The tuberculosis prevention and control is urgent national and global problem. It should contain the tuberculosis spread and prevent tuberculosis from drug resistance. This paper introduced some solutions including strengthening of the national program of tuberculosis control; all patients with tuberculosis must be treated; rational and safe use of the chemotherapy; and the tuberculosis control program should be socialized

Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is still one of the diseases with highest incidence and mortality world-wide. Vietnam ranked 13 of 22 countries with highest number of tuberculosis patients in the world. Methods and channels is one factor among some important factors which affect effectiveness of health communication activities in general and communication activities for prevention of tuberculosis in particular. Objectives: To describe probable for access tools of health communication among general inhabitants and to determine which methods and tools should be used. Subjects and method: This was a cross-sectional described study. A population based survey was carried out within a demographic surveillance site in Bavi, Ha Tay province. Subjects of the study were adults (> 15 years old) randomly identified at households level. Results and Conclusion: A total of 12143 persons were interviewed. People received TB information from many sources. Commonly, reported sources of information included television (64.6%) and friends/relatives (42.7%). There were different sources of information between men and women. The use of more than one method/channel should be considered in TB health education activities. Commonly, television and loudspeaker were suggested (70.4% and 55.1%).

Despite the achievements obtained worldwide in the control of tuberculosis in recent years, many countries and regions including China still face challenges such as low diagnosis rate, high missed diagnosis rate, and delayed diagnosis of the disease. The discovery strategy of tuberculosis in China has changed from "active discovery by X-ray examination" to "passive discovery by self-referral due to symptoms", and currently the approach is integrated involving self-referral due to symptoms, active screening, and physical examination. Active screening could help to identify early asymptomatic and untreated cases. With the development of molecular biology and artificial intelligence-assisted diagnosis technology, there are more options for active screening among the large-scale populations. Although the implementation cost of a population-based active screening strategy is high, it has great value in social benefits, and active screening in special populations can obtain better benefits. Active screening of tuberculosis is an important component of the disease control. It is suggested that active screening strategies should be optimized according to the specific conditions of the regions to ultimately ensure the benefit of the tuberculosis control.

Along with the rapid spread of HIV / AIDS and TB prevalence, prevention and control of AIDS and tuberculosis has become an urgent problem in the field of public health. Recent studies demonstrate dual infections of HIV and TB are not a simple superposition of two diseases, but a course of mutual promotion. This article has summarized the pathological mechanisms and mutual interactions of HIV/TB dual infections.
