There are many factors which can affect the genesis and prognosis of the stress-induced arrhythmias,besides the automatic nerve system,the personality,central nervous system and hereditary factors have been involved.It is very important to comprehend the relationship and effects of these factors for prevention of stress-induced arrhythmias.

Objective To clone a new liver cancer associated gene, and to explore the molecular basis of liver cancer genesis. Methods Using mRNA differential display polymerase chain reaction (DDPCR), we investigated the difference in mRNA expression between primary hepatocellular carcinoma and paracarcinoma liver tissue, and achieved a gene probe. The target gene expression was proved in parent tissue by Northern blot. Screening the placenta cDNA library, we got a full length cDNA of this gene. By GST fusion protein methods, we prepared the special polyantibody of C end of the gene. We identified the polyantibody and the expression of this gene by Western blot method. Results We obtained a full length cDNA of proline riched cancer associated gene, and we have prepared the specific polyantibody of this gene. Conclusion The obtaining of a novel liver cancer associated gene and successful preparation of the polyantibody pave the way for further study on gene therapy for liver cancer.

Objective: To construct the extracellular region of PCP-2(PCP-2EC) and the immunoglobin IgG Fc fusi on protein expression vector,and then express and purify the soluble PCP-2EC/Fc fusion protein for the study of its function in neuronal adhesion.Methods: PCP-2 extracellular region was amplified and cloned into an expression vector pIGplus containing human IgG Fc; PCP-2EC/Fc fusion protein was expressed by COS-7 and 293 cells transfected by the constructed plasmid and purified by protein A.The purified fusion protein was used as substrate to study its function in neuronal adhesion.Results:PCP-2 extracellular region was cloned into IgG Fc expression vector successfully; PCP-2EC/Fc fusion protein was expressed and purified in mammal cells; and the purified fusion protein promoted neuronal adhesion.Conclusion:PCP-2EC/Fc fusion protein expression system is successfully constructed and the purified fusion protein can promote neuronal adhesion.These results lay a foundation for the research on the PCP-2 function in neuronal adhesion and the further functional study in the nervous system and other fields.

Objective To explore the potential significance of long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) expressed in endoplasmic reticulum stress response also known as unfolded protein response ( UPR) .Methods Mouse embryonic fibroblasts ( MEFs) were isolated from 13 day mouse embryo , cultured and treated with tunicamycin for 16 hours to induce UPR .The untreated MEFs were used as negative control .The lncRNA expression profile was examined by a customized lncRNA array. The results of array assay were validated by real-time PCR and further analyzed by bioinformatics. Results There were 411 lncRNAs whose expression was signficantly up-regulated in MEFs treated with tunicamycin as compared with the controls ,while 790 lncRNAs were significantly down-regulated. A number of significantly alter lncRNAs were validated by real-time PCR. A further bioinformatics analysis of lncRNA profile suggested that many cold be in-volved in multiple cellular pathways. Conclusion Our lncRNA expression profile and bioinformatics studies srongly suggest that many lncRNAs can be regulated in the cells under UPR and could also in turn regulate UPR and other cellular processes.

Objective To summarize and discuss the therapy of patients with tentorial herniation due to post-traumatic acute diffuse brain swelling around operations to improve the therapeutic efficacy.Methods A retrospective study was accomplished on 70 patients with tentorial herniation due to post-traumatic acute diffuse brain swellin around operations.Results According to Glasgow outcome scale,44 of 70 cases got favorable outcome,including 37 cases good recovery and 7 cases moderate deficit.The 26 of 70 cases got unfavorable outcome,including 6 cases severe deficit,5 cases persistent vegetable status and 15 cases dead.Conclusions This comprehensive therapy improves the efficacy of patients with tentorial herniation due to post-traumatic acute diffuse brain swelling around operations,which is worth spreading and applying.

