1.Investigation of the changes of lipemia and proteinuria in process of treatment of nephrotic syndrome
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):13-15
A study on the process of treatment of 40 patients with the nephritic syndrome, without the renal failure by prednisolone from 12/1996 to 5/1998 has shown that 100% patients had a high increased concentration of total cholesterol (CT) and low density lipoprotein (LDL); 90% patient had an increased concentration of triglyceride (TG) and 15% patient had an increased concentration of high density lipoprotein (HDL); 100% patients had an increased concentrations of proteinuria over 3.5 g/24 hours. After 2 weeks of treatment, the concentrations of CT, LDL, TG were reduced but were not significant different from these in baseline. The proteinuria was reduced to 40%; concentration of HDL was gradually increased. Their reductions were significant different from these before treatment but risks were high. 75% patients had negative proteinuria.

2.Dyslipidemia during treatment of nephrotic syndrome at Hue Central Hospital
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):45-47
Dyslipidemia is very common in nephrotic syndrome, but in clinical practice this problem is not much interested in, although hyperlipidemia can make dangerous complications for the patients. This study examined the variety of dyslipidemia after steroid treatment in patients with nephrotic syndrome but without renal failure. We studied on 40 patients with nephrotic syndrome at HuÕ Central Hospital and found that before treatment, total cholesterol and LDL concentrations are high. After two-week therapy, these concentrations decreased but insignificantly. After four-week therapy, total cholesterol and LDL concentrations decreased, HDL concentration increased. There was significant difference in comparison with the pre-treated concentrations (p<0.05).

3.Treatment of large defects in the pelvic limb by dorsal vascularized muscular flaps or myo-cutaneous flaps
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):7-9
25 patients with defects of soft tissue or complex defects of soft tissue and bone joint in the pelvic limbs received the dorsal vascularized myocutaneous transplantation and monitored continuously within 3 months - 9 years. The results have shown that the operations had a good outcomes, even complex lesions of soft tissue and bone such as open bone fracture, osteitis, bone defect. The dorsal vascularized myocutaneous flaps had a good viability and high antisepsis so that can be used in the bone operation or plastic reconstruction for defects of soft infected subchronically or chronically

4.Isolation and structure determination of compounds from Clausena lansium (Lour.) skeels
Journal of Medicinal Materials - Hanoi 2005;10(3):84-86
Studying on Clausena lansium (Lour.) samples collected from Pu Mat, Nghe An province in March 2004 to isolate and determine structure of some sterol compounds. Bough samples were dried and pounded leached with methanol in 20 days. Methanol extract was collected via distilling process to get solvents. Extracting with ethyl acetate, n-butanol and then distilling to get solvent we collected corresponding sediments. The corresponding solid extracts were collected by extract method with ethyl acetate, n-butanol solvents and then segment distill. A1, A2 solids were isolated by chromatographic method and segment crystallization. Using EI - MS, 1H - NMR, 13C - NMR spectroscopic methods to determine structure, A1 were identified as beta - sitosterol and A2 as stigmasterol. This is the first time these compounds isolated from Clausena lansium (Lour.) in Vietnam

5.Chemical compositions of essential oil of Cyperus rotundus L. from Vinh city of Nghe An province
Journal of Medicinal Materials - Hanoi 2005;10(5):138-140
Study on chemical compositions of essential oil of Cyperus rotundus L. extracted from the stem and root of plant Cyperus rotundus L. from Nghe An in October 2003. Results: 49 components were detected by combination of GC and GC/MS, in which 18 had been identified. Monoterpens accounted for high level in essential oil. The main components were -cyperon (14.5%), cyperen (7.8%), caryophylen oxid (6.5%), -selinen (6.3%). Essential oil level was 0.2% for fresh samples. Essential oil had soil-yellow color and specific slight perfume

6.Combination of diphtheria - tetanus - pertussia, and Hib components
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2003;13(6):5-9
The Institute of Vaccine had elaborated a procedure of preapration and produced successfully a 4 component liquid vaccine of diphteria – tetanos – coqueluche and meningitis (DTP-Hib). The quality have reached the standards issued in European and WHO Pharmacopoeia. The procedure of preparation of DPT-Hib mixt vaccine and the preliminary procedure of its quality control were established

8.Sterily control of biologicals at IVAC during the period from 1992 to 2002
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2003;13(6):106-107
In the last 11 years recently the contaminated rate was very low (291/6382 samples). 0.45% and decreased dramatically in the past 3 years (2000-2003 period). The most common contaminated germs were primarily gram(+) bacteria (60% - 195/320 samples). 4.6% of samples were contamined with fungi (15/320), which should be erradicated completely

9.Development a computer software on rapid classification for controlling sterility of vaccines and substances
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2004;14(2):84-87
Selection of bacteria classification, collection the normal groups in sterility of vaccine and substances of national Institute of Vaccines (IVAC) of Nha Trang - Da Lat during 20 years (from 1983 to 2003). Cultured environment thioglycolate and Sabouraud. Gram's stain method and recognized and biochemical test were applied routinely by WHO. A computer software based on bacteria classification and SQL language in MS Access were developed by IVAC. This program was used for controlling sterility of vaccine and substances to follow GMP requirement in the future

10.Rabies and vaccination
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2004;14(2):92-94
Rabies is a common contagious disease of human and animals (dog, cat, monkey...) that caused by a virus. In Vietnam, normally every year has from 300 to 500 people die of rabies (equally one fourth of total deaths caused by contaminated diseases, 95% of deaths without vaccination in time. When was bitten by mad dog or having large, deep and dangerous wound that near the nervous centre, the surface of genitourinary... there must be used right away antiserum besides vaccine. Subjects are more likely infected with mad virus who need to vaccinate before
