Cultured human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were divided and assigned to 6 groups:normal control group, mannitol control group, high glucose group, low dose resveratrol group, medium dose resveratrol group, and high dose resveratrol group.HUVECs were pretreated with or without 30 mmol/L glucose plus various concentrations of resveratrol (0.1,1,10 μmol/L) for 16 hours and then incubated with 5.5 mmol/L glucose for 6 days. The levels of vascular cell adhesion molecule 1 (VCAM-1),monocyte chemotactic protein 1 (MCP-1),and plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (PAI-1) in the culture supernatant were measured by ELISA.NF-κB expression was detected by Western blot.Compared with normal glucose group, high glucose up-regulated the expression of NF-κB,along with the increased levels of VCAM-1,MCP-1,and PAI-1 (all P<0.05),which were still maintained at high levels even after withdrawal of high glucose.Resveratrol treatment down-regulated the expression of NF-κB and lowered the levels of VCAM-1,MCP-1,and PAI-1 (all P<0.05).These results suggest that resveratrol may decrease the secretion of VCAM-1,MCP-1,and PAI-1 and prevent high glucose memory-induced injury to endothelial cell via NF-κB pathway.

Objective To study the value of three dimensional contrast enhanced subtraction MRA (3D CES MRA) in the diagnosis of extremity musculoskeletal diseases. Methods Fifteen cases of extremity musculoskeletal diseases proved by operation and pathology were studied, including upper extremity ( n =5), lower extremity ( n =10), soft tissue and vascular lesions ( n =8), and skeletal lesions ( n =7). All examinations were performed with GE 1.5 T MRI scanner. Sagittal scout images were obtained by 2D FMPSPGR sequences. Before and after contrast enhancement, coronal 3D FSPGR sequence was performed in the same parameters within 32 seconds. The plain source images were subtracted by enhanced source images in the workstation. The subtracted images were processed by MIP technique, such method is so called 3D CES MRA. Results All lesions were demonstrated accurately by 3D CES MRA, including vascular lesions ( n =6), tumors in the soft tissue ( n =3), benign skeletal tumors ( n =1), and malignant skeletal tumors ( n =3). Compared with pathology, the diagnosing accuracy rate of 3D CES MRA was more than 90%. Conclusion 3D CES MRA is an advanced, safe, and noninvasive method in diagnosing extremity musculoskeletal diseases, further more, it can save time and resources. In general, 3D CES MRA has a great value in clinical application.

Objective To evaluate the application of operations of preserving spleen in the treatment of splenic injury. Methods Serial operations of preserving spleen were performed in 78 cases in the past 10 years. 18 treated with simple splenorrhaphy,15 with ligation of splenic artery and splenorrhaphy, 13 with partial splenectomy, and 32 treated with autoplasty of spleen. Results All the cases were cured with satisfactory followed-up results. Conclusion The operation of preserving spleen for splenic injury is safe and feasible.

Objective: To compare the effect of urapidil at different doses on blood pressure and prognosis of patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) so as to provide data evidence for its clinical use. Methods: Totally 62 patients with AIS were divided into 3 groups in a prospective study: 20 cases in high dosage group, 21 cases in middle dosage group and 21 cases in low dosage group. All the patients were treated with urapidil and urokinase, and the initial dose of urapidil was 25 mg, 15 mg and 5 mg, respectively.Systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) of the patients before and after the treatment were observed, and the US national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS), modified Rankin scale (mRS) and activity of daily living scale (ADL) were also evaluated in the follow-ups.Results: The time of blood pressure up to standard in the middle dosage group and low dosage group was longer than that in the high dosage group. At the same time, the time of blood pressure up to standard in the low dosage group was longer than that in the middle dosage group, and the difference had statistical significance (P<0.05).After the treatment, SBP and DBP at T1 in all the groups were notable lower than those at T0,and those at T2 and T3 were lower than those at T1, and the differences had statistical significance (P<0.05).After the treatment, the SBP and DBP levels in the high dosage group were lower than those in the middle dosage group and low dosage group, and those in the middle dosage group were lower than those in the low dosage group, and the differences had statistical significance (P<0.05).The NIHSS, mRS and ADL scores of the middle dosage group were lower than those of the low dosage and the high dosage group (P<0.05), and there was no significant difference between the latter two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion: With the initial dose of 15 mg, urapidil can ensure good prognosis on the premise of effective decompression.

Objective To evaluate the effect of the retina cryoautery combined with ciliary body cryoautery against neovascular glaucoma. Methods Sixty-five cases of neovascular glaucoma treated by the retina cryoautery combined with ciliary body cryoautery were prospectively analysed. Results In the follow-up examination of 7mo~4a, fifty cases were controlled from 1.30kPa to 2.80kPa, the retina cryoautery combined with ciliary body cryoautery against neovascular glaucoma had successful outcomes in 84.4%, and was prior to ciliary body cryoautery. Its complications were mainly cornea edema, conjunctiva edema, fibrinous inflammation in anterior chamber, hypotension etc. Conclusion The retina cryoautery combined with ciliary body cryoautery against neovascular glaucoma is an effective treatment.

Objective To investigate the short-term effects of glucocorticoid therapy on patients with idiopathic interstitial pneumonia using high resolution CT semi quantitative scores. Methods According to the different HRCT scores will be January 2015 -2017 year in January in our hospital for diagnosis and treatment of idiopathic interstitial pneumonia patients with 60 cases of groups: control group with HRCT score < 20%, the observation group with HRCT score more than 20%; the patients in the two groups of experimental data were recorded in detail and analyzed and discussed the high resolution CT semi quantitative score judgment of idiopathic interstitial pneumonia patients treated with glucocorticoid efficacy. Results The observation group (HRCT score≥20%) accuracy is higher than that of the control group (HRCT score<20%), the difference between groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The treatment of idiopathic interstitial pneumonia in patients with glucocorticoid selection of high resolution CT;semi quantitative score to determine significant short-term effect, HRCT score of the best critical value was 20%, the diagnostic accordance rate can obtain excellent.
