1.Comparison and Analysis of Irinotecan Alone or Combined with Xiaoaiping in the Treatment of Elderly Pa-tients with Advanced Gastric Cancer

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate therapeutic efficacy and safety of chemotherapy combined with Xiaoaiping injection in the treatment of elderly patients with advanced gastric cancer. METHODS:60 elderly patients with advanced gastric cancer were collected from our department during 2012-2014,and then divided into union group and single group with 30 cases in each group. Single group was given irinotecan(CPT-11)150 mg/m2 added into 0.9%Sodium Chloride injection,and union group was addition-ally given Xiaoaiping injection 80 ml,qd,on the basis of single group. A treatment course lasted for 14 days,and both groups re-ceived 4 courses of treatment. The tumor markers,disease single rate,progression-free survival (PFS) and the incidence of ADR were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:After treatment,the levels of CEA,CA199 and CA242 in 2 groups were significant-ly lower than before;the union group was significantly lower than the single group,with statistical significance(P<0.05). The dis-ease single rate of union group was 70.00%,which was significantly higher than that of single group (33.33%). PFS of union group was(11.23±2.17)months,which was significantly longer that of single group [(9.36±0.84)months],with statistical signif-icance(P<0.05). The incidence of leucopenia,alanine aminotransferase elevation,diarrhea,stomatitis and hand-foot syndrome in union group was significantly lower than in single group,with statistical significance(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Xiaoaiping in-jection combined with irinotecan chemotherapy for advanced gastric cancer has obvious effect with a low incidence of ADR.
2.Use of the Nickel-Titanium patella concentrator in surgical treatment of patellar fracture

Objective To discuss the application value of the Nickel-Titanium patella concentrator(NT-PC) in surgical treatment of patellar fracture.Methods A retrospective analysis was made on clinical data of 32 cases of patellar fracture treated with the NT-PC in this hospital from January 2001 to December 2003.Results Re-examination of radiography at 12 weeks after surgery showed bone union was achieved in all the cases,with a smooth patellofemoral articular surface.The patella was preserved completely in all the comminuted fracture cases.According to the Lu's criteria,excellent and good outcomes were achieved in 26 and 6 cases,respectively,the rate of excellent or good results being 100%.The NT-PC was removed at 4 months ~ 2 years(mean,14 months) postoperatively without complications.Conclusions Application of NT-PC in the treatment of patellar fracture can preserve the comminuted patella completely,facilitate the reduction and fixation of the patellofemoral articular surface,and make early postoperative motions available.It is worthy of being recommended.
3.The progress of study on human CD5+B cells

CD5+ B cells are derived from early stage precursors independently on bone marrow. It is an important subtype of B cells. Abnormalities of number and function of CD5+ B cells are found in several kinds of autoimmune diseases and B lymphocyte malignancies. Recently,the abnormalities are also found in AIDS,hepatitis, schizophrenia and the regeneration of liver cells, which indicates that CD5+ B cell may have extensively clinical significance.
4.Variety of molecular mechanisms of cisplatin in the treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma

5.EIF6 delays the kidney interstitial tissue fibrosis process by regulating the expression of TGF-β1

Objective To investigate the possible role of eukaryotic initiation factor 6(eIF6)in the development of kidney inter-stitial tissue fibrosis in a mouse model of unilateral ureteral obstruction(UUO).Methods (1)UUO model was set up in eIF6+/-and eIF6+/+ mice.(2)HE and Masson staining were used to histologically assess the interstitial deposition of collagen in mouse kidney.Immunohistochemistry and image analysis were applied to analyze the expression of α-SMA and TGF-β1 in mouse kidney as well as eIF6 in human kidney samples.Results 10 days after unilateral ureteral obstruction,more kidney interstitial fibrosis tissues were found in eIF6+/- mice than that in eIF6+/+ mice.TGF-β1 andα-SMA were expressed more intensive in tubular epithelial cells of eIF6+/- mice than that of eIF6+/+ mice in the UUO model.Expression of eIF6 is lower in the region of fibrosis than that in non-fibrotic area.Conclusion eIF6 might be involved in the development of kidney interstitial tissue fibrosis by regulating the expres-sion of TGF-β1 .
6.An investigation of human brucellosis infection in Qi County of Shanxi Province in 2010-2012

