t affect the near stereopsis, showing that increasing vertical fusion range shouled be a compensation for maintaining the binocular vision caused by vertical deviation.

Objective To understand the serological detection of suspected measles cases in Xicheng District of Beijing,and provide basis for monitoring and prevention of measles.Methods Detection results of 200 blood speci-mens and age distribution of suspected measles cases in Xicheng District of Beijing in 2011 -2014 were analyzed. Results The positive rate of serological detection of suspected measles cases in 2011-2014 was 32.50%(65/200);positive rates in each year were 12.00%,4.35%,33.90%,and 44.09% respectively;there was significant differ-ence in the positive rate of serological tests in different years(P <0.001).Of 200 cases,65 were <5 years old,and 97 were >24 years old,positive rates of serological detection were 35.38% and 34.02% respectively;31 cases (15.50%)received vaccination of measles;vaccine coverage rate in IgM antibody positive cases was lower than IgM antibody negative cases (3.08% vs 21 .48%,P <0.001 ).Conclusion Positive rate of serological detection de-creased in 2012,then increased year by year,for children under 5 years,measles are controlled by immunization with measles vaccine,in order to achieve the goal of eliminating measles effectively,control and prevention of adult measles is of great significance.

Objective To analyze the requirements of the Chinese PLA biosecurity and disease prevention and to develop an Internet information tracking system for infectious disease surveillance .Methods A focused crawler was used to automatically collect Internet information about infectious diseases before the information could be released , automatically correlated and analyzed .Results This system could claw the Internet information of infectious disease surveillance and build an infectious disease surveillance information knowledge database .Conclusion The use of this system can not only improve the efficiency of information studies , but also meet the information requirements of infectious disease prevention in Chinese PLA.

Objective To establish a GC method for simultaneous determine of camphor, borneol and bornyl acetate in Shenling Baizhu Powder. Methods Capillary column was used with 100% methyl polysiloxane as stationary phase. The temperature-programmed was as follows:starting temperature of 60 ℃, 5 ℃/min, rose to 130 ℃, kept for 5 minutes, followed by 20 ℃/min up to 230 ℃, and kept for 5 minutes. Results The average recovery rate of camphor was 99.87%, RSD was 1.3%, and good linear relationship was showed in the range of 0.003 77-0.150 8 μg (r=0.999 9). The average recovery of borneol was 100.71%, RSD was 2.1%, and good linear relationship was showed in the range of 0.002 411-0.096 4 μg (r=0.999 9). The average recovery rate of bornyl acetate was 101.95%, RSD was 1.3%, and good linear relationship was showed in the range of 0.003 02-0.121 1 μg (r=0.999 9). Conclusion The method is simple, reliable, accurate, and can effectively control the quality of Amomi Fructus in Shenling Baizhu Powder.

Objective To establish a military disease prevention and control website to achieve dissemination of disease control information , resource sharing , business communication in the whole army , and popularize relevant knowledge of disease prevention and control promotion among the troops .Methods Based on the content management system and meta-data repository platform,B/S system architecture, JSP,MySQL and other programming techniques and tools were used to complete the system development .Results The military disease prevention and control website we designed has been for-mally launched ,which was able to implement a set of functions such as content distribution , full-text retrieval ,classification and aggregation of knowledge , online consultation .Conclusion This website plays a positive role in enhancing military prevention and control ,popularizing relevant laws and regulations ,meeting the health needs of the army soldiers and impro-ving the ability of disease prevention in grass-roots units.

OBJECTIVE To discuss the management methods of sputum sample retained clinically based on the praxiology,and aim at improving the quality of the sputum retained. METHODS Through investigating the quality of sputum sample retained routinely from the department of internal medicine in a general hospital at the duration from Sep 2004 to Feb 2005,the intervention effect was evaluated by carrying out the measure of praxiology intervention. RESULTS The qualification rate was 23.7% for the sputum sample retained routinely from the hospital at the duration from Sep 2004 to Feb 2005,after carrying out the measure of praxiology intervention,the qualification rate was 30.1% at the duration from Apr 2005 to Aug 2005.Statistic data showed that there was no significant difference. CONCLUSIONS The quality of the sputum sample retained routinely is poor,and the measure of praxiology intervention failed to improve the quality of the sputum sample.Microscopy is the most important measure to ensure the quality of the sputum sample for the cytology test before cultivating the sample,and should be a routine test in hospital.The study on praxiology intervention will be further carried out in the future.

