Objective: To compare the effects of deliberate hypotension and hemorrhagic hypotension on systemic and renal hemodynamics in dogs. Method: Twelve mongrel dogs were randomly divided into nitroprusside-deliberated hypotension group and hemorrhagic hypotension group. After surgical preparation, the MAP of the dogs was decreased to 8kPa either by infusing nitroprusside or by withdrawing arterial blood and was kept for 30 min. RBF, MAP, HR, CO and CVP were monitored continuously. Result: Hypotension induced by hemorrhage was associated with significant decrease in CO, SV and CVP compared with nitroprusside. There was no significant change in HR in both groups. Hemor rhage caused more decrease in RBF than nitroprusside did (59.0% vs 37.5%). In recovery period, RBF in both groups increased, but remained significantly less than baseline in hemorrhage group. Conclusion: Hemorrhage can cause more pronounced interference in hemodynamics and more decrease in RBF with a subsequent slower recovery than with nitroprusside at the same level of hypotension.

Objective:To compare the effects of induced hypotensions with sevoflurane and nitroprusside on hemodynamics in dogs. Method:Fourteen mongrel dogs were randomly divided into sevoflurane group and nitroprusside group. After experimental preparation, the MAP was decreased to 8kPa and was kept for 30min either with sevoflurane inhalation or with nitroprusside infusion. MAP, HR,CO,CVP,SV and SVR wrer monitored continuously. Result: During induced hypotension, CO in sevoflurane and nitroprusside groups decreased by 30.7% and 21.6% respectively; HR decreased significantly in sevoflurane group, but not in nitroprusside group; SVR in both groups showed reduction, but more pronounced in nitroprusside group. However, after the termination of sevoflurane or nitroprusside, MAP elevated over baseline with the significant increase of SVR,and CO remaining low. Conclusion:As compared with nitroprusside, sevoflurane has inhibitory effect on circulation, yet it is still efficient to induced hypotension.

Objective To improve knowledge of the Wilson's disease by analysing its CT findings of the head. Methods CT scans were performed in all cases,CT findings of head were analysed retrospectively. Results CT findings were mainly brain atrophy and the low density of basal ganglia.31 cases had symmetrical ribbon-like or crescent low density in the lentiform nuclei, three had oval low density inthe caudate nucleus, four had symmetrical oval low density in the thalamus, one was normal but atrophy. All cases had brain atrophy. Conclusion The most common CT findings in hepatolenticular degeneration patients are mainly brain atrophy and low density of the basal ganglia, especially the symmetrical low density of the lentiform nuclei is characteristic of Wilson disease on CT.

Objective: To synthesize 10-position schiff base derivatives of emodin and study the anti-tumor activity. Methods:The 10-position schiff base derivatives of emodin were synthesized through emodin reacting with ammonia derivatives in absolute alcohol with acetic acid as the catalytic agent. Their structures were characterized by 1 H-NMR and ESI-MS, and the anti-tumor activity on k562 cells was determined by MTT method. Results:Three 10-position schiff base derivatives were synthesized and the structures were confirmed, and the IC50 on k562 cells was 4. 5, 3. 8 and 2. 0 μmol·L-1 , respectively. Conclusion:The 10-position schiff base de-rivatives of emodin can improve the anti-tumor activity and druggability of the parent compound, which are worthy of further study.

An integration of medical data management system based on WEB and data mining tool is reportedly in this paper. In the application process of this system, web-based medical data mining user sends requests to the server by using client browser with http protocol, the commands are then received by the server and the server calls the data mining tools remote object for data processing, and the results are sent back to the customer browser through the http protocol and presented to the user. In order to prove the feasibility of the proposed solution, the test is done under the NET platform by using SAS and SPSS, and the detail steps are given. By the practical test, it was proved that the web-based data mining tool integration solutions proposed in this paper would have its broad prospects for development, which would open up a new route to the development of medical data mining.

Objective:To explore the clinical effect of combining kinesio taping with filtered infrared-A irradiation in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis.Methods:Eighty-six patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis were randomly divided into a control group ( n=43) and an observation group ( n=43). Both groups received 20 minutes of irradiation with water-filtered infrared-A per day for 14 days, while the observation group was also given kinesio taping after the irradiation on 6 days of each week for the two weeks. Before and after the 2 weeks of treatment, both groups were evaluated for pain, their active and passive range of motion (AROM and PROM) of the shoulder, as well as the range of motion (ROM) of the shoulder joint, and their Constant-Murley score (CMS). The subjects also evaluated the functioning of their own shoulders using a visual analogue scale (VAS). Results:After the treatment, the average VAS scores of both groups were significantly higher than before the treatment, but the observation group′s average was significantly higher than that of the control group. There was significant improvement in the average AROM and PROM in both groups, but in the observation group the average AROM in anteflexion, rear protraction, abduction and extorsion and the average PROM in anteflexion and abduction were significantly better than the control group′s averages. The average total CMS scores of both groups had also improved significantly, but with significantly greater improvement in the observation group leading to a significant difference between the two groups after the intervention. Conclusions:Supplementing water-filtered infrared-A irradiation with kinesio taping is very effective in relieving pain, as well as improving ROM and life quality for persons with scapulohumeral periarthritis.

Objective To study the effects of motor imagery therapy on functional performance of upper ex- tremity in stroke patients. Methods Sixty cases of stroke were divided into a treatment group(n=30) and a con- trol group(n=30).The control group was treated with routine rehabilitation training, while the treatment group was treated with motor imagery therapy in addition to the routine rehabilitation training. The Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA),upper extremity function test(UEFT)and simple test for evaluating hand function(STEF)were used to as- sess the upper extremity function before and after six months of treatment. Results After treatment, patients in both groups scored significantly better with the FMA scales,UEFT scales and STEF scales when compared to their scores obtained before the treatment(P
