1.Medical image processing based on wavelet characteristics and edge blur detection.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(3):493-498
To solve the problems of noise interference and edge signal weakness for the existing medical image, we used two-dimensional wavelet transform to process medical images. Combined the directivity of the image edges and the correlation of the wavelet coefficients, we proposed a medical image processing algorithm based on wavelet characteristics and edge blur detection. This algorithm improved noise reduction capabilities and the edge effect due to wavelet transformation and edge blur detection. The experimental results showed that directional correlation improved edge based on wavelet transform fuzzy algorithm could effectively reduce the noise signal in the medical image and save the image edge signal. It has the advantage of the high-definition and de-noising ability.

Chinese Journal of Infection Control 2014;(5):281-283
Objective To explore the clinical effect of intravenous immunoglobulin(IVIG)on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)and fungal infection. Methods Seventy-two COPD patients with fungal infection were randomly and equally divided into conventional and intervention group.Patients in conventional group were treated with common schedule for COPD plus antifungal agents;patients in intervention group received 1 0 g/d IVIG besides routine therapy.Length of hospital stay and prognosis were recorded, and therapeutic effectiveness were evaluated. Results The effectiveness rate of intervention group was significantly higher than that of conventional group ([88.89%,32/36]vs [66.67%,24/36]);the average length of hospital stay was significantly shorter than conven-tional group ([12.62±7.51]d vs [20.81±6.92]d),and mortality was lower than conventional group ([5.56%, 2/36]vs [22.22%,8/36]),the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion IVIG for treating COPD with invasive pulmonary fungal infection can improve therapeutic efficacy, shorten length of hospital stay and decrease mortality rate.

Methods SPSS was used to analyze the general clinical and coronary angiographic data of 113 patients with coronary bypass surgery performed. Results There were 61 patients with coronary chronic total occlusion. 71 sites of coronary chronic total occlusions were observed by coronary angiography, of which, one was located in left main coronary artery (0 9%), 17 in proximal left anterior descending artery (15 0%) , 9 in middle left anterior descending artery (8 0%), 3 in distal left anterior descending artery (2 7%), 5 in proximal left circumflex artery (4 4%), 6 in middle left circumflex artery (5 3%), 3 in distal left circumflex artery (2 7%), 9 in proximal right coronary artery (8 0% ), 10 in middle right coronary artery (8 8% ) and 8 in distal right coronary artery (7 1% ). There were 72 patients with coronary collateral. The coefficient of correlation between collateral and coronary chronic total occlusion was 0 707 (P=0 000 ).Conclusions Coronary chronic total occlusion is frequently located in proximal, middle left anterior descending artery and right coronary artery. There is significantly positive correlation between collateral and coronary chronic total occlusion.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2021;54(3):232-235
Objective:To evaluate the effect of laser irradiation on related growth factors in and apoptosis of in vitro cultured infantile hemangioma endothelial cells. Methods:Cultured infantile hemangioma endothelial cells were divided into 3 groups: intense pulsed light (IPL) group irradiated with IPL at a dose of 23 J/cm 2 for 1 session, laser group irradiated with 1 064-nm Nd:YAG laser at a dose of 90 J/cm 2 for 1 session, control group receiving no irradiation. On days 1, 3 and 7 after irradiation, RT-PCR was performed to measure the mRNA expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) , VEGF receptor 2 (VEGFR-2) and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) , and Western blot analysis to determine VEGFR-2 protein expression, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to detect the levels of VEGF and bFGF in the culture supernatant, and flow cytometry to detect cell apoptosis. Results:Compared with the control group, the laser group showed significantly decreased mRNA expression of VEGF (0.363±0.021 vs. 1.000±0.023, P< 0.001) , VEGFR-2 (0.483±0.017 vs. 1.001±0.031, P=0.001) and bFGF (0.402±0.040 vs. 1.000±0.004, P< 0.001) , decreased VEGFR-2 protein expression (0.332±0.055 vs. 0.768±0.096, P< 0.05) , decreased levels of VEGF (69.389±24.179 ng/L vs. 334.506±13.084 ng/L, P< 0.001) and bFGF (2.386±0.151 ng/L vs. 9.165±0.232 ng/L, P< 0.001) in the culture supernatant, but significantly increased apoptosis rate (18.413%±2.654% vs. 4.300%±0.036%, P< 0.01) on day 7 after irradiation. Compared with the control group, the IPL group also showed significantly decreased mRNA expression of VEGF (0.436±0.041 vs. 1.000±0.023, P< 0.05) , VEGFR-2 (0.493±0.037 vs. 1.001±0.031, P< 0.05) and bFGF (0.490±0.044 vs. 1.000±0.004, P< 0.05) , decreased VEGFR-2 protein expression (0.406±0.037 vs. 0.768±0.096, P< 0.05) , decreased levels of VEGF (128.858±6.063 ng/L vs. 334.506±13.084 ng/L, P< 0.001) and bFGF (2.723±0.471 ng/L vs. 9.165±0.232 ng/L, P< 0.001) in the culture supernatant, but significantly increased apoptosis rate (16.597%±1.877% vs. 4.300%±0.036%, P< 0.01) on day 7 after irradiation. Conclusion:The 1 064-nm Nd:YAG laser may exert a therapeutic effect on hemangioma by inhibiting hemangioma endothelial cells via regulating key factors on the VEGF/VEGFR-2 signaling pathway and cell apoptosis.

Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2016;51(18):1569-1571
OBJECTIVE: To study the potential targets and action mechanism of apatinib-treated breast cancer. METHODS: Combination with bioinformatic analysis, PharmMapper reverse docking technology was used to predict potential targets of apatinib and docking was performed using Autodock 4. 0 to examine the interaction of aptinib wih predicted protein targets. RESULTS: Cell division protein kinase 2,GTPase HRas, NONE and cytochrome P450 2C9 were found to be the potential targets of apatinib-treated breast cancer. Stable hydrogen bonds were formed between apatinib and the four predicted targets, and the binding free energy was low. CONCLUSION: Apatinib maybe participate the functional regulation or biological action of cell division protein kinase 2, GTPase HRas, NONE and Cytochrome P4502C9 to treat breast cancer, which provides a theoretical basis and a clue for further exploration of the mechanism research of apatinib-treated breast cancer.

To explore how to assess objectively the effect of swallowing treatment by a case study of one female patient with nasopharynx cancer after radiotherapy; the swallowing treatment include: dilatation of cricopharyngeal muscle (total 44 times), larynx raising method, tongue base exercises and acupuncture [main aperture:Jin-jin, Yuye(EX-HN12), Lianquan(CV23), Fengchi(GB20), Yamen(GV15), Baihui(GV20)], mainly using the videofluoroscopy to testify curative effect; the results demonstrated the duration of swallowing thick barium (270% w/v) including oral transit time plus pharyngeal transit time shortened 14.3%, distance of larynx raising increased 36.7%, oral and pharyngeal residue reduced 10% compared with that before treatment, all these data totally explained the swallowing function improved a little, but not significantly. The research testify the measuring parameter with videofluoroscopy can be used to assess the swallowing function and curative effect objectively.
