1.Radiographic evaluation of cone-beam computed tomography for oral implants: maxillary sinus.
West China Journal of Stomatology 2015;33(4):331-335
Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) has an important function in understanding implant operations. CBCT can be used to evaluate the basic condition of implant site before implant operation and decide whether it is suitable for implanting. CBCT also ensures whether the direction of implant and the operation method are satisfactory. CBCT can be used pre- or post-operation as long as the case involves the maxillary sinus. Clinical implant cases using CBCT were introduced to evaluate the maxillary sinus pre- or post-operation.

4.A Comparative Study of Aripiprazole and Risperidone in the Treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease Dementia Combined Psychiatric Symptoms
Journal of Kunming Medical University 2013;(12):114-116
Objective To investigate and compare the therapeutic effect of aripiprazole and risperidone in the treatment of psychiatric symptoms in Alzheimer’s disease dementia. Methods 64 patients of Alzheimer's disease dementia with psychiatric symptoms, were divided into risperidone donepezil group (A) and aripiprazole donepezil group (B ) . Before and 4, 8 weeks after treatment, the BEHAV-AD scale was used to assess the pathological behavior and the side effects scale (TESS) was used to assess adverse drug reactions. Results A group at 4 weeks after treatment BEHAV-AD score showed no significant difference with before treatment ( >0.05), 8 weeks after treatment decreased significantly (<0.05) . Group B 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment BEHAV-AD score was significantly decreased ( <0.05) . BEHAV-AD score in Group B 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment was significantly lower than group A ( <0.05) .The scores in behavioral disorders, depression, anxiety in Group B were significantly lower than group A ( <0.05), the scores in paranoia ,hallucinations, aggressive behavior, delirium showed no significant difference between two groups ( >0.05) . 4 weeks after treatment, the two groups had no significant difference in TESS score ( >0.05), 8 weeks after treatment the TESS scores in group B were significantly lower in group A ( <0.05) .Conclusion Aripiprazole + donepezil can effectively alleviate the symptoms of these patients with lower mental side effects, and has better effect in treatment of Alzheimer's disease dementia with psychiatric symptoms.
5.Therapeutic effect of thalidomide plus irinotecan and cisplatin for recurrent small cell lung cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(4):306-308
Objective To investigate the efficacy and toxicity of thalidomide plus irinotecan and cisplatin treatment for recurrent small cell lung cancer. Methods 62 Patients with recurrent small cell lung cancer in the same period were randomly divided into observation group and control group according to the principle of minimum distribution imbalance index. The observation group patients were treated with thalidomide plus irinotecan and cisplatin chemotherapy, and the control group patients were treated with irinotecan and cisplatin chemotherapy. The efficacy and toxicity of the two groups were compared. Results The overall response rate in the group observation was 86.7% compared with 63.3% in the control group, and the difference had statistical significance (x2 =8.52,P < 0.05).The major toxicities were hematologic toxicity and gastrointestinal symptoms, and the side effects differences were not statistically significant (x2 =0.18,P > 0.05).Conclusion The treatment of recurrent small cell lung cancer with irinotecan and cisplatin in combination with thalidomide has high efficiency, and the toxicity can be tolerated.
6.Characteristics of apolipoprotein M and its relation to cardiovascular disease
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2013;(6):502-505
Apolipoprotein M (apoM) is a novel apolipoprotein discovered in 1999 and belongs tothe lipocalin protein superfamily. The APOM gene is mainly expressed in the liver and kidney,Where it is highly regulated by transcription factors, cytokines, hormones etc.Series of studies have shown that apoM plays an important role in lipoprotein metabolism especially in high-density lipoprotein (HDL).Since the relationship between HDL and atherosclerosis (AS) has been well known, apoM is supposed to be of potential fuctional importance in AS.Here we review the progress made in understanding the characteristics of apoM and its relationship to cardiovascular disease.
7.Relationship between internet addiction and suicidal tendency in undergraduates
Chinese Journal of Health Management 2011;05(6):384-386
Objective To understand the prevalence of internet addiction disorder(IAD)and explore its relationship with suicidal tendency of undergraduates. Methods A total of 1517 undergraduates were investigated by using Internet Addiction Scale(IAS),Beck Hopelessness Scale(BHS)and self-made questionnaire. Results The prevalence of lAD was 14.8%.Males,single child, and those at the second grade, with poor performance or higher family income were at a higher risk of internet addiction(P < 0.01).There was significantly positive correlation between internet addiction and suicidal tendency in undergraduates(x2 =76.30,P < 0.01,r =0.40).The risk of suicidal tendency was significantly increased in the high internet addiction score group(OR =12.29,95 % CI 6.33 to 23.84).Conclusion Higher prevalence of IAD was found in the undergraduates, which could contribute to the increasing suicide.
8.Progress of asthma and Th17 cells
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(6):579-582
Bronchial asthma is a chronic inflammation airway disease. The imbalance of T helper cell (Th) 1/Th2 immunity plays an important role in the pathogenesis of allergic asthma.Recent years a new T cell lineage has been recognized as Thl7 cells because they can produce cytokines interleukin-17.The new studies find that interleukin-17 is a negative regulator of asthma, and interleukin-17 or Th17 cells may represent an interesting therapeutic target in asthma.
9.Current situation and influencing factors of uncertainty in illness of family members of patients with malignant tumor
Cancer Research and Clinic 2013;(3):184-186
Objective To investigate uncertainty in illness of family members of patients with malignant tumor,to explore the factors that affect uncertainty in illness of family members of patients with malignant tumor, and to provide clinical basis for clinical doctors and nurses implementing effective interventions for their patients. Methods Questionnaires were conduted to investigate uncertainty in illness of family members of patients with malignant tumor and explore the related factors. The measurements included three parts,Chinese version of Mishel uncertainty in illness scale for family member,self-designed questionnaire about family general condition, patients disease information. Results The total score of uncertainty in illness was 82.71±9.93,more than 50 % (75 score) of the highest PPUS-FM score. There were statistical significances of uncertainty in illness in education (F =8.06,P < 0.05),family income (F=3.14,P < 0.05),residence place (F =3.99,P < 0.05) and frequency of hospitalization (F =4.85,P < 0.05).Conclusion Family members of patients with malignant tumor have a higher level of uncertainty in illness.Education, family income, residence place and frequency of hospitalization have a certain effect on uncertainty in illness of family members of patients with malignant tumor.
10.Research advances in prevention and treatment of cerebral radiation necrosis
Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology 2016;25(9):911-916
Cerebral radiation necrosis (CRN) is a serious complication of radiotherapy for intracranial tumors and skull base tumors.Since there lacked effective therapeutic methods in the past,CRN was once considered to be progressive and irreversible. With the development of histopathology and neuroimaging, the development and progression of CRN is gradually clarified, and new therapeutic methods have been developed. In recent years, the scholars at home and abroad have tried to use bevacizumab (a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor),nerve growth factor, and ganglioside in the treatment of CRN and have achieved definite therapeutic effects. In some patients, cerebral necrosis was even repaired and reversed. This article reviews the incidence, pathophysiology, treatment, and prognosis of CRN.
