Objective To explore the functional impairment characteristics of acute stroke patients and cor- relate them to the functional independence after rehabilitation therapy. Methods Seventy-nine inpatients with stroke were divided into hemorrhage group and infarct group according to their condition. They are assessed by using measures of ESS,MBI,MMSE,Sheikh,Fugl-Meyer Balance and Fugl-Meyer motor assessment before rehabilitation treatment. After 1 month of treatment, all the patients were evaluated again using FIM.Correlation analysis was con- ducted with all the parameters. Results It was found that patients in the hemorrhage group scored lower with MBI, Sheikh,Fugl-Meyer Balance and FIM than those in the infarct group (P

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;29(8):703-707
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the clinical application effects of tinnitus diagnosis and treatment process.
METHOD:
The 1541 clinic patients with tinnitus were included in the diagnosis and treatment process. The diagnosis was clarified based on comprehensive examinations and tests. According to the characteristics of tinnitus, the patients underwent etiological treatment, drug therapy, masking therapy, sound therapy and psychological therapy, respectively, and the curative effect was evaluated.
RESULT:
There were 781 patients received etiological treatment, where the effective rate is 86.17%. For 369 cases of acute and subacute tinnitus, the effective rate for low frequency tinnitus is 80.77% (126/156), and that for high frequency is 72.30% (154/213). For 224 cases of chronic compensated tinnitus, the effective rate of masking therapy is 79.63% (86/108), and the effective rate of sound therapy is 79.31% (92/116). For the 124 cases of chronic decompensated tinnitus, the effective rate of sound therapy combined with psychological counseling is 83.06%.
CONCLUSION
The utilization of tinnitus diagnosis and treatment process can give the patients of tinnitus with different characteristics satisfactory curative effects, and is suggested to be proposed for clinical application.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2009;8(10):746-747
The imaging of X-ray, CT and MRI of 25 cases of limb bone contusion were analyzed retrospectively. Twenty five cases of limb bone confusion were diagnosed by MRI imaging, including 18 cases(72% ) in knee joint,4 cases(16%) in anklebone,2 cases(8%) in wrist and 1 case(4%) in elbow joint. But only 3 cases (12%)presented partial positive results in CT imaging and there was no bone contusion diagnosed. No abnormal manifestation in X-ray imaging for all 25 cases. The results suggest that MRI examination is valuable for diagnose of limb bone contusion.

Objective To investigate whether emergency rooms in major general public hospitals are reasonably designed and convenient for patients. Methods 78 major public hospitals were selected from all over China, except Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, for emergency room convenience analysis. The standards in use were the "Standards of Hospitals" of Joint commission International Accreditation. Results The investigation found in such hospitals the following: poor road conditions outside the clinic and insufficient guides in the clinic; long-than-expected distance (normally over 50 meters) from ER to imaging departments (such as X-ray and CT scan service); ERs in provincial capital cities are significantly more convenient than those in non-capital cities; distance from ERs to CT service is significantly shorter in hospitals in eastern China than those middle and western China. Conclusions Parameters on ER's service quality from "Standards of Hospitals" could serve as a guideline to emergency medicine in China. ERs in China need to improve with conspicuous ER signs, unblocked passageways, and convenient access to inspection departments.

Objective To extract the flavomids from orange peel and determine the content of total flavmoids in orange peel. Methods The total flavonoids in orange peel were determined by using hesperidine as standard sample and edible alcohol as extraction solvent. Results The total content of flavonids is 19.44 g/kg. Conclusion The method is simple and reproducible. It provides a scientific basis for using orange peel.

Objective To determine the colorific value of Matrimory Vine in Qinhai. Method Calorific value of Qinghai matrimony-vine was determined by the method of oxygen bomb type-calorimeter instrument. Results Combustion heat of Qinghai matrimony-vine was 18.36 kJ/g. Conclusion The method is easy and reliable, and its principle is accurate. The data may provide a scientific basis for people’s diet structure and medical use.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(04):-
[Objective]To explore the operating methods and key points of bysteel-wire guiding fixative steel-wire repearing tibial intercondylar eminence avulsion fractures under arthroscope.[Method]From February 2006 to August 2006,14 patients with tibial intercondylar eminence avulsion fractures were treated in bysteel-wire guiding fixative steel-wire method.Among them, there are 9 males and 5 females with an average age of 32.6 years, aged from 5 to 40 years.Injury cause:7 of road accident,5 of falling down while moving and 2 of falling from height. The results of preoperative x-Ray and Artoscan of all patients suggested the avulsion fracture of anterior cruciate ligament from the tibial spine. In the operation, firstly, fixative steel-wire cross the avulsion fracture tendon-bone joint zone. Then, make each side of avulsion fracture a bone tunnel on the tibial plateau. Finally, guide fixative steel-wire out of these two bone tunnels and then fix this steel-wire with the help of guiding steel-wires.After operation, fix the knee joint with plaster slab bended at 20? in three or four weeks.Remove the plaster slab and do functional exercise after 4 weeks. And move with walking stick 8 weeks later.[Result]All 14 patients were available at follow up with mean duration of 10.5 months. The X-Ray suggested bone healed at about 5.5 months after operation. We got the excellent in 8 cases, good in 4 and fair in 2 according to the advanced Lyshdm's classification at the last follow up.The excellent and good rate was 85.1%.[Conclusion]The technique needn't traditional cut,and has many advantages, such as micro injury, rapid recovery and few complications. And it is good to master the main points of this technique for applying it.

Chinese Journal of AIDS & STD 2007;0(03):-
Objective To summarize the experience of HIV/AIDS preventive interventions among out-of-school teenagers and provide scientific evidence for the development of large-scale interventions in the future. Method Using both non-random snowball and cluster sampling approach,a total of 5,000 participants were selected from 7 provinces (9 provincial sites ) and a cross-sectional survey was conducted by employing a semi-open-ended self-administrative interview schedule to evaluate their behavioral change before and after the interventions. Results The rate of HIV related knowledge and condom use increased significantly among the participants. For instance, the rate of condom use when having sex at the last time increased by 34.86%,i.e. from 27.67% at the baseline to 59.88% after the intervention (?2=34,86,P

Chinese Mental Health Journal 1991;0(05):-
Objective: To investigate the impulsivity of SHR (spontaneous hypertensive rat, the animal model of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder), and compare it with the WKY (Wistar Kyoto Rats).Method:The experiment was carried on in the standard Campden instrument operant chambers, the animals were 22h deprived of water. A long Variable Interval Schedule was used and the stable documents of the last ten days were analyzed.Result:There was no significant difference of the reinforcement between SHR and WKY rats. The short inter-response times (IRTs) of SHR were much higher than that of WKY rats. There was no significant difference of short IRTs of the two groups among the three same segments of the experiment. Conclusion:The impulsivity of SHR is more obvious than WKY rats. It will be helpful for the biological research of ADHD.
