Objective To study the altered expression of dopamine transporter (DAT) in substantia nigra and striatum in postmortem human brain of Parkinson’s disease (PD). Methods Immunoautoradiography was used to reveal DAT distribution in postmortem human brain. Results Strongly labeling signal of DAT was mainly found in the substantia nigra, the putamen and the caudate nucleus in controls. In contrast, it was drastically reduced in the putmen and the dorsolateral caudate nuclus in PD brains, but the ventromedial part of the caudate nucleus showed a significant sparing adjacent to the border of the lateral ventricle. In the substantia nigra, the ventral and the lateral parts of the substantia nigra showed an obvious decreasing of DAT and the reducing degree of DAT labeling signals in those regions is smaller than that in the putamen and the caudate nucleus. Quantitative analysis revealed that 90.9% and 66.7% of the labeling intensity of DAT were decreased in the putamen and the caudate nucleus as comparing with the corresponding controls respectively (P

Objective: Introduce and briefly describe the status, characteristics, and writing ideas of general notice in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2025 edition, providing reference and suggestions for better understanding and implementation of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2025 edition.
Methods:This article elaborates on the content and revision of general notice in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2025 edition from the perspective of frame structure and main contents.
Results:Compared with other pharmacopoeias of various countries, Chinese Pharmacopoeia includes standards for traditional Chinese medicine, chemical drugs, biological products and excipients, pharmaceutical packaging materials, etc. Each section of Chinese Pharmacopoeia has its own general notice, with 34 to 48 items arranged in 11 to 12 chapters. Depending on the type of products included and the development history, the general notice in each section present differences in format and content. Given the importance and significance of the standards in Chinese Pharmacopoeia, it is necessary for the industry to coordinate and unify the general notice in various parts of Chinese Pharmacopoeia. With the introduction and revision of regulations, changes in the content of pharmacopoeias, and the application of new technologies, methods, and concepts in drug quality control, considering the unique characteristics of various drugs in quality control and supervision, Chinese Pharmacopoeia has comprehensively standardized relevant requirements. While taking into account the characteristics of the first, second, third, and fourth parts of the pharmacopoeia, it retains the characteristics of relative uniformity and the content of each part, achieving the unified standardization of the general rules of each general notice in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2025 edition and the coordination and consistency of common content.
Conclusion: The current version of Chinese Pharmacopoeia has undergone significant changes and improvements in both form and content. By introducing the overall situation and revised content of general notice in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2025 edition, pharmacopoeia users can have a deeper understanding of Chinese Pharmacopoeia and use it correctly.

Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(03):-
Objective To study serotonin transporters(SERT) in postmortem human brains of Parkinson's disease(PD).Methods Immunoautoradiography was used to show SERT distribution in postmortem PD brains.ResultsIn comparison with healthy group,SERT decreased in dorsal raphe nucleus, substantia nigra and striatum in PD brains.Quantitative analysis showed that 25.9%、31.1%、27.2% and 24.7% of labeling intensity of SERT decreased in putamen, caudate nucleus, substantia nigra and ventrotegmental area as compared with corresponding control respectively.Among the four regions studied of dorsal raphe nucleus,SERT labeling intensity significantly decreased by 38.9%,37.3%,16.5% and 37.0% of corresponding control respectively in ventral part, dorsal part, caudal part and interfascicular part.Median raphe nucleus did not show the decreased SERT labeling.ConclusionDecreased SERT expression in three regions of postmortem PD brains indicates that a dysfunction of serotonergic raphe system may contribute to the etiology of Parkinson's disease.

As people’s attention to health continues to increase, the market demand for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is growing steadily. The quality and safety of Chinese medicinal materials have attracted unprecedented social attention. In particular, the issue of exogenous harmful residue pollution in TCM has become a hot topic of concern for both regulatory authorities and society. The Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2025 Edition further refines the detection methods and limit standards for exogenous harmful residues in TCM. This not only reflects China’s high-level emphasis on the quality and safety of TCM but also demonstrates the continuous progress made by China in the field of TCM safety supervision. Basis on this study, by systematically reviewing the development history of the detection standards for exogenous harmful residues in TCM and analyzing the revisions and updates of these detection standards in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2025 Edition, deeply explores the key points of the changes in the monitoring standards for exogenous harmful residues in TCM in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2025 Edition. Moreover, it interprets the future development directions of the detection of exogenous residues in TCM, aiming to provide a reference for the formulation of TCM safety supervision policies.

Objective:Gastrointestinal heat retention syndrome (GHRS) is associated with lung-heat syndrome and is related to recurrent respiratory infection.Upper respiratory tract infection (URTI) lung heat syndrome is common in children. The study will explore the effect of GHRS on the structure and function of gut microbiota in children with URTI lung-heat syndrome. Methods:Participants were divided into both groups using the self-developed URTI scale and the "GHRS Diagnostic Scale · Pediatric Part":GHRS-positive children (LS group) and GHRS-negative children (L group).General information, clinical symptoms, and stool were collected. We used 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing technology to determine the gene sequence of the V3-V4 region in feces and measure the gut microbiota of the both groups at the genus level. Results:A total of 23 children were included in the both groups. There were 12 cases in the LS group and 11 cases in the L group. There was no statistical difference between the both groups in age, gender, height, weight, and body mass index. The effective sequences shared by the both groups accounted for 85.66% of the total. In the gut microbiota, there was no difference in the α diversity and the β diversity between the both groups.Compared with the L group, the LS group had a significant increase in the relative abundance of the Rurninococcus gnavus group,Prevotella-9,Staphylococcus,and Actinomyces(P <.05).The functions of the both groups of microbiota primarily concentrate on metabolism, genetic information processing, and environmental information processing. The relative abundance of signaling molecules and interactions in the LS group were higher than that in the L group (P <.05).The redun-dancy analysis (RDA) showed that the URTI score had the greatest impact on the distribution of microbiota. Conclusion:GHRS may affect the development of URTI lung-heat syndrome by changing the relative abundances of gut microbiota.
