38 ± 1.44,0.68 ± 0.25,0.91 ± 0.73 respectively; the corresponding value of malignant lesions were 5.00 ± 1.91,3.52 ± 1.82,4.08 ± 1.75 respectively.There was significant difference between the benign group and malignant group (t test,P ＜0.01).There were linear correlation between Fmax and Vmax,Fmin and Vmin,Fm and Vm and the Pearson correlation coefficients were 0.504,0.284,0.453 respectively.Conclusions The shear wave velocity and fibrosis degree of thyroid lesions has linear relationship.The heavier the degree of fibrosis is,the faster the shear wave velocity would be.

Objective: To observe the effect of Yufeng Capsule (Radix Astragali, Radix Salviae Mitiorrhizae, Rhizoma Gastrodiae, etc) on the moisture content, activity of Na +,K + AT Pase and Ca 2+ ATPase in brain tissue of rat with ischemia reperfusion.Methods:the model with ischemia reperfusion was established by line embolism method, the moisture content and activity of ATPase in brain tissue of model rat were determined respectively at ischemia 2h reperfusion 1h and ischemia 2h reperfusion 24h.Results:Yufeng Capsule could significantly decrease moisture content of rats brain, increase the activity of Na +,K + ATPase and Ca 2+ ATPase.Conclusion:Yufeng Capsule could prevent and treat the cerebral edema caused by ischemia reperfusion, its mechanism may be related to improving cytomembrane ionic transport after ischemia reperfusion.

Background Nomal binocular vision is achieved through accommodation and vergence.Anisometropia is associated with abnormal visual development,but its impact on accommodation and vergence is unknown.This study is helpful to make a reaonable correction plan for anisometropia.Objective This clinical study was to examine the binocular vision function in myopic anisometropia and evaluate the influence of myopic anisometropia on binocular vision function.Methods Seventy subjects with myopic anisometropia ≥ 1.0 D were recruited in Tianjin Eye Hospital and Tianjin Vocational Institute from 2006 to 2009.The subjects were assigned to the low anisometropia group with the 1.0 D ≤ spherical equivalent difference ＜ 2.5 D and the moderate and high anisometropia group with spherical equivalent difference ≥2.5D,and other 35 individuals with spherical equivalent difference ＜ 1.0 D were enrolled as the without anisometropia group.Binocular vision function parameters were examined in all the individuals,including comprehensive refractometer to check the diopter,Worth 4 dot to examine the binocular vision function,different distance of vertical fusional amplitudes,accommodative convergence/accommodation (AC/A) and stereoscopic vision.Written informed consent was obtained from each subject prior to the study.Results After anisometropia was completely corrected,the normal rate of Worth 4 dot examination was 94.3％,80.0％ and 60.0％ in the without anisometropia group,low anisometropia group,moderate and high anisometropia group,respectively,showing a statistical difference among groups (x2 =12.137,P＜0.05),and the normal rate of 4 dot was less,and that of 5 dot was higher in the moderate and high anisometropia group compared with the without anisometropia group and low anisometropia group (P＜0.05).No significant difference was found in the normal rate for phoria of distance among the three groups (x2 =4.489,P=0.344).The normal rate for near phoria of distance was 65.7％,42.9％ and 37.1％ in the without anisometropia group,low anisometropia group,moderate and high anisometropia group,respectively,with significant difference among them (x2 =6.045,P＜0.05).The normal rate of stereopsis was 91.4％,77.1％ and 54.3％ in the without anisometropia group,low anisometropia group,moderate and high anisometropia group,respectively,which was statistically different among groups (x2 =12.863,P =0.002),and that in the moderate and high anisometropia group was significant declined in comparison with the without anisometropia group (x2 =12.208,P ＜ 0.05).The difference of distance phoria,AC/A,negative relative accommodation (NRA),positive relative accommodation (PRA),accommodation amplitude and binocular accommodative lag were statistically different among groups (P＞0.05).Conclusions The normal rate of the stereopsis,Worth 4 dot and the phoria of near distance are decreased with the increase of anisometropia,but other ocular motor parameters are normal in anisometropic subject.

There are many problems existing in humanities and social science courses in education and teaching of medical colleges and universities.Changing concepts of education,adjusting the curriculum,improving teaching methods and improving the quality of teachers are effective measures in medical colleges to strengthen the humanities and social science courses.We have made a preliminary exploration on teaching practice for humanistic education and professional education.

Objective To detect the main nutritional components of novel jujube beverage from Laoling Zizyphus Jujuba cv.Jinsixiaozao.Methods Free monosaccharides in novel jujube juice were determined by the HPLC-RID method while water-soluble polysaccharides were analyzed by UV spectrophotometric method with the phenol-sulfuric acid derivatization.Amino acid and mineral contents were obtained by the automatic amino acid analyzer and atomic absorption photometric methods, respectively.The quantification of total phenolic and flavonoids was accomplished by the UV spectrophotometric method after the respective complexation of the Folin-Ciocalteu reagent and aluminum nitrate.The contents of rutin and cyclic nucleotides were determined by the HPLC-UV method.Results The average contents of sucrose, glucose, fructose and polysaccharides in novel jujube juice were 3.85, 32.5,27.3 and 3.6 mg/mL, respectively.The total amino acid average content was 269.7 μg/mL.The mineral average contents of Ca, Fe, Mg, Zn, Mn, Cr, and Cu were 35.1,0.85, 55.8, 0.85, 0.44, 0.41, 0.21μg/mL, respectively.The novel jujube juice contained average 1.34μg/mL rutin equivalents of total phenolics and average 157.3 μg/mL gallic acid equivalents of total flavonoids.Finally, the average amounts of rutin, cAMP and cGMP were 7.15, 19.17 , and 8.11 μg/mL, respectively.Conclusion The newly developed jujube juice is worthwhile further marketing development attributed to its rich nutritional components and healthy values .

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of laparoscopic intrafascial hysterectomy.Methods:Thirty women underwent laparoscopic intrafascial hysterectomy(GroupⅠ),29 women underwent open intrafascial hysterectomy(GroupⅡ) and 30 underwent abdominal hysterectomy(Group Ⅲ) were compared.The operating time,blood loss,postoperative pain,postoperative morbidity,time to first flatus and emiction were analyzed.Results:The blood loss was in Group I(61.00?21.95)ml,respectively,it was significantly lower than those in the GroupⅡ(121.03?53.61)ml and Group Ⅲ(101.00?21.07) ml(P0.05).Conclusion:Laparoscopic intrafascial hysterectomy is truly a minimally invasive surgery,and was associated with significantly less intraoperative bleeding,shorter hospital stay with less morbidity and shorter convalescence period.This remains the obvious advantages of laparoscopic in comparison with abdominal hysterectomy.
