Objective:To investigate the effect of different schemes of intrauterine insemination (IUI) on pregnancy outcome in patients with unexplained infertility.Methods:The clinical data of 393 cases (934 cycles) with unexplained infertility patients who underwent IUI from March 2016 to August 2018 in Dalian Maternal and Child Health Hospital were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into natural cycle group (402 cycles) and promote ovulation cycle group (532 cycles). In promote ovulation cycle group, the patients were divided into clomiphene (CC) subgroup (124 cycles), letrozole (LE) subgroup (107 cycles), menotropins (HMG) subgroup (87 cycles), CC + HMG subgroup (103 cycles), LE + HMG subgroup (111 cycles). The pregnancy outcomes of each group were compared.Results:The clinical pregnancy rate and live birth rate in promote ovulation cycle group were significantly higher than those in natural cycle group: 14.10% (75/532) vs. 9.20% (37/402) and 11.28% (60/532) vs. 7.21% (29/402), and there were statistical differences ( P<0.05). There were no statistical differences in abortion rate, ectopic pregnancy rate and twin pregnancy rate between 2 groups ( P<0.05). Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome occurred in 7 cycles, all of which were in CC + HMG subgroup. The clinical pregnancy rate and live birth rate in LE subgroup, HMG subgroup, CC + HMG subgroup and LE + HMG subgroup were significantly higher than those in CC subgroup: 11.21% (12/107), 13.79% (12/87), 16.50% (17/103), 21.62% (24/111) vs. 8.06% (10/124) and 7.48% (8/107), 11.49% (10/87), 13.59% (14/103) and 20.72% (23/111) vs. 4.03% (5/124), the abortion rate was significantly lower than that in CC subgroup: 3/12, 1/12, 2/17 and 1/24 vs. 5/10; the clinical pregnancy rate and live birth rate in HMG subgroup, CC + HMG subgroup and LE + HMG subgroup were significantly higher than those in LE subgroup, the abortion rate was significantly lower than that in LE subgroup, and there were statistical differences ( P<0.05). Conclusions:When the patients with unexplained infertility are assisted by IUI, LE combined with HMG ovulation induction can achieve a better pregnancy outcome.

Objective: To investigate the effect of helper T cells (Th1 and Th2) and its important significance in judging prognosis of patients with advanced lung cancer. Methods: Interferon-? (INF-?) and interleukin-4 (IL-4) in plasma and pleural effusion were detected by enzyme-linked immunoassay in patients with advanced lung cancer, IFN-? and IL-4 reflected activity of Thl and Th2 respectively. Results: The activity of Th1 in patients with advanced lung cancer was lower than that in normal persons in peripheral blood. For non-outstanding curative effect or progressive state of illness, the activity of Thl in patients of above 1 year survival time decreased in post-treatment than in pretreatment, the activity of Th2 increased in post-treatment. Conclusion: Activity of Helper T cells ( Th1, Th2 ) could be an important marker to diagnose lung cancer and judge prognosis in patients with advanced lung cancer.

Objective To understand the knowledge,attitudes and impact factors related to voluntary counseling and testing(VCT)for HIV/AIDS among migrants in Minhang district of Shanghai.Method Using a convenience sampling strategy,74 migrants,27 key informants and 20 community service providers were selected to participate in in-depth interviews and focus group discussions.Results Most migrants were young,less educated and poorly aware of HIV prevention.Only one third of the migrants heard of VCT,but few of them knew where to seek VCT or had any personal VCT experience.Nearly half of the interviewees took a negative attitude towards those who participated in VCT service.The main factors influencing the participation in VCT service among the migrants were the knowledge of VCT,having risk behavior and perception,supportive environments and availability of HIV/VCT services.Conclusions There is an urgent need to promote extensive health education about HIV/VCT,adopt flexible and available approaches to VCT service and provide appropriate care following the HIV test among migrants.

The association between the polymorphism of SLC17A1 gene and hyperuricemia in Uyghur population in Xinjiang region was explored by Chi-square test.A total of 1 024 patients with hyperuricemia and 1 033 healthy volunteers were included.The genotype frequencies of CC,CT,and Tr in hyperuricemia and healthy controls were 24.9％,53.14％,21.96％ and 29.7％,47.52％,22.77％,respectively.There was statistical difference in SLC17A1 rs9467596 genotype frequencies between hyperuricemia cases and controls (x2 =7.492,P =0.024).CT genotype could increase the risk of hyperuricemia compared with CC genotype (OR =1.334,95％ CI 1.082-1.644).No statistical significance among the genotypes was found in age,body mass index,blood pressure,blood glucose,triglyceride,total cholesterol,High-density lipoprotein-cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein-Cholesterd,blood urea nitrogen,and Creatinine.The polymorphism of rs9467596 in SLC17A1 may be a genetic marker to assess risk of hyperuricemia among Xinjiang Uyghur population.

[ ABSTRACT] AIM: To study the autophagy of prostate cancer PC-3 cells induced by CD147 in vitro.ME-THODS:Themethod of amino acid starvation to induce autophagy was used.The expression of CD147 was detected by Western blotting.To study the functional effects of CD147 on autophagy in prostate cancer PC-3 cells, the down-regulation of CD147 expression was induced by the technique of RNAi.The conversion of autophagic marker protein LC3-I to LC3-II was determined by Western blotting.The cell death after starvation-induced autophagy was analyzed by trypan blue exclu-sion assay.RESULTS:The CD147 expression gradually increased in starvation-induced autophagy.The down-regulation of CD147 significantly increased the expression of autophagy-related protein LC3-II compared with control group.Mean-while, the cell death rates increased from (19.3 ±3.1)%and (22.3 ±3.5)%in control groups to (38.4 ±3.1)%in si-lencing the expression of CD147 in the PC-3 cells (P<0.05).CONCLUSION:CD147 inhibits starvation-induced auto-phgy and autophagy death in the prostate cancer PC-3 cells.

