Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2016;22(12):1404-1407
In recent years, neuro-electrophysiological techniques, as objective evaluation methods, have been gradually used in func-tional evaluation, guiding clinical rehabilitation programs and judging prognosis after stroke. They were proved to judge the integrity of cen-tral nervous system and conduction function and evaluate neuromuscular function. Nerve conduction, needle electromyography, H reflex, F wave, sympathetic skin response, motor-evoked potentials, somatosensory-evoked potentials, brain stem auditory-evoked potentials and sur-face electromyography were reviewed in this article.
2.Correlation of posterior cervical decompression with spinal cord shifting backward distance and axial symptoms
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(13):2037-2042
BACKGROUND:The distance of spinal cord shifting backward after treatment through cervical posterior approach is affected by various factors. In fact, it is a morphological change after spinal cord is affected by external force.
OBJECTIVE:To analyze the influential factors for spinal cord shifting backward after posterior cervical decompression for cervical spondylotic myelopathy.
METHODS:Case data of 70 patients with multi-segmental cervical spondylotic myelopathy undergoing posterior cervical decompression were retrospectively analyzed. According to the different distances of spinal cord shifting backward after treatment, they were divided into three groups:<3 mm group, 3-5 mm group, and>5 mm group. In accordance with Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores, the degree of cervical curvature and axial symptom index were compared.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:No significant difference in the recovery rate of Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores was detected among the three groups. No significant difference in cervical curvature was visible among the three groups before and after treatment. The proportion of axial symptom was significantly higher in the patients of>5 mm group than the other two groups after treatment (P<0.05). These results suggested that the distance of spinal cord shifting backward was associated with axial symptom after treatment in patients with cervical spondylotic myelopathy after posterior cervical decompression.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2013;44(7):794-797
Objective: To investigate the chemical constituents in the dried whole plant of Lobelia chinensis. Methods: Column chromatography, such as silica gel, MCI, ODS, Sephadex LH-20, C18 reverse-phased silica gel columns, and preparative HPLC were used to isolate the compounds. Spectroscopic methods like MS, 1H-NMR, and 13C-NMR were used to elucidate their structures. Results: Fifteen compounds were isolated from 95% ethanol extract of L. chinensis, including twelve flavonoids: quercetin (1), rutin (2), luteolin (3), apigenin (4), hesperidin (5), quercetin-3-O-α-L-rhamnoside (6), quercetin-7-O-α-L-rhamnoside (7), quercetin-3- O-β-D-glucoside (8), amentoflavone (9), naringenin (10), hesperetin (11), and eupafolin (12), and three coumarins: 5, 7- dimethoxy-coumarin (13), isoscopoletin (14), and scoparone (15). Conclusion: Compounds 6-12 are isolated from the plants in genus Lobelia L. for the first time. Compounds 5, 13, and 14 are isolated from L. chinensis for the first time.
5.Research progress of bone morphogenetic proteins-9 induced periodontal ligament stem cells osteogenesis differentiation and it′s signal pathway
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2015;(12):1327-1332
Bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) are members of the transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β) superfamily and play critical roles in skeletal development, bone formation and stem cell differentiation.BMP9 is one of the most osteogenic BMPs, promoting osteogenesis differentiation of periodontal ligament stem cells ( PDLSCs) both in vitro and in vivo.Recently, signal transduc-tion studies have revealed that BMP-Receptor-Smads and BMP-Receptor-Mitogen activated protein kinase ( MAPK) play vital roles in BMP9 which promote PDLSCs osteogenesis differentiation.Several studies revealed that transcription factors closely associated with os-teogenesis differentiation are found in the downstream of the Smads and MAPK pathways. This review aims to summarize our current knowledge of BMP9-mediated osteogenesis by presenting recently completed works which may help us to further elucidate these path-ways.

9.The analysis of effects and complications of cervical spondylotic myelopathy(CSM)treated with de compression by two different approaches
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 2008;28(9):714-719
Objective To analyze functional improvement of spinal cord and the prognosis of two surgical approaches for the stenosis of cervical spinal canal;to investigate the mechanisms concerning post-terior decompression, fusion with ilium graft and internal fixation and 158 cases who underwent dorsal laminectomy from January 2001 to October 2002 were follow-up for at least 24 months and examined with the evaluation systems of Japanese Orthopaedic Association Score, somatosensary evoked essential and initiative range of motion to compare preoperative,short-term and long-term efficacy. Results According to selected standard of improvement rate, therapeutic effect of 56 sufferers among ventral approach group was analyzed,14 cases(25%)excellent,29 cases(51.79%)good,10 cases(17.86%)fair,3 cases(5.36%)poor;postoperative effect of 62 sufferers from dorsal approach group was analyzed,23 cases(37.10%)excellent,31 cases(50%)good,7 cases(11.29%)fair,1 case(1.61%)poor.Concerning JOA evaluation of spinal cord function, initiative range of motion and correlated parameters of SEP,there was significant difference between two decompression approach in postoperative periods.7 cases from anterior approach and 13 patients from posterior approach disturbed by postoperative complications were gradually rehabilitated through conservative of Cervical 5 spinal root',the essence of above-mentioned symptoms may be cervical cord impairment due to decompression process, which would be alleviated by appropriate intervention;2)The efficiency of posterior decompression get the better of anterior decompression in light of fundamentally enlarging available space approach became a little smaller than normal individuals, however, the corresponding parameters after anterior approach lower than the former two groups.
10.Clinical Observation of Electroacupuncture for Gastrointestinal Dysfunction After Abdominal Operation
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2016;35(12):1397-1400
Objective To compare the therapeutic efficacy between conventional nursing and conventional nursing plus electroacupuncture in treating gastrointestinal dysfunction after abdominal operation, and their effects in recovering gastrointestinal function. Method Sixty patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction after abdominal operation were randomized into an electroacupuncture group and a control group according to their operation time, 30 cases in each group. The electroacupuncture group was intervened by conventional postoperative nursing plus electroacupuncture, by selecting bilateral Zusanli (ST36), Shangjuxu (ST37), Xiajuxu (ST39), Neiguan (PC6) and Taichong (LR3), connected to HANS electroacupuncture device, with frequency at 2 Hz and a tolerable intensity. The treatment was given once a day, for 5 d in total, till the recovery of gastrointestinal function. The control group was intervened by conventional postoperative nursing. The therapeutic efficacy was evaluated at the end of the intervention. The time of first bowel sound, first exhaust time, and first bowel movement time were observed. The gastrointestinal symptom score (GIS) was adopted to evaluate the effects of the two methods in improving gastrointestinal function at the end of the intervention. Result The general therapeutic efficacy of electroacupuncture group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05). In the electroacupuncture group, time taken for the first bowel sound, first exhaust and first bowel movement after the operation was shorter(P<0.05). The GIS dropped in both groups after the treatment, and the improvement was more significant in the electroacupuncture group(P<0.05). Conclusion Electroacupuncture helps promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients with postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction, and can produce a more significant improvement.
