3.Perioperative management of the patients with thyrotoxicosis
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(05):-
Thyroidectomy provides rapid solution of hyperthyroidism and the goal of perioperative management is to make patient as close as possible to euthyroidism clinically and biochemically before surgery. It is recommended to target at the thyroid hormone synthetic, secretory, and peripheral pathway with concurrent treatment to correct any latent decompensation of normal homeostatic mechanisms.
4.Nutritional therapy of gestational diabetes mellitus and impaired glucose tolerance
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 2004;0(05):-
Objective:To study the nutritional therapy of GDM and IGT.Methods:50 g glucose challenge test was done 610 in patients at examination in our hospital. The oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT)was performed in glucose challenge test positive patients to diagnose GDM and IGT.The blood glucose of fasting and postprandial 2h,perinatal mortality, incidence of large neonates were observed after treatment with nutrition in the GDM and IGT patients. Results:There were 15 cases of GDM and 61cases of IGT during the 140 cases of GCT positive patients. After nutritional therapy, the GDM's fasting and postprandial 2 h blood glucose decreased significantly(P
5.The efficay of paclitaxel combined with gemcitabine for patients with anthracycine-resistant metastatic breast Cancer
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(18):2455-2456
ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical efficacy and toxicity of the regimen of paclitaxel combined with gemcitabine for anthracycine-resistant metastatic breast cancer. MethodsThirty patients with anthracycine-resistant metastatic breast cancer were enrolled in the study: paclitaxel 135mg/m2 infusion on day 1; Gemcitabine 850mg/m2 infusion on day 1,8 ,and administered in three weeks cycle. The clinical efficacy was evaluated every two cycles. ResultsOf all thirty patients qualified for efficacy analysis and among them CR 3 cases( 10% ) ,PR 11 cases (36.7 % ), SD 11 cases ( 36.7% ), and PD 5 cases ( 16.7% ), with an overall response rate of 46.7%. The median TTP and overall survival in those 30 patients was 7.1 and 15.6 months. The main toxicities with grade 3 and 4 were hypoleucocytosis in 10 patients(30.0% ) ,thrombocytopenia in 4 patients( 13.3% ). ConclusionThe regimen of paclitaxel combined with gemcitabine was effective,well-tolerated scheme in the anthracycine-resistant metastatic breast cancer.
6.Management of delayed-diagnosed iatrogenic injury in cho-ledocho-pancreatico-duodenal junction
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2009;8(3):179-180
Iatrogenic injury in choledocho-pancreatico-duodenal junction is usually difficult to discover in the course of operation because of its unique anatomical position. The injury can lead to postoperative chilis, fever, pain and swelling of the waist, which would easily be misdiagnosed as acute necrotizing pancreatitis. Controlling operations, such as bile and pancreatic juice separation, duodenal diverticularization, jejunal fistulation for enteral nutrition and abdominal drainage should be performed in dealing with the injury in choledocho-pancreatico-duodenal junction. Combined application of pyloric suture with absorbable thread and ligatian, gastric fistulation, ligation of the distal common bile duct and T-tube drainage is minimally invasive, and can fulfill a fully separation of bile and pancreatic juice and duodenal diverticularization. It will improve the possibility of secondary radical operation by ameliorating pyemia and general nutritional condition.
7.Application of RFID to Gold Immunochromatographic Assay
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2004;0(09):-
Objective To set a RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) system for Gold Immunochromatographic Assay by using RFID-reading module,RFID tags and the master-MCU.Methods Radio frequency technology is characterized by the automatic identification and large dada-storage capacity.Electronic tags were packed with Gold Immunochromatographic Assay(GICA) strips and such data were stored in electronic tags as strip information, the test results, the identity of the tested, the test date, etc. The information were transmitted to PC through the RS-232 serial port, thus realizing the rapid and accurate recording and management of data. Results The application of RFID guaranteed the proper use of Gold Immunochromatographic Assay strips and improved the efficiency of sample management and data storage. Conclusion The application of RFID to Gold Immunochromatographic Assay can be used in general investigation of epidemic situation, biomedical detection and other relevant fields.
8.A study on new cell-cycle inhibitors from the metabolites of marine-derived Streptomyces flavorectus
Chinese Journal of Marine Drugs 1994;0(04):-
Aim To explore the antitumor active metabolites of marine-derived Streptomyces flavorectus Z4-007. Methods The separation procedure was guided by a flow cytometric bioassay using tsFT210 cells to examine cell cycle inhibitory activity, and various column chromatography using silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, and ODS were employed for the isolation and purification of bioactive compounds. Chemical structures were investigated by spectroscopic methods and biological activities were evaluated by flow cytometry using mouse cancer tsFT210 cells. Results Four bioactive compounds were isolated from the fermentation broth of Streptomyces flavorectus Z4-007, one of them had been identified as 1-(2,4-Dihydroxy-3,5-dimethyl-phenyl)-hexa- (E,E)-2,4-dien-1-one (1) and the other three compounds were considered to be peptide, Compound Ⅰ inhibited the cell-cycle of tsFT210 cells at the G_0/G_1 phase at higher concentrations, while at the lower concentrations compound Ⅰ inhibited the cell-cycle mainly at the G_2/M phase, accompanied with induction of apoptosis in the tsFT210 cells. Conclusion Compound Ⅰ was isolated from the metabolites of the genus Streptomyces for the first time and provided as a new cell-cycle inhibitor.
9.Effect of acute hypoxia with simulated high altitude on expression of orexins in rat hypothalamus
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 2004;0(05):-
Objective: To study the effect of acute hypoxia with simulated high altitude on the expression of orexins in rats hypothalamus. Methods: Rats were exposed to different high altitude(3 000 m,(4 000) m,5 000 m and 6 000 m for 8 h daily) in a hypobaric chamber. The expression of orexins in rat hypothalamus was determined by immunohistochemistry and the pathology changes of rat hypothalamus was observed with transelectricity. Results: The number of orexin-A immunoreactive positive cells in hypothalamus decreased obviously with hypoxia for 1 day(P
10.The clinical study of febrile convulsion.
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(S1):-
Objective To study the differences of electrolytes,C-reactive protein in different type, gender and recur- rent of febrile convulsion. Methods 174 cases of children febrile convulsion were collected. We detected the electro- lytes,C-reactive protein respectively and analyzed their relationship. Results In children febrile convulsion, the lev- els of the electrolytes,C-reactive protein had nothing to do with the type, gender and recurrent of the febrile convul- sion. Conclusion We should treat routinely the children who suffered from febrile convulsion without considering the type, gender and recurrent.