Objective To investigate the correlation of serum periostin and severe degree of dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM) in children.Methods Thirty-two children with DCM from Jan.2009 to Jun.2013 in First Hospital Affiliated to Jilin University were selected as DCM group.Then these children were divided into 0-2 score group (n =6),3-6 score group (n =7),7-9 score group (n =11),and 10-12 score group (n =8) according to Ross standardization.Twenty healthy children in the same period were selected as control group.Meanwhile,the levels of serum periostin were detected by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,the levels of serum creatine kinase-MB(CK-MB)were detected by adopting immunosuppressive method,while left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD) were observed by using uhrasonography.The data in various groups were compared and the relationship between serum periostin and ROSS,LVEF was analyzed by performing linear regression analysis.Results 1.Compared with control group,the level of serum periostin in DCM group was significantly increased,and the difference was significant (P =0.00).The serum periostin level increased with the increase of ROSS score increase,and there were significant differences among the different ROSS score groups (all P ＜ 0.05).2.Compared with control group,the level of serum CK-MB in DCM group was significantly increased,the difference was significant (P =0.00) ;while the serum CK-MB levels had no significant difference among the different ROSS score groups(all P＞0.05).3.Compared with control group,the level of LVEF in DCM group was significantly decreased,the differences was significantly(P =0.00) ; and the LVEF level decreased with the ROSS score increase,there were significant differences among the different ROSS score groups(all P ＜ 0.05).4.Compared with control group,the level of LVEDD in DCM group was significantly enlarged,and the difference was significant(P =0.00) ; but the LVEDD had no significant differences among the different ROSS score groups (all P ＞ 0.05).5.Significantly positive correlation was found between the level of serum periostin and ROSS score (r =0.742,P ＜ 0.001).There was no obvious correlation between the level of serum periostin and CK-MB(r =0.247,P ＞ 0.05).There was negative correlation between the level of serum periostin and LVEF (r =-0.424,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions The level of serum periostin is positively correlated with ROSS score and has negative correlation with LVEF.It may provide a useful index in the assessment of symptomatic state in children with dilated cardiomyopathy.

Objective To explore the preventive effect of Bailing capsules(BL) on myocardial fibrosis in the viral myocarditis(VMC) mice models and to clarify the possible mechanism.Methods The models of VMC were established by injecting Coxsackie virus B3 (CVB3) solution into 50 BALA/C mice.The 31 mice were divided into model group(n =11),large dose BL group(n =10)and small dose BL group (n =10).At the same time the control group (n =10) was established.The mice in model group and control group were fed with water 1 mL/d,the mice in large dose BL group were fed with BL at a dose of 7.5 g/(kg · d),and the mice in small dose BL group were fed with BL at a dose of 2.5 g/(kg · d).After 60 d,the levels of angiotensin Ⅱ (Ang Ⅱ) in blood serum of mice in various groups were detected by using ELISA.Myocardium tissue of mice was stained by Masson and collagen volume fraction(CVF)was accounted.At the same time,the content of periostin mRNA and transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-[β1) mRNA in myocardium tissue of mice were detected by adopting reverse transcription(RT)-PCR.Results Compared with the control group,the levels of serum Ang Ⅱ,CVF,TGF-β1 mRNA and periostin mRNA were increased (all P ＜ 0.01) in the model group.Compared with the model group,the levels of serum Ang Ⅱ,CVF and TGF-β1 mRNA were obviously decreased in large dose BL group and small dose BL group (all P ＜ 0.05).Compared with the model group,the level of periostin mRNA was obviously decreased in large dose BL group (P ＜ 0.05),but the level of periostin mRNA in small dose BL group was not decreased obviously (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions BL can offer some protection to myocardial fibrosis in VMC mice.The possible mechanism may be performed through inhibiting the expression of serum Ang Ⅱ and TGF-β1 in myocardium tissue to reduce the expression of periostin.

Objective To explore the effect of neuromuscular electrical stimulation(NMES) on hyolaryngeal structural movement in post-stroke dysphagia.Methods Thirty patients with post-stroke dysphagia were randomly divided into 3 groups (n =10) namely group A,group B and group C.On the basis of routine swallowing training,medication and rehabiliation given to group C,group A was provided with VitalStim therapy on both suprahyoid and infrahyoid muscles,while group B was only on suprahyoid muscles lasting 2 weeks.Before and after treatment,the Video Fluoroscopy Swallowing Study (VFSS) was carried out and the upward and forward displacement distances of the hyoid and thyroid cartilage when swallowing pap were measured.Moreover,water swallow test,dysphagia severity scale and DOSS scores were used to assess the swallowing function.Results After 2 weeks' treatment,the water drinking test score,dysphagia severity scale and DOSS scores increased significantly in all groups than before treatment.The water drinking test score of group A (2.40 ± 1.26) and group B (2.10 ± 0.99),dysphagia severity scale of group A (5.30 ± 1.89) and group B(5.20 ± 1.69),as well as the DOSS level of group A (5.20 ± 1.40) and group B (5.10 ± 1.45) were significantly better than the control group.However,no significant difference was observed in all measurements between group A and group B.The group B revealed a significantly increase in anterior hyoid excursion distance of (12.15 ± 7.59) mm,much bigger than that before treatment and that of group A and B after treatment.Conclusion NMES on the basis of traditional swallowing training can improve the swallowing function of post-stroke dysphagia patients,and NMES on suprahyoid muscles can further induce an increase in anterior hyoid excursion.

Objective: To observe the clinical effects of frozen shoulder treated by penetrating needling and manipulation Methods: 336 cases of frozen shoulder were randomly divided into treatment group, treated with needling Jianyu (LI 15) toward Jianqian (Ex) and Manipulation, and control group, treated with needling Jianyu (LI 15) toward Jianqian (Ex). The scores of shoulder movement and the changes of infrared image were observed before and after treatment. Results: The therapeutic effects were better in the treatment group than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Penetrating needling combining with manipulation is effective in treating frozen shoulder.
