Signal transdcuers and activators of transcription3 (Stat3) is activated by a wide range of cytokines and growth factors following binding to special DNA domain and affects the expression of a variety of genes in modulating the process of cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. As a point of convergence for many oncogenic tyrosine kinase signaling pathways,it can be activited by sevral accesses. Stat3 is not only in-volved in the function of both apoptosis suppression,proliferation promotion,but also participates the process of angiogenesis,invasion and immune evasion. For repression of this way maybe a new target for break of cancer in-vasion and metastasis,blockers of Stat3 has become the focus of many researches.

Objective To know the cognition of residents of middle or small cities of China on adverse effects of indoor air pollution on human health.Methods 208 pupils of grade 2 to 4 were randomly selected in 2 primary schools in Taian city,and their parents were asked to fill in the questionnaires in May,2008.Results 72% of the total investigated families moved into their new houses within 3 months after the interior decoration was finished,and only 2% of the investigated families monitored the pollutants concentration after the decoration was finished.Most families hadn't the correct concepts on decoration pollution.52.88% of the investigated families considered that the newly decorated house should be safe if the green materials were used in the decoration.47.12% considered it was safe if no abnormal odor.39.42% said that indoor pollution could be eliminated by air refresher.55.76% to 62.5% of the investigated families hadn't the knowledge that furniture and fibrous materials may cause the indoor air pollution.As for the harm of decoration pollution,most families(above 50%) knew,but a few,such as cancer,leukemia and respiratory diseases.63.46% of the families did not really know China's policies and regulations on interior environment inspection.Conclusion In our country,it is very important for the prevention and control of the air pollution related diseases that the whole society should pay more attention to indoor air pollution and human health.

Objectives To investigate the clinical feature of Parkinson's disease (PD) with restless leg syndrome (RLS) and the pathogenesis of RLS. Methods We conducted a cross-sectional and control study. The case group concluded 31 PD with RLS patients, meanwhile 39 PD patients were selected as the control group. Clinical history, clinical manifestations, complications and laboratory examinations were compared respectively between the two groups. Results All the RLS symptoms did not appear in RLS patients until the PD symptoms came out. Significant differences were found in complications such as swallow disturbance, constipation and illusion, when we compared the two PD groups (P ＜ 0.05 ). Compared with the PD or healthy group, the level of serum ferritin and the H-reflex latency of tibial nerve were significantly decreased in PD with RLS group ( P＜0.05). Conclusions Secondary RLS is a complication of PD.Deficiency of iron and decreased inhibition function of spinal cord may lead to the occurrence of RLS in PD patients. When their motor symptoms are serious and complications are more common, PD patients are more possible to have RLS symptoms.

Objective The present study was conducted to study the oxidation damage effects of DBP on organs of mice and the molecular mechanisms of the effects. Methods The cells of the organs (liver,kidney,testis,lung) were exposed to different concentration of DBP (0?mol/L,5?mol/L,20?mol/L,80?mol/L) for one hour in vitro,and then the superoxide dismutase (SOD) activities of those cells of different organs were measured. Results With statistical significance,the SOD activities in liver,kidney,testis,lung cells were increased gradually with the increase of DBP concentrations. Conclusion The results suggested that DBP could induce the oxidative damage in liver,lung,kidney and testis cells of mice.

[Objective] To establish a method for the determination of ferulic acid and salvianolic acid B contents in Yixin Tablets. [Methods] High pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) was adopted. The chromatographic conditions were: 100-fold methanol as solvent, Bonification for 30min, gradient elution on C18 comlumn with acetonitrile and phosphoric acid as mobile phase, the detection wavelength being 320nm. [Results] Ferulic acid had a good linearity in the range of 0.024 32 - 0.729 60 ?g and r=0.999 9; salvianolic acid B had a good linearity in the range of 0.416 8-12.504 0?g and r = 0.9999; the average recovery rate was 100.95% in ferulic acid and 99.35% in salvianolic acid B respectively. [Conclusion] This method is simple, accurate and with good reproducibility.

