We investigated the Toxop lasma infection prevalence among planned pregnant women in Chongqing ,and to pro‐vide reference for the first level intervention of birth defects in the region .A total of 11 953 planned pregnant women were se‐lected by proportionally stratified multi‐stage random sampling method .Questionnaire survey was given to the women ,and blood samples were collected .Specific IgM and IgG antibodies against Toxoplasma were detected with ELISA .Results showed that among the 11 953 cases surveyed ,Toxoplasma IgM was positive in 71 cases ,with the positive rate of 0 .59% ;IgG was positive in 771 cases ,with the positive rate of 6 .54% .The positive rate of IgM and IgG antibodies in the metropolitan core re‐gion of the city was higher than that in the suburb areas (χ2 =35 .28 ,P<0 .000 1 ;χ2 =82 .65 ,P<0 .000 1) .The positive rate of IgM antibody increased with the educational level (χ2trend=3 .25 ,P=0 .001 1) .The positive rates of IgM and IgG varied in occupations among women (χ2 =13 .93 , P= 0 .016 0;χ2 = 15 .58 ,χ2 =0 .008 1) ,with the highest rate of public officials . Planned pregnant women with the history of abnormal pregnancy outcomes had higher positive rate of T .gondii IgM and IgG antibodies than those in the control (χ2 =6 .85 ,P=0 .008 9;χ2 =59 .25 ,P<0 .000 1) .There was no significant difference of IgM positive rate between the planned pregnancy women who had closed contact to cats and the control group (χ2 =0 .23 ,P=0 .628 6) ,while the positive rate of IgG was higher than that of the control group (χ2 =9 .95 ,P=0 .001 6) .T .gondii infec‐tion rate was on the low level of planned pregnant women in Chongqing .Adverse pregnancy outcomes are related to Toxoplas‐ma infection .

Objective To explore the therapeutic strategy for intracranial ischemia due to extraand intracranial artery stenosis using endovascular stent angioplasty. Methods Totally 109 patients with extra-and/or intracranial artery stenosis were treated by endovascular stent in our hospital from March 2008 to September 2011.There were 93 cases with single stenostic lesion,16 cases with multiple stenosis and 5 cases with distal unruptured aneurysm. All patients received endovascular stentings and 94 cases were followed up for 3 20 months. Results All of the patients underwent endovascular stenting placement successfully. The average stenosises were(79.2 ± 13.4)% before operation and(18.1 ± 9.20)% after operation.During follow-up for(10.8 ± 4.2)months,mild restenosis occurred in 9 stenosises(7.0%)among 129 lesions and no serious stroke event was found. Conclusions Endovascular stent is safe and effective in treating extra and intracranial stenosis. It is important to investigate adequately cerebral blood flow in the multiple stenosis or in complicating other kind of vascular diseases before proper treatments.

Objective To investigate the variation of coagulation markers and its clinical value in type 2 diabetes patients. Methods The plasma levels of von Willebrand factor: antigen (vWF: Ag), thrombomodulin (TM), prothrombin fragment 1+2 (F 1+2 ) and P selectin were measured by ELISA in 65 patients with type 2 diabetes (including 33 patients with vascular complication) and 38 healthy people. Results The plasma level of vWF:Ag, TM, F 1+2 and P selectin in group of type 2 diabetes were significantly higher than that of normal controls ( P

Objective To investigate the correlation between HLA-DRB71 allele and primary biliary cirrhosis(PBC)of Han pop-ulation in Qinghai plateau. Methods 95 PBC patients from March 2011 to March 2013 in the hospital were enrolled in the study (PBC group),203 cases of healthy individuals were recruited as control group.By using a sequence specific primer PCR method, the HLA-DRB71 alleles in the two groups were analyzed. Results HLA-DRB71*07 gene frequencies in PBC group and control group were 36.84% and 13.79% respectively, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).In PBC group, the other HLA-DRB71 alleles′frequency were lower than that in control group(P <0.05).There was a higher positive rate of HLA-DRB71 * 07 in PBC group than control group, and the OR value is 2.67(P <0.05).All the PCB patients carring HLA-DRB71 *07 alleles were HLA-DRB71*0701,but other subtypes such as HLA-DRB71 *0703,HLA-DRB71 *0704,HLA-DRB71 *0705,HLA-DRB71 *0706 were not found. Conclusion PBC Susceptibility might associated with HLA-DRB71 *0701 alleles, but is not an independent risk factor.

Objective To screen thyroid function among planned pregnant women in Chongqing, to guide prenatal and postnatal care. Methods Proportional multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method was adopted to enroll 11 953 planned pregnant women for questionnaire, physical examination, and serum samples collection. Results The median TSH was 2. 04 mIU/ L, P25 = 1. 36 mIU/ L,P75 = 2. 99 mIU/ L. TSH levels being normal, higher, and lower than the reference were 91. 47% , 6. 20% , and 2. 33% , respectively. In Northeast Chongqing, the proportions of median TSH level and TSH level above the upper limit were higher than those in other regions(P<0. 05). With improved education, proportions of TSH above the upper limit and below the lower limit declined(P<0. 05). With the increase in body mass index, the proportion of those whose TSH was above the upper limit showed elevated trend(P<0. 05). In women with history of adverse pregnancy outcomes, their median TSH was higher than that in the control group, and those, whose TSH level exceeded the upper limit, yield higher results than those in the control group(P<0. 05). In women with higher fasting blood glucose The median TSH level was lower than that in normal blood glucose group( P<0. 05), with the fasting plasma glucose concentration and TSH negatively correlated(P<0. 05). Conclusion The abnormal rate of TSH level in planned pregnant women was 8. 53% in Chongqing. The abnormal rate varies by different regions, education levels, body mass indexes, and blood glucose levels. Previous history of adverse pregnancy outcomes was related to elevated TSH levels. It is necessary to take pre-pregnancy thyroid function screening investigation.

Objective To explore the effect of intensity of 1 Hz repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) to right Broca's ho-mologue on nonfluent aphasia after stroke. Methods 40 inpatients were equally divided into low-intensity group and high-intensity group, who received rTMS (1 Hz for 10 minutes) once a day and twice a day respectively for 10 days. They were assessed with Western Aphasia Battery (WAB) before and after intervention, and 2 months after intervention. Results The scores of content and fluency, auditory compre-hension, naming, repetition and AQ improved more in the high-intensity group than in the low-intensity group (P<0.01). It maintained more for 2 months in the scores of content and fluency, repetition and AQ (P<0.05). Conclusion High-intensity rTMS can promote the improve-ment of speech in patients with nonfluent aphasia after stroke that remains for a long term.

Objective To explore the characteristics and rehabilitation treatment methods of young ischemic stroke combined with congenital myopathy. Methods The clinical data of one young patient with ischemic stroke combined with congenital myopathy was retrospective analyzed, and its pathological feature and rehabilitation treatment methods were also analyzed. Results The etiology may be artery dissection mural thrombus fell off. Conclusion The etiology of young ischemic stroke should be clear diagnosed, and the intensity of rehabilitation training need attention.
