China Pharmacy 2001;0(09):-
OBJECTIVE:To establish the standard for quality control of Bushenxiaoshi granules.METHODS:TLC was applied to identify the properties of Rhizoma Corydalis,Rhizoma Alismatis and Rhizoma Dioscoreae;TLC scanning method was applied to determine the content of Tetrahydropalmatine in Bushenxiaoshi granules.RESULTS:The three herbs could be identified by TLC.There was a good linear relationship with Tetrahydropalmatine at the range of 0.408~ 2.04? g(r=0.997 5),and the average recovery is 95.94%(RSD=1.85%).CONCLUSION:The methods could be used for quality control of Bushenxiaoshi granules.
5.Study on barriers of policy and regulation of traditional Chinese medicine accessing international markets and its countermeasures
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2012;34(1):28-32
We analyzed and sorted the policies and regulations of traditional medical management in international markets which also affecting traditional Chinese medicine and summaried current situation of barriers of policy and regulation of Ttraditional Chinese medicine. After thoroughly analyzing the reasons of barriers of policy and regulation of traditional Chinese medicine,we found that the reasons lied in culture difference between China and western countries, quality of traditional Chinese medicine, low level of R&D and manufacturing, incomplete domestic laws and regulations of traditional Chinese medicine, lack of anti-technical barriers to trade service system. In the end of this paper,we came up with some countermeasures of barriers of policy and regulation when traditional Chinese medicine accessing international markets.
6.Study of strategies on traditional Chinese medicine accessing Australian market
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2011;33(6):511-514
Australia is a country with strict drug administration, which is hard for its market access. Chinese Medicine Registration Act 2000 enacted by Victoria State of Australia established the legal status of traditional Chinese medicine in Victoria State, which made Australia the first one of western nations to legislate traditional Chinese medicine. We should take advantage of this opportunity to give in-depth analysis of laws and regulations on traditional Chinese medicine in Australia to push on traditional Chinese medicine to enter the Australia market. By analyzing the regulations of traditional Chinese medicine in Australia market, we put forward the following strategies on traditional Chinese medicine accessing Australia market: first, we should strengthen cooperation of Chinese and Australian governments; secondly, we should focus on analysis of regulations of drugs of Australia, thirdly, we should establish technical standard of herbal drugs in conformity with international standard; finally, we should strengthen traditional Chinese medicine culture exchange.
7.The influences of Tangbikang on oxidative stress in rats with diabetic peripheral neuropathy
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2010;32(4):296-298
Objective To investigate the influences of Tangbikang on the oxidative stress in rats with diabetic penipheral neuropathy (DPN). Methods Diabetes rats were induced by intraperitoneal injection of STZ, 55 mg/kg and randomly divided into five groups: model group, methycobal treatment group, and Tang Bi Kang low, medium and high dosage treatment group. Body weight was examined every week. All rats were sacrificed at week 8 and the values of blood serum, superoxide dismutase, malondialdehyde, nitric oxide synthase and nitric oxide were detected. Results After treated with Tang Bi Kang, the eighth week's body weight, the levels of SOD, NOS and NO in the blood serum and ATP of sciatic nerve were increased greatly (P<0.01 or P<0.05) and the contents of MDA and AGEs and AR of sciatic nerve were decreased (P<0.01), compared with the model group. Conclusion Tang Bi Kang may lighten the oxidative stress reaction of diabetic penipheral neuropathy and slow down the course of the diabetic penipheral neuropathy.

China Pharmacy 2016;27(16):2221-2224
OBJECTIVE:To classify the drug properties of Compositae involved in effective patent of TCM extract combina-tion. METHODS:Property, flavor and the meridian tropism of TCM were used as the parameters;by computer analysis software, fuzzy cluster analysis was conducted from Compositae mostly involved in effective patent of TCM extract combination which ap-proved before Jan. 1st in 2015 and kept till May 30th in 2015. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:27 ingredients of Compositae were involved with the functions as protecting liver almost. They were classified into 5 categories. The first category included 10 ingredi-ents as Dendranthema morifolium which were cold, bitter to taste, and in the liver and lung meridian, and all of them contained flavonoids compounds;the second category included 3 ingredients as Gnaphalium affine of which flavonoids compounds were main medicinal components;the third category included 5 ingredients as Atractylodes lancea which could protect liver and contained vola-tile oil;the forth category included 4 ingredients as Tussilago farfara which showed anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor effect;the fifth category included 5 ingredients as Erigeron breviscapus which contained ingredients for cardiovascular disease. Those catego-ries were similar not only in property, flavor and the meridian tropism, but also in active ingredients and effects. The researchers should further research TCM of which pharmacologic action are not well understood,by means of make reference to known TCM in the same category, and make preparation to save time and enlarge medicinal resource.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(13):-
Objective To detect the mutant prevention concentration (MPC) of macrolide resistant Streptococcus pneumoniae, to amplify the resistance gene of Streptococcus pneumoniae mutants selected in the mutant selection window (MSW), and to investigate the mechanism in the resistance of Streptococcus pneumoniae to macrolides. Methods The Streptococcus pneumoniae strain ATCC49619 was enriched in broth, and the bacterial concentrations were adjusted to 1010 colony forming units per milliliter. The minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC), MIC for 99 % of input cells (MIC99), provisional MPC (MPCpr), and MPC of roxithromycin and azithromycin for Streptococcus pneumoniae were determined by agar plate dilution method. The ermB and mefA of Streptococcus pneumoniae mutants selected in the MSW were obtained by PCR method and sequencing. Results The MPCs of roxithromycin and azithromycin for ATCC49619 were 0.80 ?g/ml and 0.51 ?g/ml, and the MPC/MIC99 were 5.0 and 3.9. The ermB gene was detected in Streptococcus pneumoniae mutants selected in the MSW. Conclusion Adjustment of the drug dose may limit the enrichment of macrolide-resistant Streptococcus pneumoniae mutant. The mechanism in the resistance of Streptococcus pneumonia to macrolides may be associated with ermB genes carried.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2016;23(4):8-11
Objective To provide references for the education of intellectual property of TCM universities and colleges. Methods A questionnaire investigation were administered to the graduate students of traditional Chinese medicine from 5 domestic TCM universities and colleges, and data were collected and analyzed, with the addition of Internet information searching. The importance of intellectual property education for graduate students and the status in the end were analyzed. Results Some noticeable problems still exist in the graduate student education on intellectual property, like lack of curriculums, poor after-class practice, less special lectures, and so on.Conclusion In order to tackle these problems, and to make the education of graduate students of traditional Chinese medicine better, the corresponding cultivation mechanisms should be established; the main educational points should be definite; the secure system of laboratory should be improved.
