1.Genetic susceptibility study on hepatitis B
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(07):-
Hepatitis B virus infection can result in different clinical outcomes which consist of self-limited infection(virus clearance),asymtomatic carrier status, chronic hepatitis B and cirrhosis. The mechanism led to individual discrepancy for outcome of hepatitis B virus infection is unknown yet.It is suspected that the outcomes of hepatitis B virus infection might be associated with the inherent factors of host. The results of association studies between genetic polymorphisms of HLA-I,Ⅱ class,TNF-? and VDR and different clinical outcome of hepatitis B virus infection in recent years are reviewed.
2.Clinical analysis of Eisenmenger syndrome during pregnancy
Chinese Journal of Perinatal Medicine 2011;14(10):603-607
Objective To investigate the outcome and the management of pregnant women with Eisenmenger syndrome during perinatal period to reduce the maternal fatality rate. Methods The clinical data of 23 pregnant women with Eisenmenger syndrome admitted into Beijing Anzhen Hospital Capital Medical University from January 1st,2001 to December 31st,2009 were retrospectively analyzed.Gestational week, primary disease of the heart, pulmonary hypertension, oxygen saturation and heart function of the patients were compared with Chi-square test or Fisher's exact test. Results (1) The gestational week of 23 patients with Eisenmenger syndrome were between 15 to 38 weeks, among which 11 cases in the midterm pregnancy and 12 in the last term pregnancy. The severity of pulmonary hypertension, heart function and pregnant outcomes have no difference in patients with differeut gestational weeks (P>0.05).(2) Ventricular septal defect (VSD) were the most common disease (65.2%,15/23) among the four primary heart diseases of the patients. The heart function of the patients with VSD decreased most severely after pregnancy, and the fatality rate of the heart function Ⅳ was up to 73.3% (11/15).The incidence of severe pulmonary hypertension was 20.0% (3/15).The decreasing of the heart function of the patients with different primary heart diseases were different (P<0.05).(3) Among the pulmonary hypertension patients, there were 7 mild cases (30.4%),12 moderate cases (52.2%) and 4 severe cases (17.4%).The severity of the pulmonary hypertension of the patients correlated to the incidence of postpartum heart failure and death (P< 0.05).The outcomes of four patients with severe pulmonary hypertension were the worst and all were reported to be dead (4/4).(4) Oxygen saturation related to the mortality of perinatal infants, incidence of premature birth and spontaneous abortion (P<0.05).As oxygen saturation decreased to the lowest level, the fatality rate of perinatal infants increased to the highest (5.3 %,1/19),so did the incidence of the premature birth (84.2%,16/19) and spontaneous abortion ( 10.5%,2/19).Conclusions The key point to increase the safety of patients with Eisenmenger syndrome during perinatal period was to strengthen monitoring, decrease the pulmonary hypertension and terminate pregnancy timely.

4.A New Method for Diagnosing Erythemato-squamous Diseases Based on Virtual Coding and Multinomial Logistic Regression Penalized via Elastic Net.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(4):757-762
Erythemato-squamous diseases are a general designation of six common skin diseases, of which the differential diagnosis is a difficult problem in dermatology. This paper presents a new method based on virtual coding for qualitative variables and multinomial logistic regression penalized via elastic net. Considering the attributes of variables, a virtual coding is applied and contributes to avoid the irrationality of calculating nominal values directly. Multinomial logistic regression model penalized via elastic net is thence used to fit the correlation between the features and classification of diseases. At last, parameter estimations can be attained through coordinate descent. This method reached accuracy rate of 98.34% +/- 0.0027% using 10-fold cross validation in the experiments. Our method attained equivalent accuracy rate compared to the results of other methods, but steps are simpler and stability is higher.

