1.A clinical research of endoscopic sinus surgery to treat noninvasive fungal sinusitis

Evaluation methods of chronic sinusitis ( Visual Analogue Score and Lund-Kennedy Score) were recom-mended by the 2009 Chinese Medical Association otolaryngology head and neck surgery to nasal Science Group,and retrospective analysis of the functional endoscopic sinus surgery for noninvasive fungal sinusitis treatment effect of 143 patients. VAS of preoperative was 5.8±1.0,postoperative score was 3.9±1.0, 2.4±0.9 after 3 months,6 months, respectively (P<0.01). Lund-Kennedy Score of preoperative was 7.7±2.1, postoperative score was 3.7±1.9, 1.6±1.4 after 3 months,6 months respectively (P<0.01).
2.Effect of Angles of Head Flexion/Extension on Static Sitting Balance in Normal Youth

Objective To investigate the effect of different head flexion/extension angles on static sitting balance in normal youth. Methods34 selected healthy college students were measured with the track length of the centre of gravity under eyes closed, head in a neutral position,flexed in 15°, 30°, 45°, and extended in 15°, 30° (30 s each position). Results the average length from small to big were: head flexedin 30°, neutral position, flexed in 15°, flexed in 45°, extended in 15°, extended in 30°. There was no significant difference among the averagelength when head flexed in 30°, in neutral position and flexed in 15° (P>0.05). Conclusion The static sitting balance is the most whenhead put in neutral position to flexed in 30°, and worst in extended in 30° in healthy youth.
4.Study on the Sterilization Effects on Ganoderma lucidum Hyphae by the Treatment of Ozone

The mortality rate was measured against the time of the treatment of ozone and the variation of ozone concentration. Experiment results indicate that Ganoderma lucidum hyphae could be destroyed completely by ozone and the mortality rate obviously went up with the prolonging of treatment time. The changes of cell form and the fluorescence of hyphae (dyed by acridine orange or not) were observed through biological microscope, laser confocal scanning microscopic imaging system, transmission electron microscope, scanning electron microscope and atom force microscope, and the mechanism of Ganoderma lucidum hyphae (eucaryote) destroyed by ozone was studied.
5.Clinical experiences of laparoscopic common bile duct exploration (60 cases)

6, 39 cases were with 3~6, 13 cases were with the number less than 3. The diameter of stones was 0.5~1.2 cm. Five cases suffered from bile leakage, 2 cases from peritonitis and 2 cases from remnant stones in the common bile duct. Forty-one patients were followed up and doing well. Conclusions Surgical approach is choosen on the basis individually. Laparoscopic common bile duct exploration for gallstone concomittant with choledocholithiasis is safe.
6.EFFECT OF RETINOIC ACID ON DIFFERENTIATION,MATURATION AND FUNCTION OF INTESTINAL DENDRITIC CELL

Objective To investigate the influence of retinoic acid (RA) in differentiation,maturation and function of intestinal dendritic cells (DC),and probe into the effect of Vitamin A (VA) on intestinal mucosal immunity and pathway. Method Rat intestinal mucosa was cultured in vitro,supplemented with all-trans RA and/or retinoid acid receptor ? (RAR?) antagonist (Ro 41-5253). After cultured for 24h and 48h,the surface markers OX62、OX6 and CD86 on DCs were detected by flow cytometry,to observe the effect of RA on differentiation and maturation of DC. The cytokines and RAR? were measured in mRNA levels by RT-PCR to analyze the influence of RA on mucosal immunity and the pathway. Results RA promoted the maturation of DC in mucosa cultured in vitro,and up-regulated RAR? mRNA levels,the changes were marked at 24h. Moreover,when RA was present in the culture,IL-12 and IFN-? (Th1 cytokine) mRNA were reduced,and IL-10 was increased significantly compared with control . However,the actions of RA above can be inversed by Ro 41-5253. Conclusion The modulation of RA on DC could be one of the important mechanisms that VA influences intestinal mucosal immunity. RAR? participates in the regulation of RA on DC.
7.Preparation and Quality Control of Compound Fluorouracil Gel

OBJECTIVE:To prepare compound fluorouracil gel and to establish a method for its quality control.METHODS:Carbomer-940 was used as base material to prepare the compound fluorouracil gel.The content determination of fluorouracil and hydrocortisone was performed by RP-HPLC,and the stability and irritability of this preparation were investigated as well.RESULTS:The gel prepared was well-distributed,with property,identification and tests all in conformity with the description of China Pharmacopeia(2005 edition).The good linear ranges of fluorouracil and hydrocortisone were 0.06~ 0.14mg? mL-1(r=0.999 8)and 0.006~ 0.014mg? mL-1(r=0.999 9),respectively,and the average recovery rates of whi-ch were 100.70%(RSD=0.51%)and 99.88%(RSD=0.83%),respectively.The gel remained stable after storing for 6mo at room temperature away from light,and there was no significant difference in irritability as compared with blank base material.CONCLUSION:The preparation technique of compound fluorouracil gel is simple and practicable,and its quality is reliable.

9.Research on the effect and control of volatile organic compounds to the potential of embryonic development

Objective: To discuss the effect of volatile organic compounds to the potential of embryonic development. From the angle of the laminar flow process, we found ways to control VOCs to ensure that the potential of embryonic development. Methods:To collect the air from the outdoor, laboratory hundred and thousand grade level central corridor three VOCs for testing;we used raw, medium effect filter to replace the original filter and got different results. Results:The indoor VOCs were higher than outdoor;Changes in concentrations of VOCs can affect embryonic development potential. The effect of replaced filter is bigger. After a period of time in a laminar flow system, it gradually getting better and finally change more than before. Conclusion:The embryo laboratory has volatile organic compounds VOCs. VOCs have larger influence on embryonic development potential and can be effectively controlled.