Objective To analyze the status of human brucellosis infection in Qi County.Methods From 2010 to 2012,by using Rose Bengal plate agglutination test (RBPT) and standard tube agglutination test(SAT),serological detection was conducted in suspected brucellosis cases and risk populations occupational exposed to Brucella,including livestock traders,slaughters,raisers,milkmaids and veterinary in Qi County.The sex distribution,time distribution,occupation and age distribution were analyzed.Brucella were isolated from patients in acute stage by blood culture,and serotypos were determined by traditional identification method.Results From 2010 to 2012,977 people were examined; 273 people were serological positive(27.9%) ; male[31.6%(232/735)] was higher than female[16.9%(41/242),P < 0.05].March to August were the peak seasons in every yeas.Most of the patients were engaged in farming,aged from 21 to 60 years old.Eleven strains of Brucella Melitensis biotype 3 were isolated in 30 cases of blood culture samples.Conclusions The incidence of human brucellosis is increasing year by year in Qi County.Infected people are mostly young men.It is necessary to strengthen health education,increase the awareness of self protection in order to reduce the occurrence of brucellosis.
7.Research on the compensation mechanism in public hospitals practicing the zero price margin for drugs

The paper analyzed the compensation mechanism applied in public hospitals in different localities in China,which are currently experimenting with the zero price margin for drugs.It also introduced the revenue variations resulting from this practice.It is discovered that public hospitals can hardly make their ends meet with merely governmental financial input,and that lowered income of doctors and price distortion arc evident in those experimental hospitals,with little progress in overcoming the subsidization of medical services with drug sales.The authors recommended a comprehensive reform,the mechanism of diversified health input,change of internal incentive mechanism within the hospital,improvement in the healthcare service pricing mechanism,and exploration of new operation mechanisms for public hospitals.
8.The role of IL-12 and CpG as adjuvants on the immune responses of antigen-specific CD4~+T cells in vivo

Objective:To evaluate the role of IL-12 and CpG as adjuvants to promote the differentiation of antigen-specific CD4~+T cells in vivo.Methods:Naive OVA-TCR-Tg CD4~+T cells were isolated from spleens and lymph nodes of DO11.10 mice.The cells were labeled with CFSE in vitro and then were adoptively transferred into normal mice.One day after transfer,mice were immunized i.v.either with OVA,OVA+IL-12 or OVA+CpG.3 days post transfer,single cell suspensions were prepared from spleens,lymph nodes and lungs.The proliferation and IFN-? expression of transferred CD4~+T cells in different tissues were assessed by FACS.Results:No proliferation of antigen-specific CD4~+T cells was observed in the absence of immunization.After immunization with OVA for 3 days,cells were proliferated.The frequency of IFN-? producing cells in spleens,lymph nodes and lungs was at a range of 0.93%~2.17%.IL-12 promoted IFN-?~+ cells(4.53%~26.79%);Moreover,CpG enhanced the frequency of IFN-?-producing cells(3.84%) by the cells only from lymph nodes.In consistent with the results reported previously,cells divided 3-5 times revealed higher frequency of IFN-?-producing cells than the rest of them.Conclusion:IL-12 and CpG as adjuvants can promote the differentiation and expression of IFN-? by antigen-specific CD4~+T cells,and thus mediate cellular immune responses.
9.Research on Relationship Between Self-esteem Structure and Mental Health

Objective: To explore the relationship between individual's self-esteem structure and mental health. Methods: 136 middle school students were tested with Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale(SES), Implicit Association Test(IAT), Adolescent Self-rating Life Events Checklist(ASLEC) and Mental Health Test-CR(MHT-CR). Results: Compared with implicit self-esteem, explicit self-esteem correlates moderately to mental health. Results of hierarchical multiple regression with metal health as the dependent variables showed that explicit self-esteem, negative life events, explicit self-esteem?implicit self-esteem interaction, implicit self-esteem?negative life events interaction, and explicit self-esteem?implicit self-esteem?negative life events interaction is significant. Conclusion: This research supports the view that implicit and explicit self-esteem are distinct mental structures. Individual's self-esteem structure affects the relationship between negative life events and mental health.
10.Effects of Yangling Surface Water on Frequency of Micronucleus in Root-tip Cell of Vicia faba

Objective To study basically the toxicity of Yangling surface water. Methods Research the toxicities of the water samples through seedling cultivation experiment and the micronucleus test of Vicia faba root tip cell with original wastewater, diluted by 50% and diluted by 25%. Results The results showed that the water had mutagenesis ability, meanwhile, there was a significant dose-response relationship between the amount of micronucleus and water concentration. And the results showed that Houhe pollution is the worst,then Gaogan River and Weihui River were next, and Wei River is the last. Conclusion The surface water of the investigated area has some potential adverse effects on the health of local people and land irrigation,so more attention should paid to the control and management of contamination.
