Objective :
To investigate the mediating effect of negative emotions on visual impairment and resilience among middle-aged and elderly populations, so as to provide insights into improving psychological health among middle-aged and elderly populations.
Methods:
Demographic information, visual impairment, negative emotions and resilience in the residents at ages of 45 years and older were collected through the database of the Yushu Physical and Mental Health Survey carried out by Institute of Psychology of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Structural equation model was used to analyze the effects of visual impairment and resilience and the mediating role of negative emotions.
Results:
Totally 2 997 middle-aged and elderly populations were enrolled, with the median age of 50.00 (interquartile range, 47.00) years. There were 1 320 males (44.04%) and 1 677 females (55.96%), 1 627 illiterate persons (54.29%), and 2 780 married persons (92.76%). The scores of visual impairment, negative emotions and resilience were (6.79±2.59), (6.35±3.05) and (33.38±10.41) points, respectively. The results of structural equation model analysis showed that after adjusting for age, gender, educational level and marital status, visual impairment had a direct negative positive effect on resilience, with a direct effect value of -0.157 (95%CI: -0.177 to -0.137), and visual impairment could also negatively affect residence through negative emotions, with a mediating effect value of -0.112 (95%CI: -0.126 to -0.104), and the mediating effect contributed 41.64% to the total effect.
Conclusion
visual impairment could reduce residence directly or indirectly through the mediating effect of negative emotions among middle-aged and elderly populations.

Objective To study the effect of chronic restraint stress on the expressions of Bax, Bcl-2, Fas and FasL in hippocampus of the offsprings during the pregnancy. Methods Restraint stress was performed three times each day of pregnant women from day 13 to day 19 (each time for 45min). After delivery, the expression of Bax, Bcl-2, Fas and FasL in hippocampus of one-month-old female and male rats were respectively examined by immunohistochemical method. Results Compared with the control group, the expression level of Bax in stressed group is higher (P 0.05). Conclusion Restraint stress during the pregnancy can upgrade the expression of Bax and degrade the expression of Bcl-2 of the offsprings; no effect was found on the expressions of Fas and FasL of the offsprings.

Objective To determine the effect of chronic restraint stress during the late pregnancy on the behavior parameters of learning and memory of the rat offspring. Methods Stress was inflicted each day of pregnancy from day 13 to day 20. Pregnant females were individually restrained for 45 min three times a day. After delivery, one-month-old and three-month-old female and male rats were examined in Morris water maze to analyze the effect of exposure to prenatal restraint stress on the spatial learning and memory. Results In comparison to the control group, the latency to find the platform in the prenatally stressed group was significantly prolonged in both one-month-old and three-month-old offsprings (P

Objective To study the diagnosis and radical resection of hilar cholangiocarcinoma. Methods Retrospective analysis was made on the clinical feature and the effect of radical resection on 38 cases of hilar cholangiocarcinomas. Results Diagnosis was made in all of the patients preoperatively. The radical resection was perfomed on 38 patients.Of them, 3(7.9%) died after operation. After operation, 5 cases (13.2%) developed bile leakage, and 2 of the 5 cases developed subphrenic abscess, which were cured by drainage; 4(10.5%) had right hydrothorax that was cured by conservative therapy; and 3(7.9%)had incision split that was cured by resuture. Among the 35 postoperative survivors,34 (97.1%) were followed up, the 1- and 3-year survival rates were 91.9% and 35.2%.None of the patients survived for 5 years. Conclusions It′s still difficult to make early diagnosis in hilar cholangiocarcinoma. The diagnosis mainly depends on the combination of imaging examinations. Nowadays the radical resection rate of hilar cholangiocarunoma is still low, the recurrence and metastasis are common after operation, and few patients can survive for a long time. It suggests that even in radical operation for hilar cholangiocarcinoma, the regions of resection and sweep are not enough, and the operative procedure needs to improve further.

Objective: To evaluate economic benefits of military medical measurement. Methods: According to the record of the metrological verification from the measurement station in Nanjing military region from 2000 to 2004, database is set up by Excel 2003 and the economic benefits from 14 kinds of measuring standard are analyzed. Results In a 5-year-lifetime cycle, the NPV of 10 kinds of measuring standards were over 0, 4 kinds less than 0, the average pay back period was 4.43year, and total benefit cost ratio was 2.73. Conclusion Economic benefits have been gained obviously in the investment of military medical measurement.

This paper aims to establish an evaluation target system on military medical measurement so as to increase effectiveness of metrological management on military medicine. According to evaluation method of modern industry measurement, principles of engineering economy and quality requirement of health service, such relative evaluation targets as normal military medical evaluation target, health service department evaluation target and economic effect evaluation target are expounded and proved. This system has a valuable reference to the evaluation of military.medical measurement
