Osteoporosis is considered in traditional medicine as dysfunction of nutriment and waste products therefore flesh nutriment is failed to produce bone nutrients leading to dysregulation of bone metabolism. Tungalag-5 is used in traditional medicine to promote separation of nutriment and waste products. Effect of Tungalag-5 was examined on osteoporosis induced in rats. The study was carried out in the hospital laboratory of Inner Mongolian University and School of Health Technology, Health Sciences University of Mongolia. Tungalag-5 can be an effective agent for treatment of osteoporosis.