5.Effect of Gingko Flavonoids on Cardiac Function and Contents of SOD and MDA in Myocardial Tissue in Rats with Heart Failure
China Pharmacist 2014;(10):1637-1639
Objective:To explore the effect of gingko flavonoids on the content of SOD and MDA and cardiac function in the rats with heart failure. Methods:Totally 40 male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 5 groups by random number table meth-od, namely the blank group, the model group, low-dose gingko flavonoids group, high-dose gingko flavonoids group and metoprolol group. Except the blank group, all the other groups were subcutaneously injected 300 mg·kg-1 isopropyl adrenaline for two days to make the heart failure model. After that, metoprolol group was given metoprolol 20 mg·kg-1 ·d-1 , the ginkgo flavonoids group was given 250 or 500 mg·kg-1 ·d-1 ginkgo flavonoids extract, the other groups were given physiological saline with the same volume, and the treatment course was 8 weeks. After the treatment, cardiac function indices ( IVST, LVPWT, LVEDD, LVESD and LVEF) , SOD and MDA levels in cardiac muscle tissue and the pathological integral, and myocardial pathologic morphology characteristics were deter-mined. Results:LVEDD and LVESD of the two ginkgo flavonoids groups and metoprolol group were obviously improved compared with those of the model group, while LVEF, IVST and LVPWT were significantly decreased (P<0. 05), showing that the cardiac function was improved after the treatment. The levels of SOD were raised, while MDA and the pathological integral were decreased significantly in the two ginkgo flavonoids groups compared with those of the model group (P<0. 05), with a dose-dependant relationship. Conclu-sion:Ginkgo flavonoids have certain protective effect in heart failure rats, and the mechanism may be related to reducing the level of lipid peroxidation and improving the body antioxidant enzyme activity.

8.EFFECTS OF GESTATIONAL TOBACOO AND ALCOHOL EXPOSURE ON STATURE AND NEURAL DEVELOPMENT OF OFFSPRING IN MICE
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 2004;0(05):-
Objective: To investigate the effect of prenatal tobacco and alcohol exposure on stature and neural development of offspring. Methods: Female mice were exposed to tobacco smoke and alcohol drink from D6 of pregnancy to parturition. The early physical development, neurobehavioral and antioxidative functions were measured in offspring mice. Results: Compared with control, offspring subjected to prenatal exposure showed significant reduced body and organ weights as well as reduced gestational body weight gain. It also resulted in remarkable prolonged neonatal reflexes and reduced motive, coordinative and locomotor activities. Step-down and Y-maze tests revealed marked destroyed memory and learning ability. Futhermore, MDA in offspring brain cytosol and mitochondria increased significantly and the activities of SOD, GSH-Px, CAT and GST were decreased. Conclusion: Prenatal tobacco and alcohol exposures interfere with the early physical and neural development in mice, probably related to decreased antioxidative functions.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(10):1999-2003
Totally 80 rats were randomly divided into the control group, the model group, low, middle and high dose (25, 50, 100 mg x kg(-1)) scutellarin( SC) groups and the colchicine ( Col) group. Apart from the blank group, all of the remaining groups were intraperitoneally injected with 0.5 mL pig serum twice every week for consecutively 13 weeks and orally administered with the corresponding drugs since the 9th week. The blank group and the model group were orally given equal volume of normal saline once every for consecutively four weeks. After the experiment, efforts were made to detect the contents of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspertate aminotransferase (AST), albumin (ALB), total protein (TP), total bilirubin (TBIL), hyaluronic acid (HA), laminin (LN) and collagen type IV (CIV), collect liver tissues of fixed positions, observe the pathological changes through hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining, conduct the pathological grading for liver fibrosis, determine the expressions of hepatic collagen type I and III (C I, C III) and calculate their color rendering index. Compared with the model group, low, middle and high dose (25, 50, 100 mg x kg(-1)) SC groups could decrease the contents of ALT, AST, TBIL, HA, LN, CIV, increase the contents of ALB, TP in serum and reduce the contents of C I, C III in liver tissues. In conclusion, scutellarin has a certain therapeutic effect on immune liver fibrosis in rats induced by pig serum.
