Objective To study the anti-inflammatory mechanism of the Penyankangshuan (PYKS) in treating chronic pelvic inflammation. Methods After model rats with endometritis were established successflly, 6 groups were formed which were the high, the middle and the low dosage groups of the PYKS, the KFXYS (a kind of patent medicine has a similar effect) group, the model group, the normal group. The treated rats were continuously rectal administration 3 weeks, the expression of NF-?B, Caspase-3 and MMP-2 were observed in the high, the middle dosage groups of the PYKS, the KFXYS group, the model group and the normal group with immunohistochemistry. Results The PYKS obviously raised the expression of Caspase-3 and MMP-2, but decreased the expression of NF-?B. Conclusion The anti-inflammatory mechanism of the PYKS possibly raised the expression of Caspase-3 and MMP-2 of mice endometrial cells, decreased the expression of NF-?B, so as to reduce inflammation soakage in excess and formation of inflammatory medium, accelerate apoptosis and reduce local inflammation.

Objective The TiO2 nanotube arrays,fabricated on the surface of orthopedics,was characterized,to provide carrier for orthopedics plant surface modification or coating,and seek a new way for the prevention and treatment of orthopedics plant infection.Methods By adjusting certain parameters,TiO2 nanotube arrays were fabricated on orthopedic titanium plate surface using the method of anodic oxidation,with glycerol system as electrolyte,orthopedics titanium plate as anode,and platinum electrode as cathode.TiO2 nanotube arrays were characterized.The element composition of TiO2 nanotube arrays was analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS),and the morphological changes of TiO2 nanotube arrays was observed at high temperature (300 ℃) by X-ray diffractomer (XRD).Results With glycerol system as electrolyte,TiO2 nanotube array with diameter of about 100 to 200 nm and the length less than 3μm can be fabricated on orthopedic titanium plate surface using anodic oxidation of 24 h.The surface of orthopedic titanium plate was changed from silver white to deep blue in the macroscopic view.The TiO2 nanotube array on orthopedics titanium plate surface was mainly composed of Ti element (75.88％),O element (20.16％),and F element (3.96％) by XPS analysis.TiO2 nanotube arrays morphology was stable when it was heated to 300 ℃ by muffle furnace.Conclusions The method of anodic oxidation can be applied to manufacture TiO2 nanotubes array on titanium plate surface.The array with stable morphology,the inner hollow shape,the bottom sealing,and a large specific surface area,can withstand high temperature,which can provide carrier for orthopedics plant surface modification or coating.

Objective To observe angiogenic effect of platelet-released growth factors (PRGF) from platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on mierovessel formation at early stage after anterior crueiate ligament (ACL) reconstruction by freeze-dried Achilles tendon. Methods The study involved 14 rabbits, of which 12 rabbits were used as experiment group and the other 2 as control group. In the experiment group, after two sides of rabbit ACL were removed, freeze-dried Achilles tendon treated by PRGF was transplanted into random one side of the knee to substitute the original ACL (PRGF group), while the other side was transplanted with freeze-dried Achilles tendon treated only by normal saline (NS group). Only one side of the knee was removed in the control group. The grafts were observed by HE and immuno- histeehemical staining 2, 4 and 6 weeks after operation. Microvessel density (MVD) was measured by Weidner method. Results Compared with NS group, MVD in PRGF group was significant higher at 2,4 and 6 weeks after operation (P<0.05). MVD of NS group at 2,4 and 6 weeks after operation was 2.52±0.45, 3.41±0.44 and 2.57±0.51 respectively, but that of PRGF group at 2,4 and 6 weeks af- ter operation was 3.56±0.81,4.91±0.46 and 3.01±0.75 respectively (P<0.05). The time of neo- vascular formation and the depth of vascular penetration into the grafts of the PRGF group were superior to those of NS group. Conclusion PRGF can significantly promote microvessel formation at early stage after ACL reconstruction with freeze-dried Achilles tendon.

