To make a systematic analysis on literatures concerning traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) advices in Treatise on Febrile Diseases, and summarize the main connotations of traditional Chinese medicine advices, relevant TCM advices in Treatise on Febrile Diseases were collected, screened, compared, summarized and analyzed according to TCM dosage form preparation methods, TCM administration methods, medication contraindications and nursing after TCM administration. The literatures concerning medications in Treatise on Febrile Diseases were consulted, summarized and compared to standardize medicine advices and facilitate rational clinical application of TCMs. The standard medicine advices were as follows. The boiling water for TCMs shall be tap water and well water. The decoctions that have effects in promoting blood and meridians can be boiled with wine. The decoctions containing toxic components can be boiled with honey. Some TCMs shall be boiled with special methods, e. g. Herba Ephedra that could be boiled before other medicine and skimmed. Japonica rice could be added in decoctions to measure the duration of decoctions. Different dosages were required for different forms (litre, pill, medicine spoon). Administration times, temperature and frequency shall be adjusted according to target positions, functions and stage of illness. As for dietary contraindications during medication, thick porridges are recommended, where foods impacting medicine efficacy are prohibited. Regarding nursing after medication is important to recover physical functions, particularly warm porridges can go with diaphoretic recipes, while thick porridges can go with purgative recipes. And drug efficacies shall be defined by observing urine and excrements, and blood form. In conclusion, Treatise on Febrile Diseases is the first book that discusses TCM advices and records them in details. In this study, new standard medicine advices were proposed to provide important basis for improving clinical advices of TCMs and supports for developing the TCM dispensing technology.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2016;22(12):1425-1429
The process of exercise regulating bone metabolism is complicated, which involves a number of signaling pathways. A large number of studies in vitro have indicated that mechanical stress regulates bone metabolism by Wnt, bone morphogenetic protein (BMP), and osteoprotegerin (OPG)/receptor activator of NF-κB ligand (RANKL)/receptor activator of NF-κB (RANK) signaling pathways. Both the in-tensity and frequency of mechanical stress have varing impact on bone tissue and cells. Plenty of studies in vivo also have shown that exer-cise regulates bone metabolism by key factors in bone metabolism signaling pathways. This paper reviewed the effects of exercise on bone metabolism pathways and their mechanisms.

Objective To investigate the plasma levels of glutamate (Glu) andγ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in Par?kinson’s disease patients with depression (PDD) and their clinical significance. Methods Plasma levels of Glu and GA?BA were measured in 88 PD patients including 43 PDD patients and 45 PD patients without depression, and 68 healthy controls by using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC-RF). Depression was assessed in enrolled subjects by using the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD). The plasma levels of Glu and GABA were compared among different groups and their associations with HAMD scores were subsequently evaluated by correlation analysis. Results The plas?ma levels of Glu and GABA were significantly lower in PD group(49.81±22.79,249.17±62.57)than in normal control group(149.59±50.08,276.66±85.43)(all P<0.05). In addition, PD patients with depression exhibited significantly low?er plasma levels of Glu and GABA(40.34±15.77 and 233.63±53.56)compared to PD patients without depression(58.86± 24.87 and 264.02±67.39)and healthy controls (all P<0.05). Correlation analysis indicated that HAMD scores were nega?tively associated with plasma levels of Glu ( r=-0.366,P=0.000 ) and GABA ( r=-0.217,P=0.043 ). Conclusion The decrease in plasma levels of Glu and GABA may be implicated in the pathogenesis of depression in PD patients.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for formulating related provisions, guidelines and regulations for off-label drug use, standardizing medical behavior in medical health institutions. METHODS:According to the connotation of off-label drug use,Questionnaire for off-label drug use was developed for medical institutions,in which drug name, treatment disease, the type and use evidence ofoff-label drug usewere included. The questionnaires were delivered to pharmacists who participatedClinical phar-macist practice skills training in Sichuan province to collect the related information of off-label drug use for statistical analysis, and suggestions were put forward. RESULTS:Totally 150 questionnaires were sent out,124 were effectively received with effec-tively recovery of 82.7%;the surveyed pharmacists came from 22 medical institutions, including 18 tertiary hospitals and 4 second-ary hospitals;there were 128 information about off-label drug use, including 14 (10.9%) with incomplete reporting information. The another 114 information were major in“super indication”(61) and“super administration”(43),accounting for 53.5% and 37.7%,respectively,and there are 8 other drug overdose(7.0%),2 super object(1.8%). The relevant off-label drug use mainly included anti-infection drugs (34 information,29.8%),anti-tumor drugs (16 information,14.0%),TCM injections (8 informa-tion,7.0%),and etc.;the relative concentration of varieties were metronidazole, dexamethasone, gentamicin, methotrexate, azithromycin,irinotecan,vancomycin,nystatin,etc.. Some medical institutions were absence of effective regulatory measures. CONCLUSIONS:Off-label drug use is quite common in medical institutions of Sichuan province, some of them exist obvious med-ication risk. It is suggested that the state should be as soon as possible to develop related provisions, guidelines and regulations for off-label drug use, endowing legal force for off-label drug use;medical staff should avoid no evidence-based drug use,unreason-able or even unnecessary off-label drug use;pharmaceutical production enterprises should strengthen communication with medical institutions and pay attention to collect information related to the clinical medication, timely update the drug instructions to ensure the legitimate rights for patients and the interests for medical staff.