Objective To investigate the effect of Omaha system intervention on social psychology of the elderly,and to provide evidence for effective intervention in elderly with homebound state.Methods 218 cases with homebound conditions were divided into intervention group and control group by random digits table with each group 109 cases.The intervention group accepted intervention including health education,treatment procedures,case management,supervision of the four aspects of 1-3 times a week according to Omaha intervention system for a period of 3 months.The control group was the blank control.And Omaha evaluation form was used to evaluate social psychological and physical effect before and after the intervention.Results 3 months after the intervention,except physiology in the field of neuromusculo-skeletal function of two groups had no significant difference (t=2.03,P＞0.05),scores in the intervention group in the field of physiology (like the circulation) were higher than the control group,the difference was statistically significant [(1 1.20±2.03) vs.(8.72±1.36),P＜0.05].As for psychology (like mental health),scores of intervention group were higher than that of the control group [(12.53±1.42) vs.(8.63±1.33),t=20.12,P＜ 0.05].Conclusions Omaha system can effectively improve the quality of life of elderly with homebound state and maintain their physiological,social and psychological function.

Objectives To investigate the effect and mechanism of terbutaline sulfate on pulmonary fluid transport in pre-mature rats. Methods Pregnant rats were randomly divided into 5 groups (control group, premature group, low-dose terbutaline group, high-dose terbutaline group and dexamethasone group). Drugs were administered by gavage after rats were fertilized for 16 days and continued for 3 days. Premature rats were taken out from the 19 days pregnant rats, and mature rats were delivered on the due day. Lungs were collected, and the ratio of pulmonary wet weight to dry weight (W/D), Na+, K+-ATP ase activity and concentration of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) were measured in lungs. Results The W/D rate, Na+,K+-ATPase acti-vity and cAMP concentration in lungs had significant difference among different groups (P<0.01). The W/D rate was highest in premature group and lowest in the control group. It was lower in the high-dose terbutaline group than in the low-dose terbutaline group and the dexamethasone group (P<0.05). The Na+,K+-ATPase activity was lowest in premature group and highest in high-dose terbutaline group. It was higher in dexamethasone group, low-dose terbutaline group, and high-dose terbutaline group than in premature group, and it was higher in high-dsoe terbutaline group than in low-dose terbutaline group and dexamethasone group (P<0.05). The cAMP levle was lowest in premature group and highest in high-dose terbutaline group. It was higher in dexamethasone group, low-dose terbutaline group, high-dose terbutaline group than in premature group, and it was higher in high-dose terbutaline group than in low-dose terbutaline group and dexamethasone group (P<0.05). Conclusions Terbutaline sulfate facilitates lung fluid transport in premature rats, leading to reduce the W/D rate in terbutaline-treated group. We speculate that this effect is related to the increased cAMP level and Na+, K+-ATPase activity in lung tissue.

To investigate the effects of electro-acupuncture at Shuigou (DU26) on latency and amplitude of motor evoked potential (MEP) in rats after cerebral infarction.

Objective To construct the short hairpin RNA recombinant plasmids targeting mdr1 gene which expresses highly in ovarian cancer resistance strain SKOV3/TAXOL to silence endogenefic mdr1 gene expression and investigate the role of mdr1 gene in the development of resistant ovarian cancer. Methods The pGPU6/GFP/Neo-mdr1 were constructed by gene clone technology. The influence on proliferation and apoptosis were investigated by CCK-8 in SKOV3/TAXOL after transfected pGPU6/GFP/Neo-mdr1. Results The expression against mdr1 proteins were inhibited by pGPU6/GFP/Neo-mdr1. The cell proliferation were inhibited after transfected pGPU6/GFP/Neo-mdr1 by CCK-8. The apoptosis were observed in DAB experiments and the apoptosis rate increased. Conclusion mdr1 plays an important role in proliferation of resistant ovarian cancer and the short hairpin RNA of mdr1 can efficiently suppress mdr1 expression and enhance the apoptosis in SKOV3/ATAXOL.

Objective To study the angiogenesis in serous ovarian neoplasms. Methods Immunohistochemical method was used to examine microvessei density (MVD) and the expressions of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in 76 cases of serous ovarian neoplasm. The relationship between MVD and VEGF were investigated. Results MVD in the tissues of cystadenoma, bordline cystadenoma and cystadenocarcinoma were 7.8±2.4, 17.5±3.3 and 27.6±7.5; VEGF expressions were (16.1±3.9)%, (36.7±14.2)%, (52.3±22.8)%; the differences were significant respectively. Of cystadenocarcinoma grade 1, grade 2 and grade 3, MVD were 18.3+3.4, 24.2±3.1, and 32.3±6.4, VEGF expressions were (30.9±16.2)%, (48.0±18.4) % and (62.1±21.3) %, the differences were significant respectively. Of FIGO stage Ⅲ～Ⅳ and stage Ⅰ～Ⅱ, MVD were 28.9±4.7 and 22.0±4.7, VEGF expressions were (55.1±22.9) % and (40.18±18.0) %, the differences were significant respectively. There was significant positive correlation between VEGF expression and MVD. Conclusion Angiogenesis is very important in the development of serous ovarian neoplasms.
