1.The effect of 5-HT on the pulmonary arterial pressure of rabbits while injected of 5-HT into lateral ventricle of brain or vein

The change of Psa and Ppa was observed during injection of 5-HT into the lateral ventricle of brain or the auricular vein of anesthetized rabbits. Increase of Ppa and decrease of Psa were found after injection through auricular vein. On the contrary, while 5-HT was injected into lateral ventricule there were increased of Psa and decreased of Ppa. The responses of Ppa induced by 5-HT injecting into lateral ventricle might be related to the transmission of vagus and the action of Ach. The opiumnoid substances might take part in the change of Ppa and Psa while 5-HT was injected into lateral ventricle of brain.

3.Effects of placental isoferritin on the mouse embryo development in vitro.

To investigate the effect of placental isoferritin (PLF) on mouse embryo development in vitro, mice 2-cell embryos were co-cultured with human first trimester decidual cells at different concentrations of PLF in vitro. The following changes of the above system were observed under an invert microscope and the number of embryos were recorded and the embryos were classified. The results showed there was no significant difference in the percentage of embryos development to 4-cell, 8-cell and morula (P>0.05). PLF at the doses of 10 and 100 U/mL significantly enhanced more embryos development to the blastocyst and hatching blastocyst (P<0.05). PLF at the dose of 1000 U/mL depressed more embryos development from 2-cell to hatching blastocyst, meanwhile such phenomena as cell degeneration and irregular cleavage were observed in part of embryos, but there was no significant difference in statistics (P>0.05). It was concluded that PLF at the concentration of 10-100 U/mL had no significant effects on the early development of mice embryos, however, PLF could promote the growth, differentiation, and hatching of preimplantation blastocysts.

4.Effects of epidural ropivacaine labor analgesia on duration of labor and mode of delivery

Objective To study the effects of ropivacaine on the duration of labor and mode of delivery in the primigravidas using patient-controlled epidural analgesia (PCEA). Methods Retrospective analysis was performed. The 190 healthy, full-term, and single-fetus parturient primigravidas who received PCEA with 0.1% ropivacaine+fentanyl (1 ?g/ml ) were in the epidural analgesia group. Another 222 primigravidas who didnot receive PCEA were in the control group. The duration of labor and modes of delivery, and the neonatal Apgar scores in both two groups were recorded and evaluated. Results Those in the epidural analgesia group experienced a significantly longer first stage [(426?161) minutes], longer second stage [(54?27) minutes] and longer full duration of delivery [(489?166) minutes] than those in the control one [(409?170) minutes, (364?167) minutes and (37?22) minutes]. The rate of using pitocin in the epidural analgesia group (30.2 %) was significantly higher than that in the control group (4.1%). The cesarean section rate in epidural analgesia group (20.0 %) was lower than that in the control one (28.4%); while the rate of instrumental delivery in the epidural analgesia group (20.0%) was significantly higher than that in the control one (6.3%). In summary, there were significant differences between two groups in the duration of labor, the rate of using pitocin, the rate of instrumental delivery and the rate of cesarean section. But there were no differences found for those newborn who had Apgar scores less than 7 at the point of both one and five minutes (7.9% and 4.5%, 2.6% and 0.5% respectively). Conclusion Epidural ropivacaine labor analgesia lengthens the duration of labor and increases the rate of instrumental delivery, but it has no significant negative effects on the neonates.

Objective To explore the role of the autoantibodies against angiotensinⅡ type 1 receptor (ATR-1) in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia. Methods Forty normotensive and 46 pregnant women with preeclampsia were recruited in this study. Synthesized ATR-1 polypeptide fragment was used as antigens to screen the autoantibodies against ATR-1 by ELISA. The level of angiotensinⅡ was also examined. The expression of Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) in neonatal cord blood mononuclear cells (MNCs) and serum TNF-α were investigated in order to explore the roles of TLR4 in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia. The study enrolled 27 patients suffering from preeclampsia (experimental group) and 21 normal pregnancy patients (control group). After MNCs were separated, the expression of TLR4 mRNA and protein was detected by using real-time quantitative PCR and Western blotting respectively, and the expression of TNF-α by using ELISA. The results showed the TLR4 mRNA level in cord blood MNCs (2(-ΔCT): 0.07±0.17), TLR4 protein expression level (absorbance ratio: 0.81%±0.15%) and TNF-α level (9.5±1.73 pg/mL) were all increased in experimental group as compared with control group with the differences being statistically significant (P<0.05). There was a positive correlation between the expression of TLR4 mRNA and TNF-± in both experimental group and control group (r=0.54 and 0.53, respectively, P<0.05). It was concluded that TLR4 expression in the experimental group of cord blood MNCs was increased and there was a positive correlation between the expression of TLR4 mRNA and TNF-α in both groups. TLR4-mediated release of inflammatory cytokines may be one of the important reasons leading to preeclampsia.
7.Experience of transurethral resection of prostate for larger prostatic hyperplasia

