Objective To study the effect of an immuno-targeted therapy drug Herceptin on apoptosis and cell cycle of overexpressing HER2 breast cancer cells. Methods Breast cancer cell line SKBR-3 was treated with Herceptin at most effective dosage and exposure time were selected by MTT assay. Then the apoptotic features, the apoptotic rate and the change of cell cycle of breast cancer cells were detected by fluorescent microscope(FM),laser confocal microscope(LCM),scanning electron microscope(SEM),transmission electron microscope(TEM)and flow cytometry(FCM).Results With the treatment of Herceptin, the visible apoptosis features of SKBR-3 cells were observed by FM,LCM,SEM and TEM.Compared to the control cell group, the rate of initial apoptotic cells detected by FCM with Annexin V/PI staining increased significantly(P

Objective:To systematically review the efficacy and safety of dexmedetomidine and midazolam in procedural sedation. Methods: PubMed,EMBase,Cochrane Library,CNKI,CBM and WanFang databases were retrieved to collect the randomized controlled trials (RCT) about comparion of efficacy and safety between dexmedetomidine and midazolam in procedural sedation up to March, 2017. Based on the inclusion criteria, the data extraction and quality evaluation were performed, and then the systematic evaluation was carried out.The outcome measures for efficacy were the satisfaction scores and pain scores of the patients and clinicians;the outcome measures for safety comparison were hypotension, hypoxia, and circulatory and respiratory complications. Results:There were 14 RCT satisfied the inclusion criteria including 949 patients.Compared with midazolam group, the incidence of pain, delirium, and analgesia of the patients in dexmedetomidine group had significant differences (P<0.05);but the incidence of respiratory depression, low blood pressure had no significant differences (P>0.05).Conclusion:When the adult patients are sedated, dexmedetomidine can be used as an ideal alternative to midazolam sedation.

Critical care medicine-related treatment is an interdisciplinary and multi-professional process, often leading to secondary or concomitant mental disorders in clinical practice.Currently, there is no consensus on the pharmacological treatment of related mental illnesses in China. The Chinese Society of Psychosomatic Medicine collaborated with the Critical Care Medicine expert group to form a consensus writing expert group. After a systematic review of relevant literature, summarizing published domestic and foreign literature, and extensive discussions, the consensus was developed. The consensus elaborates on the principles and processes of the standardized use of psychotropic drugs in critical care medicine,as well as the clinical indications, precautions, and specific drug selection of various psychiatric medications, providing feasible suggestions and guidance for the clinical application of psychiatric medications in the intensive care unit.

OBJECTIVE:
To observe the clinical effect on site preservation with self platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) in posterior dental areas after extraction.
METHODS:
Thirty patients who asked to extract posterior teeth and were ready for dental implantation were enrolled. PRF was implanted immediately in alveolar fossa after extraction. Cone beam computer tomography (CBCT) images were taken after 4-6 months and the changes in height and width of alveolar bone were observed.
RESULTS:
There was no statistical difference in the height and width between the alveolar bone treated with PRF after the extraction of tooth and the bone condition before the extraction of tooth.
CONCLUSION
The site preservative technology with PRF could maintain the mass of alveolar bone in posterior dental areas, which provide a better bone condition for later dental implantation.
