1.The relaxing effect of Kouzilan on isolated thoracic aortic ring of SD rat
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(02):-
Kouzilan was selected as a potent hypotensive drug, and two fractions, K01 (hydrosoluble element) and K02 (fat-soluble element), were extracted from it. Thepresent study focused on its mechanism of vascular effects in vitro. The data showed thatK01 and K02 antagonized the contraction of isolated thoracic aortic ring of SD rat, indu-ced by norepinephrine (NE, 1 ?mol/L). The IC_(50) values of K01 and K02 were 1.98g/Land 1.15g/L respectively, and that of Verapamil (Ver) was 0.88 ?mol/L. K01, K02 andVer all shifted the dose-response curves of NE to the right in a noncompetitive antagonis-tic manner, and they also depressed the maximal efficacy of contraction. Added NE intoa calcium-free K-H solution to induce aortic vessel contraction (phase 1), then added cal-cium (2.5mmol/L) to induce continued contraction (phase 2), K01 depressed phase 2significantly. In lower concentration, K02 was similar to K01, however, in higher concen-tration, it depressed phase 1 and phase. 2 significantly, which was similar to Ver. Theseresults suggested that K01 and K02 had a vasodilative effect, which was related to theblockade of the receptor operated calcium channel (ROC). K02 inhibited both the calciumrelease from intracellar storage sites and the influx of extracellar calcium, but K01 onlyinhibited the latter.
2.Chiral selective effects of doxazosin and its enantiomers on cell proliferation in cultured vascular smooth muscle cells of the rat aorta
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(01):-
Aim To investigate the effect of racemic-doxazosin(rac-DOX),S-doxazosin(S-DOX) and R-doxazosin(R-DOX) on the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs) of the rat aorta. Methods VSMCs of the rat aorta were cultured,MTT assay was used to determine the cell proliferation and the morphological changes in VSMCs were analyzed using Giemsa's staining. Results The treatment with rac-DOX,S-DOX or R-DOX at 3~30 ?mol?L-1 for 96 h inhibited the proliferation of VSMCs significantly. However, the inhibitory effect of S-DOX on cell proliferation was more potent than that of R-DOX at the same concentration(P
3.Protective effect of glutamine on acute hepatic injury
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(11):-
Objective To explore the roles and clinical significance of glutamine(GLN) in carbon tetrachloride(CCl_(4)) induced acute hepatic injury. Methods The SD rats were divided into model group,GLN pretreated group and control group. The animal model was established by CCl_(4) intraperitoneal injection.GLN at dose of 1 g/kg was intragastrically administrated for 7 d before intraperitoneal injection of CCl_(4) in the rats of GLN pretreated group. The rats were executed 4,8,12,16,24 h after injure. To evaluate the hepatic injury, the serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase(AST) were detected by automatic biochemistry analysator. The liver tissue was observed by light microscope and transmission electron microscope(TEM).The expression of nuclear factor-?B(NF-?B) was detected by immunohistochemistry and the tumor necrosis factor?(TNF-?) was detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).The apoptosis of hepatocyte was detected by TUNEL.The oncosis index was detected by TEM.Results The levels of ALT,AST,NF-?B,TNF-? mRNA in model group were apparently elevated as compared to control group(P
4.Relationship between inflammation and macroangiopathy in type 2 diabetes mellitus and the protective role of pioglitazone in macroangiopathy
Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2008;16(8):491-492
The changes of the levels of C-reactive protein, endothelin and nitric oxide before and after pioglitazone treatment in type 2 diabetic patients suggested that inflammation participated in the pathogenesis of diabetic macroangiopathy and pioglitazone can protect vessels

The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scale is a rating scale for rapid screening of mild cognitive impairment. In recent years, with the deepening of clinical research, the application scope of MoCA has been gradually expanded to the assessment of cognitive impairment-related diseases. This article reviews the clinical advances in research on MoCA in early screening of vascular cognitive impairment-no dementia
6.The expression and significance of survivin in hepatocellular carcinoma: a Meta-analysis
Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2014;20(2):113-118
Objective To investigate the expression and significance of survivin in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods All reports published in the past 13 years on survivin and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) were reviewed.A Meta-analysis was conducted on these studies and it was used to determine the prognostic significance of the expression of survivin on patients with HCC.Results 18 studies were included into this Meta-analysis.There were 1 021 HCC patients and 208 normal controls. There was a significant difference between the positive rate of survivin in hepatocellular carcinoma and in normal tissues (0R =30.61; 95% CI:16.67-56.23).The expression of survivin correlated with clinical staging, pathological differentiation, tumor metastasis, portal vein tumor thmmbus, and survival (P < 0.05).There was no correlation with gender, age,AFP,HBsAg,tumor diameter, and tumor capsule (P > 0.05).Conclusiom Survivin can be used as a molecular marker for the definitive prognosis of HCC.It is also a reliable marker in the choice of standardized and individualized therapy.
