1.Effect of paeoniflorin on protein expression of HFCL of human bone marrow stromal cells
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the effects of paeoniflorin on proliferation and the protein expression of HFCL of human bone marrow stromal cells and to discuss molecular mechanism of blood enriching functions of paeoniflorin. Methods Flow cytometry and proteomics were used respectively to measure the effect of paeoniflorin on cell cycle and protein expression of HFCL. Results Paeoniflorin could promote HFCL from G_0/G_1 phase to S phase, increase proliferative index, up-regulate nine kinds of proteins, and down-regulate five kinds of proteins of HFCL. The proteins up-regulated include Ras-related nuclear protein, lamin A/C, isocitrate dehydrogenase 3 (NAD+), triosephosphate isomerase, ATP synthase, ribosomal protein P2, and chaperonin containing t-complex polypeptide 1. Conclusion Through promoting HFCL proliferation, acting on multiple protein targets, enhancing the synthesis of cytoarchitecture proteins and the expression of protein chaperonin, increasing the energy metabolism of HFCL, and suppressing the apoptosis of HFCL, paeoniflorin plays indirectly blood enriching function.
2.Prevention of Surgical Incision Infection by Applying AcasinTM Dressing
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 1994;0(04):-
OBJECTIVE To detect the effect of AcasinTM dressing on surgical incision healing.METHODS Eighty cases with types Ⅰand Ⅱsurgical incision operation at outpatient clinic were divided into study group and control group.AcasinTM dressing was applied to study group while common aseptic dressing was applied to control group. The bacterial test results and the healing condition of the incision were observed.RESULTS The bacterial tests were negative in study group, the average healing time was 7.32?1.74 days, the healed rate of stage Ⅰ was 100.00%.The bacterial tests were positive in 10 cases of control group,10 cases had redness in incision,5 cases with drainage leakage, the average healing time was 10.12?2.24 days,The healed rate of stage Ⅰ was 90.00%.CONCLUSIONS AcasinTM dressing can eridicate pathogenic organism in surgical incision and suture,It can effectively prevent incision infection, and promote stage Ⅰincision healing. It is worth spread in clinic.
3. Association of genetic polymorphisms in CYP1A1 and NAT2 with susceptibility to renal cancer: A case control study
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;29(10):1147-1152
Objective: To study the effect of genetic polymorphisms of cytochrome P4501A1 (CYP1A1), N-acetyltransferase 2 (NAT2) on the susceptibility to renal cancer. Methods: The genetic polymorphisms of CYP1A1 and NAT2 were examined in the renal cancer patients and controls using restriction fragment length polymorphism-polymerase chain reaction (RFLP-PCR) methods. Results: The distribution of CYP1A1 (W/M) and NAT2 (intermediate) genotypes was significantly different between the renal cancer patients and controls (P<0.05). Individuals carrying CYP1A1 (W/M) or NAT2 (intermediate) genotypes had an increased risk for renal cancer(OR=2.487, 95% CI: 1.493-4. 142; OR=1.970, 95% CI: 1.128-3.442,respectively). Multivariate analysis showed increased risk for renal cancer patients carrying CYP1A1 (W/M) or NAT2 (intermediate) genotypes and those who smoke. Conclusion: The genotypes CYP1A1 (W/M) and NAT2 (intermediate) are the risk factors of renal cancer, and the 2 genotypes have a interactive effect and both have a joint effect with smoking.
4. Relationship between CYP1A1 gene single nucleotide polymorphism and genetic susceptibility of renal cancer
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;29(8):971-974
Objective: To evaluate the relationship between the polymorphism of CYP1A1 gene and the genetic susceptibility to renal cancer. Methods: A case-control study was conducted in 175 renal cancer patients and 200 healthy control subjects to investigate the role of CYP1A1 gene A4889G(M2) and C4887A(M4) polymorphisms in renal cancer. PCR-RFLP was used to identify the genotypes of polymorphism. Results: The frequencies of A4889G and C4887A genotypes were not significantly different between RCC cases and healthy controls. M2/M2 genotype was positively correlated with the incidence of renal cancer (OR=2.225 [95%CI=1.134-4.365, P=0.020]). Conclusion: M2/M2 genotype of CYP1A1 gene may be a risk factor for renal cancer.

fang, WANG ; rui, XI ; guo-ping, LU
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(04):-
Hyperhomocysteinemia is an independent risk factor for arterial and venous obstructive vascular di-seases. Raised plasma homocysteine concentrations are caused by genetic and non-genetic factors. The pathogenic mechanism is not clear. It may be associated with endothelium dysfunction, abnormal lipid metabolism, hypertrophy of intima media, increased platelet aggregation and several clotting factors interfered, etc. The metabolism and pathogenic mechanism of homocysteine are reviewed in this article, which provides theoretical foundation for the treatement of hyperhomocysteinemia.