Objective To observe the effect of platelet-rich plasma(PRP)gel on tendon-bone healing following tendon allograft reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament(ACL).Methods Bilateral ACL reconstructions using Achilles tendon allografts were performed in 24 New Zealand white rabbits matured skeletally.One knee joint was pretreated with the allograft PRP gel(served as experimental group),while the contralateral knee joint was free from treatment with PRP(served as control group).The reconstructions were assessed histologically,immunohistochemically and biomechanically at 2,6 and 12 weeks.Results At 2 and 6 weeks,Burak scores of experimental group were higher than control group.At 12 weeks,the grafts showed a mature zone of fibrocartilage in experimental group but mature scar tissues on the tendon-bone surface.Immunohistochemistry demonstrated early higher expression of VEGF in experimental group than control group and continually higher expression of TGF-β1 in experimental than control group.In contrast,the grafts of the controls group revealed the development of mature scar tissue resembling Sharpey fibers spanning the tendon-bone interface.At 2 and 6 weeks,the biomechanical analysis revealed the limit load of(15.3±2.9)N and(33.2±6.9)N respectively in experimental group,which were significantly higher than(7.9±1.4)N and(23.7±4.9)N in control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Application of PRP is the potential means to enhance the earlier healing of the allograft tendon-bone.

Objective To evaluate the anesthesia efficacy and safety of superior thoracic epidural block combined with proper sedation in patients with radiofrequency ablation of lung cancer. Methods Sixty patients undergoing radiofrequency ablation of lung cancer were performed under epidural block with local anesthetic of 0.8～1.0% lidocaine, and the punctured point was applied at the T 6-7 or T 5-6 . Objective To quantitatively study the features of cerebromspinal fluid(CSF)flow dynamies in normal sella region in MRI with phase-contrast method.Methods Seventeen healthy volunteers were studied.The CSF flow image in sella region was positioned at the middle sagittal T1WI or T2WI image.This pulse sequence used a encoding velocity of 20 cm/s.The waveforms were analyzed for the maximum flow velocity,flow volume rate and the change of the figures.From the velocity and area measurements on the cine images,mean CSF flow was calculated in millimeters per second and milliliters per cardiac cycle.Results The normal CSF flow of the sella region had two directions which was downward(caudal)flow during thesystolic period and upward(cranial)flow during the diastolic period of the cardiac cycle.The downward and upward peak flow velocity,mean downward and upward flow velocity and mean flow velocity was(1.44±0.99)cm/s,(302.71±248.15)ms,(1.16±0.64)cm/s,(331.00±225.38)ms,(0.49±0.39)cm/s.(0.67±0.44)cm/s,(0.54±O.30)cm/s,respectively.The downward and upward peak flow volume rate.mean downward and upward flow volume rate and mean flow volume rate was (0.014±0.009)ml/s.(0.012±0.006)ml/s,(0.047±0.041)ml/s,(0.053±0.003)ml/s,(0.005±0.003)ml/s,(0.034±0.031)ml/s,respectively.The mean cycle was(775.25±173.06)ms.Conclusion Phase-contrast method in MRI cine is a noninvasive method to study the CSF flow in physiological and pathological conditions for determining the pattern,direction,speed and quantity of the CSF flow.Therefore it is better than other invasive research modalities and has an important value in clinical application.

Objective To compare the clinical effect of ERCP and PTCD metal stent implantation in the treatment of malignant obstructive jaundice.Methods 42 patients who were treated successfully with ERCP biliary metal stent implantation in the treatment of malignant obstructive jaundice were selected as the ERCP group,38 patients who were successfully treated with PTCD biliary metal stent implantation in the treatment of malignant obstructive jaundice,were selected as the PTCD group.The changes of alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase,direct bilirubin,total bilirubin content and complications of patients were compared between two groups.Results On the third day of the ERCP group after operation,alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase,direct bilirubin,total bilirubin levels were (203.94 ±12.53)U /L,(180.94 ±17.53)U /L,(185.63 ±17.53)μmol/L,(240.41 ± 18.79)μmol/L respectively,those of the PTCD group were (230.63 ±13.95)U /L,(209.19 ±19.74)U /L,(192.52 ± 16.93)μmol/L,(266.83 ±20.73)μmol/L respectively,which were significantly lower than before operation(all P <0.05).The incidence rate of complications of ERCP group was 4.76%,which was significantly lower than 23.68% of the PTCD group(χ2 =6.02,P <0.05).Conclusion ERCP and PTCD biliary metal stent placement in the treatment of malignant obstructive jaundice can effectively relieve the obstruction.The incidence of complications of PTCD is slightly higher in both common complications.
