Objective To study the feasibility and curative effect of laparoscopic radical resection of rectal carcinoma. Methods Twenty-eight cases undergoing laparoscopic radical resection (laparoscopic group) and 26 cases undergoing open radical resection (open group) were enrolled from January 2004 to December 2007. The following parameters: operation-related situations, postoperative recovery, result of radical resection, and postoperative outcome were compared between the two groups. Results The blood loss during operation in laparoscopic group was less than that in open group [(148.0±26.5) ml vs (396.0±79.6) ml, P<0.01]. The gastrointestinal tract and urination function in laparoseopic group recovered faster than those in open group[the time of diet in taking was (2.8±0.1) d vs (3.9±0.3) d,the time of detaining urethral catheter was(4.2±0.2) d vs (6.0±0.8) d] (P<0.05). The hospital stay was shorter in laparoscopic group than that in open group [(9.8±1.1) d vs(13.2±2.8) d, P<0.01]. The operation time, the number of cleared lymph nodes and complications of laparoscopic between the two groups were no significant difference (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in local recurrent and beyond metastases rates between the two groups. Conclusion Laparoscopic radical resection of rectal carcinoma parallels with open surgery is in safety and effectiveness, it has less traumatic and blood loss and faster in patients recovery.

Objective:To study the phenotypes of T cell in patients with Hashimoto thyrioditis (HT) and to analyze its relationship with the impairment of follicles, so as to provide evidence for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods: Totally 136 HT specimens were obtained by fine needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) and were divided morphologically(L, P, O type). The serum parameters (TPOAb, TGAb, TSH) were tested, and 20 cases with nontoxic goiter were taken as control. Immuno-histochemical assay was performed with 60 specimens and FCM (Flow cytometry ) was used to study 23 specimens. The T cell infiltration and the distribution of CD3+ . CD4+ . and CD8+ T cells were compared between all types of HT tissues. The correlationship between the atrophic degree of follicle with T lymphocytes infiltration and phenotype was analyzed. Results: It was found that L type (n = 58) and P type (n = 28) had more serious follicle atrophy than that of O type (n = 20) (P

ObjectiveTo analyze the protective effects of heat-shock response on the retinae of the rats after retinal ischemic reperfusion injury. MethodTwenty Wistar rats (20 eyes) were divided into 4 groups: intracameral perfusion group (group P), intracameral perfusion after quercetin injection group (group P+Q), intracameral perfusion after heat shock group (group P+H), and intracameral perfusion after quercetin injection and heat shock group (group P+Q+H). According to the standard program established by International Society for Clinical Visual Electrophysiology, we recorded the results of the dark-adapted electroretinogram (D-ERG),oscillatory potentials (OPs),and light-adapted ERG (L-ERG) of the rats with intraocular hypertension after induced by heat shock response. The expressions of HSP 70 of the rats in all groups were observed by Western blotting.ResultsThe expression of HSP 70 of the rats in group P+H was the highest in all groups, but the expressions of HSP70 in group P+Q and P+Q+H were inhibited significantly. The amplitudes of a and b wave of ERG and O 2 wave of OPs decreased, and the delitescence of them were delayed significantly in rats after intracameral perfusion. The amplitude of b wave of D-ERG and O 2 wave of OPs in group P+H were higher than which in group P. Zero hour after perfusion, the amplitudes of all waves in group P+H increased significantly (P

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
RAPD analysis of eight soy sauce strains isolated from commercial soy sauce koji was done with random primers, using Aspergillus oryzae AS3.951 and Aspergillus sojae AS3.495 as controls.Six appropriate primers(Primer1,Primer5,Primer6,Primer7,Primer8,Primer9)for RAPD-PCR were screened from nine random primers, and repetitive experiments demonstrated that their RAPD-PCR polymorphic patterns were stable. There were usually 4~8 bands in their RADP-PCR patterns, where the number of the main bands was 1~4 and the secondary bands were abundant. The phylogenetic tree of these strains was reconstructed according to their RAPD-PCR patterns, and it basically corresponded to traditional morphological taxology, demonstrating that the application of RAPD molecular marker in the phylogenetic analysis of soy sauce strains was feasible.