Objective To evaluate the clinical effectivity of continuous positive airway pressure in treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with left heart failure.Methods Totally 103 patients (aged 63-78 years) with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with left heart failure were randomly divided into two groups:treatment group (received noninvasive ventilation combined with routine medication) and control group (received conventional drug therapy).The patients of two groups were observed in the treatment of 1 hour to one week that blood pressure (SBP),heart rate (HR),arterial blood gas analysis,respiratory rate (RR),brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) and other indicators to improve the situation.Results After treatment,the PaO2 level of patients in treatment group was significantly increased from (56.1 ± 7.8) mm Hg to (91.1 ±11.3)mm Hg,(t=449.94,P＜0.05),PaCO2 decreased from (60.1± 10.9) mm Hg to (42.3± 9.3)mm Hg,(t=4.66,P＜0.05),pH value was improved from (7.26±0.12) to (7.36±0.17) (t=5.88,P＜0.05) and BNP was decreased from (350±181) ng/L to (961±376) ng/L (t=8.07,P＜0.05).In control group,the PaO2 was significantly increased from (55.0±8.1) mm Hg to (89.1±12.0) mm Hg (t=43.17,P＜0.05) after treatment,PaCO2 by decreased from (48.9±10.8) mm Hg,(58.9±10.8) mm Hg to (t=5.13,P＜0.05),pH value by up to (7.27 ±0.08),BNP by decreased from (439 ± 246) ng/L to (947 ±407) ng/L t=9.81,P＜0.05.Compared with the control group,the difference of PaO2 and BNP had no significantly significant.PaCO2 in treatment group was increased more sharply than it in the control group,and pH decreased more (P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Conclusions The use of continuous positive airway pressure to treatment chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with left heart failure can alleviate fatigue and prevent the respiratory failure.It is remarkable treatment effect and worthy of clinical application.

One-and-a-half syndrome with facial diplegia, also referred to as the fifteen-and-a-half syndrome, is an extremely rare clinical entity caused by involvement of bilateral tegmentum of pons. Herein, we report a 52-year-old male who presented with one-and-a-half syndrome with left facial paralysis, which was consistent with the so-called eight-and-a-half syndrome. Brain magnetic resonance imaging showed pontine infarction. Five days after initiation of antiplatelet therapy, the patient developed right facial paralysis, a diagnosis of fifteen-and-a-half syndrome was made, repeat MR imaging revealed bilateral pontine tegmentum infarction. Fifteen-and-a-half syndrome is a newly proposed concept associated with pontine infarction. The clinicoradiological features of this specific disease are as yet unclear due to its extreme rarity. The current case would help advance the current understanding of the disease spectrum of pontine infarction.

Objective:To investigate the relationship between base level of Cyfra21-1,SCCA,TK1 and lung cancer prognosis.Methods: A nested case-control study was conducted.721 lung cancer cases who had no distant metastasis were recruited baseline population from January 2010 to January 2013.About 2 years follow-up,364 cases of death or brain (or multiple) metastasis were identified as case group, and the other 357 cases were included in the control group.The level of serum Cyfra21-1,SCCA,TK1 was detected.The relationship between base level of Cyfra21-1,SCCA,TK1 and lung cancer prognosis were analyzed.Results: The age in the case group was (59.3±10.1),and the control group was (59.0±9.9).There were obvious differences in body mass index,smoking index,pathological type,clinical stage,lymph node metastasis and with chronic diseases between case group and control group(P<0.05),while no difference in pleural effusion,comprehensive treatment etc(P>0.05).There were differences in the base level of Cyfra21-1,SCCA,TK1;and there were differences in Cyfra21-1,SCCA,TK1 distribution between case group and control group(P<0.05).There was difference in the base level of Cyfra21-1(P<0.05),while no differences in SCCA,TK1(P>0.05) in patients with different stages of lung cancer.There were differences in the base levels of Cyfra21-1 and SCCA(P<0.05),while no differences in TK1(P>0.05) in patients with different pathological types of lung cancer.Logistic regression analysis results showed that the OR value of SCCA,TK1 with lung cancer prognosis were respective 7.235(1.674-14.613),5.009(0.973-10.778),5.816(0.879-16.235).Conclusion: The baseline level of Cyfra21-1 can reflect the prognosis of lung cancer patients,while SCCA,TK1 not.
