Journal of International Oncology 2017;44(2):118-121
As a member of GTPase Rab family,Rab10 protein is not only involved in vesicle formation, transport, anchoring and fusion process, but also affects the occurrence and development of tumors.Research about the mechanisms of Rab10 in intracellular vesicle transport and tumor may provide a potential target and new idea for the anti-cancer therapy.

3.Research of Effective Network of Emotion Electroencephalogram Based on Sparse Bayesian Network.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(5):945-951
Exploring the functional network during the interaction between emotion and cognition is an important way to reveal the underlying neural connections in the brain. Sparse Bayesian network (SBN) has been used to analyze causal characteristics of brain regions and has gradually been applied to the research of brain network. In this study, we got theta band and alpha band from emotion electroencephalogram (EEG) of 22 subjects, constructed effective networks of different arousal, and analyzed measurements of complex network including degree, average clustering coefficient and characteristic path length. We found that: (1) compared with EEG signal of low arousal, left middle temporal extensively interacted with other regions in high arousal, while right superior frontal interacted less; (2) average clustering coefficient was higher in high arousal and characteristic path length was shorter in low arousal.

Chinese Journal of Forensic Medicine 1987;0(03):-
The effects of the temperature, materials and quantities of blood on results of PGM_1 phenotyping inbloodstains in a latin square were studied using polyacrylamide gel isoelectric focusing. The detectabletime of the bloodstains kept at 0℃,4℃,18℃ and 30℃ were 6 months,2 months,1 months and3 weeks respectively. The quantity of blood staining also had an effect on the detectable time of PGM_1subtyping in bloodstains. However, there was not any significant difference of detectable time of PGM_1subtyping in bloodstains on different materials was observed. In addition,a method for permanent storageof zymogram was developed using polyester sheet.

Ginseng and its effective components are famous for their influence to enhance human immunity, regulate endocrine and antioxidant action. However, the different effects of different components are not clear. In this study, Wistar rats were used to study the effects of main components of ginseng, including total ginsenoside, panaxadiol saponins, panaxtrol saponin and ginseng polysaccharide. The results showed that the effects of panaxadiol saponins and ginseng polysaccharide on improving animal immune organ weight, plasma interleukin 2 (IL-2), interleukin 6 (IL-6), plasma gamma-interferon (IFN-γ), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) were better than that of the other groups. Total ginsenoside and panaxtrol saponin can effectively increase the concentration of spleen NK cells (NKC) while panaxadiol saponins and ginseng polysaccharide can significantly increase the concentrations of rat plasma adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH), corticosterone (CORT) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). As for the effect of increasing organization nitric oxide (NO) and superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione (GSH) and malondialdehyde (MDA), total ginsenoside is better than that of other groups. In brief, different components in ginseng possess different effects on enhancing immunity, regulating endocrine and resisting oxidation. Panaxadiol saponins and ginseng polysaccharide are better in enhancing immune, and total ginsenoside shows advantages in resisting oxidation and stress.

Chinese Journal of Nervous and Mental Diseases 2010;36(2):80-83
Objective To study the effect of lovastatin on the expression and activity of β-site APP cleaving enzyme (BACE1). Methods The SH-SY5Y cells were treated by lovastatin. Cell viability was assessed by MTT assay, and the levels of cholesterol were assayed spectrophotometrically, and the activity of BACE1 was detected by fluorometric assay, and the expression level of BACE1 was detected by Western Blot. Results Compared with the control group, the cholesterol levels were decreased by 33.0% (3.33 vs. 4.97; F=5.13, P =0.020) and the activity of BACE1 was reduced by 13.8% (343.14 vs. 398.22; F=3.773, P =0.035) after 24h treatment of 5μmol/L lovastatin; the cholesterol levels were decreased by 49.2% (2.65 vs. 5.22; F=12.239, P =0.001) and the activity of BACE1 was reduced by 38.0% (274.75 vs. 443.14; F=13.610, P <0.01). Treatment with 5μmol/L lovastatin, for 48 h did affect the expression level of BACE1. Conclusions Lovastatin do not affect the expression level of BACE1, but may inhibit its activity and decrease the cholesterol level, thus providing a new approach to prevent or treat Alzheimer's disease (AD).

Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2010;18(3):201-203
Objective To investigate if edema caused by rosiglitazone is associated with the change of aldosterone level. Methods Plasma aldosterone levels in different periods from patients treated with rosiglitazone combined with insulin were measured.Type 2 diabetes patients who have been treated with insulin alone were divided into two groups: patients treated with rosiglitazone(4mg/d) combined with insulin(RSG+insulin group), or treated with insulin alone (insulin group)(n=10). Aldosterone levels, incidence of edema and weight gain were monitored every two months during six months. Results The incidence of edema and weight gain were higher in RSG+insulin group than in insulin group. After two months, aldosterone levels were higher in RSG+insulin group than in insulin group[(77.8±25.9)vs(60.2±27.6)pg/ml,P>0.05],but it had no statistical difference; after four months, aldosterone levels were higher in RSG+insulin group than in insulin group[(87.2±27.1)vs (61.5±25.6) pg/ml,P<0.05]. After six months, aldosterone level recovered gradually,it had no statistical difference compared with that of control[(77.0±21.0)vs(69.6±21.7) pg/ml,P>0.05]. Conclusions The cause of early edema in type 2 diabetic patients treated with rosiglitazone combined with insulin was probably assosiated with elevated aldosterone level.