This study was aimed to quickly and accurately identify different origins and categories of commodity edible bird’s nest (EBN) using DNA barcoding technique, in order to reveal its genetic differences. The total genomic DNA was isolated from the EBN samples. And Cytb gene sequences were amplified and sequenced by PCR. Then, 32 sequences were aligned and analyzed with DNAStar and MEGA 6.0 software. NJ phylogenetic tree was constructed. The nearest distance was calculated. The results showed that the original species of 32 samples of EBN were identified.Aerodramus fuciphagus was the genetic origin of 23 white nest samples. AndAerodramus fuciphagus germaniwas the genetic origin of the other 8 samples. The origin of black nest sample wasAerodramus maximusorAerodramus maximus lowi. It was concluded that the genetic origin of different EBN categories was variant. The identification of EBN’s origin species with Cytb sequence was quick and accurate.

ObjectiveTo know urban-rural differences of reference factors for the identification of students from poor families in order to provide references for identifying index system.Methods Questionnaires were used among 708 students from poor families.ResultsThere were 78.9％ urban and 89.1％ rural families whose average earnings were lower than 410 RMB per month.The number of majority urban and rural family (58.8％,75.4％ ) was 4 - 6 ; 77.0％ ( 86.3％ ) urban and 97.3％ (97.9％) rural fathers' ( mothers' ) education levels were high school or below; 8.6％ ( 23.1％ ) urban and 82.3 ％ ( 85.1％ ) rural fathers ( mothers ) were farmers.The proportion of students having computers was 87.2％ (urban) and 7 1.9 ％ (rural) ; 54.9％ urban and 63.9％ rural students' life was not frugal; 85.2％ urban and 79.1％ rural students thought campus cards shouldn't be monitored.ConclusionsThere are significant urban-rural differences of reference factors for the idenffication and family residence is the key indicator which should have higher weights.

Objective To observe the effects of Taohechengqitang combined with danazol on CA125 and gonadal hormone in the treatment of patients with endometriosis.Methods 77 cases from July 2014 to January 2015 in department of obstetrics and gynecology of Daqing Longnan hospital were selected and divided into observation group of 40 cases and control group of 37 cases according to double-blind randomized.The observation group were treated with Taohechengqitang joint danazol treatment, and the control group were treated with danazol alone.The estradiol ( E2 ) , progestogen (P), cancer antigen 125 (CA125), thromboxane B2 (TXB2), endometrial cysts size and dysmenorrheal score pre-and post-treatment between two groups were compared.Results The contents of E2 and P post-treatment in observation group were lower than those in control group (P<0.05).The serum TXB2 and CA125 levels post-treatment in observation group were lower than those in control group (P<0.05).The endometrial cysts size and dysmenorrheal score post-treatment in observation group were lower than those in control group (P<0.05).The total efficacy in observation group was higher than that in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Taohechengqitang combined with Danazol could reduce the CA125, E2 and P levels, relieve symptoms of dysmenorrhea and reduce the cyst volume, whose efficacy is exact.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Honggui capsule combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of lung cancer. Methods 61 cases of lung cancer patients were randomly divided into group A of 30 cases, treated with Honggui Capsule and chemotherapy, and group B of 31 cases treated with chemotherapy only by the envelope method. After both groups were treated for 21 days, the clinical effect, life quality improvement, improvement of TCM symptoms and the incidence of toxic and side effects in 2 groups were compared. Results After treatment, there was significant difference between group A and B in the tumor response rate (26.7% vs. 3.2%; χ2=4.927, P=0.026), Karnofsky (23.3% vs. 3.3%; χ2=5.410, P=0.020), and improvement of TCM symptoms (13.3% vs. 0.0%; χ2=4.423, P=0.035). During treatment, there was significant difference between group A and B in bone marrow suppression (33.3% vs. 58.1%; χ2=4.778, P=0.029), and gastrointestinal disturbance (16.7% vs. 58.1%; χ2=11.124, P=0.001). Conclusion Honggui capsule combined with chemotherapy has an enhanced efficacy and a detoxicating effect, besides it improves clinical symptoms and reduces the side effects of chemotherapy.

Functional gastrointestinal disease is a group of clinical syndrome of non-organic disease. Its various clinical symptoms have a certain specificity and overlap phenomenon, and the mechanism is not clear. TCM believes thatphychological factorsare an important cause. Emotion failurecan effect spleen and stomach functionthrough liver and heart directly or indirectly.At present, the phychological factors and the relationship between functional gastrointestinal disease are getting attentiongradually. It is recognized that the mechanism of phychological factorsmay be related to brain axis dysfunction, mast cell activation, intestinal flora and so on. This article expounded the above-mentioned mechanism and reviewed the detailed TCM intervention measures to functional gastrointestinal disease in recent years.