Objective To explore the safety and effectiveness of transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) for large benign prostatic hyperplasia.Methods A total of 56 cases of patients with large benign prostatic hyperplasia were analyzed retrospectively.Results The weight of prostate tissue resected with TURP was 60.2 g (48-122 g).The resection rate was 60%,operation time 113.4 min (70-180 min).The lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) after TURP was improved significantly.The international prostate symptom scores (IPSS) of 38 cases were decreased from (25.6±1.5) before operation to (6.0± 2.0) after operation.The maximum urine flow rate were increased from (5.0±1.9) ml/s to (18.0±4.5) ml/s.The mean residual urine volume of 22 cases were reduced from 95 ml (40-250 ml) to 10 ml (0-60 ml).Conclusions Skilled TURP technology for large benign prostatic hyperplasia is a safe treatment with good effect and low complications rates.
8.The association of urinary albumin excretion with fibrinolytic activity in patients with type 2 diabetes

Objective To examine the relationship between UAE and fibrinolytic activity in patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods 129 type 2 diabetic patients recruited and subgrouped by UAE,and the UAE,FBS,lipids,renal function and the activity of t-PA and PAI-1 were conducted in these patients and 40 health people.Results Compared to control group,the activity of PAI-1 was increased and the activity of t-PA decreased dramaticlly in type 2 diabetic group(P<0.05);there was significant difference in the ratio of PAI-1 and t-PA between three diabetic groups(P<0.05),of three group the ratio of PAI-1 and t-PA was most highest in the patients with macroal buminuria,and simple correlation analysis showed positive correlation between UAE and the ratio of PAI-1 and t-PA,especially in the patients with microalbuminuria(r=0.321,P<0.05).Conclusion The UAE is closely relatedto fibrinolytic activity in patients type 2 diabetes.
9.Experimental comparison of the antitussive and expectorant effects of seven traditional Chinese medicine compounds in mice

Objective In order to screen effective traditional Chinese medicine compounds to prevent and control porcine respiratory disease syndrome ( PRDC) , seven compound preparations of traditional Chinese medicine were tested and to analyze their antitussive and expectorant effects in mice .Methods Two hundred 6-week old ICR mice ( male∶fe-male=1∶1) were used in this study .Dextromethorphan and ammonium chloride were used as positive control drugs , and physiological saline was used as blank control .The antitussive and expectorant effects of the seven Chinese medicine com-pounds (groups 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) were observed by ammonia-induced cough model and tracheal phenol red secretion method in mice .Results The results showed that compounds 7 and 5 significantly prolonged the cough incubation period (P <0.05), and reduced the cough times within 5 min (P <0.05).Except for the group 4, tracheal phenol red excre-tion in the other groups was significantly lower than that of blank control group (P <0.05), and phenol red excretion in the mice of groups 7, 5 and ammonium chloride group was significantly lower than that in other treatment groups ( P <0.05).Conclusions The Chinese medicine compounds 5 and 7 show most evident expectorant effects , and worthy of fur-ther validation of them as a drug in the treatment of porcine respiratory disease syndrome .
10.Early Screening and Precise Treatment of Clopidogrel Resistance Based on CYP2C19 Gene Polymorphism

Objective To screen patients with clopidogrel resistance and develop accurate anti-platelet therapy strategies based on CYP2C19 gene polymorphism.Methods A total of 200 patients with acute coronary syndrome/percutaneous coronary angioplasty were selected.The pyrophosphate sequencing technology was using to detect CYP2C19 gene polymorphism for identifying clopidogrel poor metabolizers and guide antiplatelet therapy according to the development of clopidogrel resistance strategies.Results The proportion of patients with clopidogrel resistance (including intermediate metabolizers and slow metabolizers) was about 63.5%.In clopidogrel intermediate metabolizers, 41.4% cases were applied double dosages of clopidogrel and about 20.2% patients were given ticagrelor instead of clopidogrel.For clopidogrel slow metabolizers, approximately 39.3% cases were given doubled dosage of clopidogrel and 46.4% cases were given ticagrelor.Compared with previous data, the proportion of individual treatment of clopidogrel resistance was significantly increased in this study.Conclusion The strategies for the treatment of clopidogrel resistance, which based on the polymorphism of CYP2C19 gene, have been achieved initial success.
