Objective To explore the influence of helicobacter pylori(Hp) on gastric motor function in children with chronic gastrictis.Methods Forty-seven children with chronic gastrictis were classified into Hp positive and negative groups according to Hp and histology exa-mination.Each child underwent gastric emptying test of solid by using nuclide method and electrogastrogram(EGG) examination.These cases with Hp-positive acceptted these triple eradication therapy[clarithromycin 15 mg/(kg?d),amoxicillin 50 mg/(kg?d),omeprazole 0.8 mg/(kg?d)]for 2 weeks,and underwent EGG examination again after eradicating Hp.Results The half emptying time(GET_1/2)in Hp-positive gastric group were significantly longer than those in Hp-negative group(t=6.403 P

Objective To investigate the clinical manifestations, endoscopic manifestations, histological characteristics, diagnosis and treatment of the primary gastrointestinal melanoma in China. Methods The gender, age, position, endoscopic manifestations, histological characteristics, treatment, prognosis of the primary gastrointestinal melanoma were gathered and analyzed by reviewing retrospectively the data of 2 cases seen at our hospital and 449 cases searched in CNKI from 1983 to 2015. Results The primary gastrointestinal melanoma was mostly seen in the rectum and anus, and secondly in the esophagus. A typical endoscopic finding was a protuberant or nodular tumor, with erosion or dirty surface on it. Most lesions were friable and easily hemorrhagic. The maximum diameters of most lesions, accounted for 83.3 %, were larger than 2.0 cm. The average value of the maximum diameters was (4.79 ± 2.67) cm. Most cases presented brown or black, followed by hoar. However, some lesions presented various colors, such as blue, red, even co-exited color or achromatic color. Preoperative misdiagnosed rate was 73.64 % and 1-year mortality was 54.19 %. Negative correlation was observed between survival time and lesion size, infiltration depth. Positive correlation was observed between lesion size and metastasis infiltration depth. Survival time had nothing to do with metastasis and age. Conclusion The primary gastrointestinal melanoma was highly aggressive, and usually found in the terminal age, usually together with extensive metastasis, misdiagnosed and poor prognosis. Knowing the clinical features, endoscopic manifestations, histological and immunohistochemical characteristics is the key to early diagnosis.

Objective To investigate relationship between different degrees of asymptomatic carotid artery stenosis and cognitive impairment. Methods The cognitive function were evaluated with the montreal cognitive assessment scale (MoCA) in 80 patients with asymptomatic carotid artery stenosis and 56 controls, the total MoCA scores and subprojects scores were compared between the patients with different degrees of ACS and controls. Results The total MoCA score, visual space and executive function, attention and delayed recall had significant difference among the mild, moderate, severe ACS patients and control group (all P < 0.05). There was no statistical significance of the total MoCA score and the scores of all subprojects between the patients of mild ACS patients and the control group (all P > 0.05). The total MoCA score and the scores of visual space and executive function , attention and delayed recall in moderate and severe ACS patients were significantly lower than the control group and mild ACS patients (P < 0.05). Furthermore, the severe ACS patients, compared with the moderate ACS patients , performed worse on the cognitive tasks which involved visual space and executive function, attention and delayed recall (P < 0.05). Conclusions Cognitive function is impaired in the patients with moderate and severe ACS,the neuropsychological characteristics are mainly impaired in visual space and executive function, attention and delayed recall.

Objective To study the levels of umbilical plasma ?-endorphin (?-EP) in normal and abnormal pregnancy and the influencing factors. Methods The umbilical plasma ?-EP concentrations of 95 cases were measured by radioimmunoassay. Linear regression was used to find out the influencing factors of ?-EP including: neonatal gestational age, gender, birth weight, mode of delivery, maternal hypertension, maternal diabetes, premature rupture of membranes(PROM) and fetal distress. Traditional recombination technology of bacteria chromosome and its limitation were introduced. The definition of Red recombination technology is put forward: a method of homologous recombination between foreign linear DNA and the target gene in chromosomes mediated by ? phage Red system. The linear DNA referred here is general PCR product or oligonucleotide, which has a 36~50bp homologous sequence with the target gene in chromosome at both flanking. Red recombination technology leaves out the in vitro DNA restriction enzyme digestion and link process, which makes the knockout and alternation of target gene in bacteria chromosome relatively easier, and becomes an effective method to exploring genes and constructing new strains gradually. The gene inactivation and alternation method aiming at bacteria chromosome applied to Red recombination system was summarized by the structure element, action mechanism, and strategy of recombination, advantage and developing prospect. The Red system includes three genes: bet (aka?), exo and gam (aka ?). Exo is a 5′→3′ exonuclease, which degrades the 5′ ends of linear DNA molecules. Bet is a single-stranded DNA binding protein that binds to the single stranded 3′ ends generated by Exo and promotes annealing to complementary DNA. Gam binds to the host RecBCD complex and inhibits its exonuclease activity. Red recombination system may be constructed in such plasmids as pKD20 and pKD46 or in chromosome of bacteria. Most bacteria are not readily transformable with linear DNA because of the presence of intracellular exonucleases that degrade linear DNA. But when bacteria cells are transformed with pKD20 or pKD46 plasmid, or integrated with a detective ? prophage, Red recombination enzymes may be expressed in host cells, which make linear DNA with 36~50bp extensions that are homologous to both flanking of target genes transform E.coli readily and knock-out or alternate target gene. The Red recombination method is not only useful in chromosomal gene inactivation in E.coli, but also in other bacteria or virus, such as Salmonella, Shigella flexneri and virus HaSNPV. With the proceeding research, Red system will be applied for more and more purposes, and contribute a lot for gene improvement and gene function investigation in the coming Postgenome Era.

Objective: To investigate the effect and mechanism of emodin (EMO) on human pancreatic cancer cell line BxPC-3 in vivo. Methods: After the pancreatic cancer model in nude mice was established, the mice were divided into four groups: control group (NS 0.2mL/d by i.p. injection), EMO group (EMO 40mg?kg-1?d-1 by i.p. injection), and Gemcitabine (GEM) group (GEM 80mg/kg, twice/week by i.p. injection) with 8 mice each group. After 2 weeks of administration, the mice were sacrificed, detected the body-weight change of nude nice before and after the experiment, and recorded the growth inhibition rate of tumor (TGI). Immunohistochemical (IHC) staining for ki-67 and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated nicked labeling assay (TUNEL) were undertaken to detect the cell proliferation and cell apoptosis in tumor tissue in xenograft nude mice.
