2.Clinical characteristics and rational use of Chinese and Western medicine on elderly diabetic patients
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(08):-
In this article,we propose the strategy of rational use of Chinese and Western medicine on elderly diabetic patients, based on their clinical characteristics and different syndromes, combined with glucose control target level, these strategies are described as follows:①To improve patient`s compliance by diabetic education;②To enhance clinical effectiveness through diet and exercise;③To implement individualized treatment with rational use of hypoglycemic drugs;④To simplify medication with easy operability;⑤To focus on drug-induced hypoglycemia;⑥To pay attention to the imcompatibility when various diseases coexist;⑦To avoid repeated use or forgetting to take the hypoglycemic drugs;⑧To highlighted weight loss treatment for overweight or obese patients;⑨To differentiate syndrome and treatment of elderly patients.
3.The influences of Tangbikang on oxidative stress in rats with diabetic peripheral neuropathy
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2010;32(4):296-298
Objective To investigate the influences of Tangbikang on the oxidative stress in rats with diabetic penipheral neuropathy (DPN). Methods Diabetes rats were induced by intraperitoneal injection of STZ, 55 mg/kg and randomly divided into five groups: model group, methycobal treatment group, and Tang Bi Kang low, medium and high dosage treatment group. Body weight was examined every week. All rats were sacrificed at week 8 and the values of blood serum, superoxide dismutase, malondialdehyde, nitric oxide synthase and nitric oxide were detected. Results After treated with Tang Bi Kang, the eighth week's body weight, the levels of SOD, NOS and NO in the blood serum and ATP of sciatic nerve were increased greatly (P<0.01 or P<0.05) and the contents of MDA and AGEs and AR of sciatic nerve were decreased (P<0.01), compared with the model group. Conclusion Tang Bi Kang may lighten the oxidative stress reaction of diabetic penipheral neuropathy and slow down the course of the diabetic penipheral neuropathy.
4.Quantitative Determination of Troxerutin Injection by HPLC
China Pharmacy 1991;0(06):-
OBJECTIVE :To determine the content of Troxerutin in Troxerutin injection by HPLC METHODS :The separation was performed on a Hypersil BDS C18 column The mobile phase was composed of acetontrile-tetrahydrofuran-0.05 mol/Lsodium dihydrogen phosphate(15∶8∶77V/V ) ,adjusted to pH4 0 with phosphoric acid The flow rate was 0 8ml/ min The ultraviolet wavelength was 254nm RESULTS :The calibration curve showed good li nearityinrange of (20~200) ?g/ ml(r=0 9998) ;The mean recovery was 100 7 % The within -day RSD was 1 61 %,and inter-day RSD was 2 46 % CONC_ LUSION :The method was simple ,convenient and accurate and can be used for the quality control of Troxerutin injection
5.Study on Quality Standard for Bushenxiaoshi Granules
China Pharmacy 2001;0(09):-
OBJECTIVE:To establish the standard for quality control of Bushenxiaoshi granules.METHODS:TLC was applied to identify the properties of Rhizoma Corydalis,Rhizoma Alismatis and Rhizoma Dioscoreae;TLC scanning method was applied to determine the content of Tetrahydropalmatine in Bushenxiaoshi granules.RESULTS:The three herbs could be identified by TLC.There was a good linear relationship with Tetrahydropalmatine at the range of 0.408~ 2.04? g(r=0.997 5),and the average recovery is 95.94%(RSD=1.85%).CONCLUSION:The methods could be used for quality control of Bushenxiaoshi granules.
6.Study of strategies on traditional Chinese medicine accessing Australian market
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2011;33(6):511-514
Australia is a country with strict drug administration, which is hard for its market access. Chinese Medicine Registration Act 2000 enacted by Victoria State of Australia established the legal status of traditional Chinese medicine in Victoria State, which made Australia the first one of western nations to legislate traditional Chinese medicine. We should take advantage of this opportunity to give in-depth analysis of laws and regulations on traditional Chinese medicine in Australia to push on traditional Chinese medicine to enter the Australia market. By analyzing the regulations of traditional Chinese medicine in Australia market, we put forward the following strategies on traditional Chinese medicine accessing Australia market: first, we should strengthen cooperation of Chinese and Australian governments; secondly, we should focus on analysis of regulations of drugs of Australia, thirdly, we should establish technical standard of herbal drugs in conformity with international standard; finally, we should strengthen traditional Chinese medicine culture exchange.
7.Study on barriers of policy and regulation of traditional Chinese medicine accessing international markets and its countermeasures
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2012;34(1):28-32
We analyzed and sorted the policies and regulations of traditional medical management in international markets which also affecting traditional Chinese medicine and summaried current situation of barriers of policy and regulation of Ttraditional Chinese medicine. After thoroughly analyzing the reasons of barriers of policy and regulation of traditional Chinese medicine,we found that the reasons lied in culture difference between China and western countries, quality of traditional Chinese medicine, low level of R&D and manufacturing, incomplete domestic laws and regulations of traditional Chinese medicine, lack of anti-technical barriers to trade service system. In the end of this paper,we came up with some countermeasures of barriers of policy and regulation when traditional Chinese medicine accessing international markets.

Clinical Medicine of China 2012;28(7):682-685
Objective To analyze the incidence, severity and morphologic characteristics of anemia in patients with malignant tumors. Methods Five hundred and thirty hospitalized patients with a primary diagnosis of tumor were enrolled in this study at our hospital from Jan.2009 to Mar.2011.Their hemoglobin (Hb) levels, age, sex, and type of tumor were recorded.Anemia was diagnosed to be present when their Hb on admission was less than 110 g/L Results There were 111 in the 530 patients (20.94%) had anemia on admission.Anemia was seen in 35.3% of patients with digestive system cancer,in 19.4% with gynecologic cancers,in 18.3% withlung cancers,in 6.8% with urinogenital cancers and 1.8% with breast cancers. The difference of incidence of anemia in different types of cancers was statistically significant ( x2=44.9785,P < 0.01 ).Grade Ⅰ and Ⅱanemia accounted for 15.66% ; and grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ accounted for 5.28% of all. There was no significant difference of incidence of anemia between male and female [ 22.36% ( 72/322 ) vs.18.75% ( 39/208 ),x2 =1.0020,P > 0.05 ].The more severe the anemia was,the smaller the erythrocyte mean corpuscular volume was.The rate of anemia was 2.08% when patients were discharged, and 5.66% were intervened. Conclusion The incidence of anemia was high in patients hospitalized with tumor, but only a small percent got enough medical care.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2008;30(3):176-177
Objective To observe the effects of Tangnaikang on interleukin 6 (IL-6) and minor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) levels of Diabetic KKAy mice. Methods After diabetic KKAy mice were treated with Tangnaikang for 8 weeks,FBG was determined by glucose test-paper, IL-6 and TNF-αconcentratious in serum and adipocytes were determined by ELISA. Results IL-6 and TNF-α levels were reduced in serum and adipocytes of KKAy mice. Conclusion Tangnaikang can significantly reduce the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in Diabetic KKAy mice, and the reduction of them can help to decrease FBG level.
