1.Selenoprotein S1: A novel inflammatory gene
Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2007;32(5):723-725
Selenoprotein S1 (SEPS1) , a novel gene involved in the stress response of endoplasmic reticulum and inflammation control. Recent results provide a direct mechanistic link between SEPS1 and the production of inflammatory cytokines, suggesting SEPS1 may play a major role in the mediation of inflammation in IDDM and some other immunological disorders.

5.Clinical observation on treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children by modified San'ao Decoction combined with Azithromycin
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(6):76-77,80
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Sangao Decoction combined with Azithromycin in the treatment of mycoplasmal pneumonia in children.MethodsFrom August 2013 to August 2014, 76 children with mycoplasma pneumonia were enrolled in this study. The patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The control group was treated with azithromycin alone, and the observation group was given the treatment of Sanao Decoction on the basis of the control group.Comparison of the two groups of clinical efficacy, fever time, cough time, tonsil disappearance time, lung rales disappear time, length of stay and the incidence of adverse reactions.ResultsThe effective rate was 94.37% in the observation group and 76.32% in the control group, which was statistically significant (P<0.05).(2.45±0.90) d, duration of coughing (5.37±1.67) d, duration of disappearance of tonsil (6.23±2.47) d, disappearance of rales (7.18±1.58) d, duration of hospital stay (10.26±1.65) d were shorter than the control group, which was statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was not statistically significant.ConclusionThe effect of Sangao Decoction combined with azithromycin in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children can significantly shorten the symptoms and signs of the patients, the time of disappearance of the signs and the length of hospital stay, promote the rapid recovery of children, high safety, and have good clinical application value.
6.Effect and safety of gamma globulin combined with glucocorticoid pulse therapy on serum CRP in children with refractory mycoplasma pneumonia
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(4):26-27,30
Objective To investigate the effect of gamma globulin combined with glucocorticoid pulse therapy in the treatment of children with refractory mycoplasma pneumonia in CRP and safety. Methods 46 cases of children with refractory mycoplasma pneumonia from February 2012 to February 2016 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and experimental group,23 cases in each group. On the basis of the regular treatment, the control group was given azithromycin,10mg/kg,qd,intravenous drip,on the basis of the control group treatment, the experimental group was treated with methylprednisolone 2mg/kg+human immunoglobulin 400mg/kg,qd,intravenous drip. The levels of serum C-reactive protein(CRP),white blood cell count(WBC),lymphocyte count(LC),therapeutic efficiency and safety were measured before and after treatment. Results After treatment, compared with the control group, the serum levels of CRP、WBC、LC were lower in the experimental group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment efficiency of the experimental group(91.31%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(65.22%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups. Conclusion The gamma globulin combined with glucocorticoid pulse therapy can significantly reduce the serum levels of CRP,WBC and LC in children with refractory mycoplasma pneumonia, improve clinical efficacy and the safety were good.
7.Influence of granulocyte-colony stimulating factor combined with adrenocortical steroid and/or immunosuppressants on immune system of donor mice during hematopoietic stem cell mobilization
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2000;0(11):-
Objective:To explore the influence of granulocyte-colony stimulating factor(G-CSF) combined with adrenocortical steroid and/or immunosuppressants on immune system of donor mice during hematopoietic stem cell mobilization. Methods: The donor C57BL/6 mice were divided into 4 groups according to the mobilization strategies, namely, the G-CSF group((250 ?g/kg) for 4 days),G-CSF(250 ?g/kg for 4 days) + methylprednisolone group(100 mg/kg on day 3),G-CSF((250 ?g/kg) for 4 days) + methylprednisolone group(100 mg/kg on day 3) + cyclosporine A(100 mg/kg on day 3),and PBS control group. The post-mobilization T lymphocytes of C57BL/6 mice and the splenocytes of BALB/c mice were subjected to mixed lymphocyte reactions(MLR).The levels of IFN-?,IL-4,and TGF-?_(1) were determined in the supernatants of donor mice splenocytes by ELISA method and the mRNA levels of IFN-? and IL-4 were determined by RT-PCR.Results: The results showed that the MLR-inhibitory activities in the 3(G-CSF) mobilized groups were 42%,21%, and 39%,respectively;all lower than that in PBS control group(68%).IFN-? levels in the 3 G-CSF mobilized groups were lower than that in PBS control group, but he levels of IL-4 and TGF-?_(1)were significantly higher than those in PBS group(P
8.Effect of human factor Ⅸ intron 1 inserted in forward orientation into retroviral vectors on expression of factor Ⅸ in muscle cells
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2001;0(09):-
Objective:To investigate the effects of human factor Ⅸ (FⅨ) intron 1 inserted in forward orientation into retroviral vector on the expression of FⅨ in muscle cells. Methods: Two FⅨ mini-genes, FⅨm1 and FⅨm2, were inserted in forward orientation into retroviral vector backbone, LⅨSN, constructing 2 vectors named LⅨm1SN and LⅨm2SN, containing shortened intron of 1.4 and 0.3 kb, respectively. Retrovirus was made by transfecting PA317 packaging cells. Transient and stable expression of FⅨ was tested in SCID mouse muscle cells (SCID-MB). Results: The vector titers and expression levels of LⅨm1SN and LⅨm2SN in SCID-MB were 1 to 2 folds higher than that of LⅨSN. Some SCID-MB colonies transfected with LⅨm2SN contained intact FⅨm2 inton elements, suggesting that splicing of virus mRNA may not be complete in packaging cells. Conclusion: FⅨ intron 1 inserted in forward orientation in retroviral vectors can increase retroviral titer and the expression level of FⅨ in muscle cells.

10.Advance on vitamin D in the pathogenesis of autism spectrum disorders
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2021;36(2):158-160
Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a kind of neurodevelopmental disorder.Despite the high prevalence of ASD, no definite pathogenesis of ASD has yet been elucidated to date.Accumulating evidence indicated that the pathogenesis of ASD may be related to genetic, environmental and immune factors.Studies has been shown that vitamin D(Vit D)deficiency is negatively correlated with the prevalence of ASD, and that supplementation with Vit D may reduce the risk of ASD.Because of the extensive physiological functions of Vit D, it can act as a steroid hormone in multiple aspects such as genetic, environment and immune profiles.Meanwhile, the genetic, environmental and immune changes could also affect the metabolism and function of Vit D, and vice versa. Therefore, Vit D deficiency probably lead to the development of ASD.This review focuses on the relationship between Vit D and environmental, genetic and immune factors of ASD.
