Objective: To explore the correlation of plasma level N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in patients with non-diabetic acute myocardial infarction (AMI) combining stress hyperglycemia.
Methods: A total of 327 non-diabetic AMI patients treated in our hospital from 2012-02 to 2014-05 were studied. The patients were divided into 2 groups according to fasting blood glucose level:Stress group, the patients with blood glucose≥7.0 mmol/L, n=182 and Non-stress group, the patients with blood glucose<7.0 mmol/L, n=145. The basic clinical condition, laboratory tests within 24 hours of onsets, echocardiography and 24 h dynamic electrocardiogram were examined;the incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) including arrhythmia, heart failure, cardiac shock and sudden cardiac death in 2 weeks of onsets were analyzed and compared between 2 groups.
Results: The patients’ age, gender, history of hypertension, smoking, drinking, and blood levels of TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C were similar between 2 groups, P>0.05. Plasma levels of NT-proBNP, CK-MB, MYO, ultra-TnI, ALT, AST and blood glucose level were signiifcantly different between 2 groups P<0.01. NT-proBNP level was positively related to
ultra-TnI (r2=0.811, r=0.901, P<0.01). Stress group presented obviously higher incidence of MACE (P<0.05), lower LVEF (P<0.01), and signiifcantly increased left ventricular end diastolic diameter, left ventricular end systolic diameter (P<0.01) than those in Non-stress group.
Conclusion: Plasma levels of NT-proBNP may judge the severity and evaluate recent prognosis in patients with non-diabetic AMI combining stress hyperglycemia, it could be used as a risk indicator for relevant patients in clinical practice.

Objective To evaluate the growing condition of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), which were cultured on the membrane of different component, such as Chinese medicine, before or after the alkali treatment of 3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyhexanoate copolyesters (PHBHHx) and the biocompatibility between PHBHHx flim and endothelial cell. Methods The HUVECs were harvested by Baudine method, and identified by immunohistochemical method. Then the HUVECs of third passage were inoculated on the material surface and cultured for 8 hours,12 hours and 24 hours. After that, the morphology of HUVECs on different surfaces were observed by scanning electron microscopy, the distribution condition on different membranes were compared by cell-labeling immunofluorescence, and the cell viabilities of all groups were detected by MTT method. Results The HUVECs were successfully separated, and immunohistochemistry staining of FLK-1 and factor Ⅷ was positive. The result of HUVECs culture showed that cells on the material surface growed well, and proliferated significantly. The MTT analysis showed that the PHBHHx film of surface modification and adding some certain proportion of Chinese medicine could promote the growth and proliferation of HUVECs in vitro, and the cells were thriving, full shape, distribution on the surface by scanning electron microscopy and fluorescence microscopy. Conclusion The PHBHHx film of surface modification and containing certain proportion of Chinese medicine coating had good compatibility of HUVECs, which was favourable to cell growth, adherence and proliferation in vitro.

International Journal of Surgery 2019;46(12):854-856
Laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer is a common practice in the field of colorectal surgery. Ensuring oncologic safety, the occurring practices of transanal endoscopic microsurgery (TEM) and transanal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS) aims at lowering operation difficulty, optimizing eradication rate, developing economic efficiency and improving post-operative recovery. In recent years, the unique advantages of TAMIS are gradually being recognized. Comparing to TEM, TAMIS has a lower surgery cost, flatter learning curve and fewer post-operative complications, indicating high clinical value. This review will give an introduction of TAMIS from its development, clinical application and prospect.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2013;37(1):33-36
According to analyses of the real-time performance of the visual prosthesis image processing system, down-sampling is a key factor which influences the processing speed. Based on these analyses, the algorithm of grid sampled averaging was proposed for down-sampling. Then the effect of grid parameters on the result and algorithm complexity was evaluated by using the regional-averaging algorithm as a reference. Our research shows that the grid-averaging algorithm could reduce the computation burden by 90% or more, with no significant difference from the regional-averaging algorithm.

Journal of Medical Biomechanics 2015;30(5):E463-E467
Objective To compare biomechanical properties of the helical and straight long PHILOS (proximal humerus internal locking system) plates (Synthes Inc., Switzerland), so as to provide some biomechanical evidence for treating proximal metaphyseal-diaphyseal humeral shaft fractures in clinic. Methods Twelve Synbone artificial bones of right humerus (SYNBONE Inc., Switzerland) were divided into two groups. In control group (n=6), the humerus was fixed with the 10 hole long straight PHILOS plate, while in experimental group (n=6), the humerus was fixed with the same long PHILOS plate which was precontoured for moulding (i.e. helical PHILOS plate). After the proximal metaphyseal-diaphyseal humeral shaft fractures were made in all artificial bones, the biomechanical properties of the specimens in two groups under 6 loading modes (i.e., axial tension and compression, torsion in the same and reverse direction, medial-lateral and anterior-posterior three-point bending) were tested en bloc and compared. ResultsCompare with control group, under 100-500 N tensile and compressive loads, the axial displacement at the fractured end in experimental group increased by about 95% and 58%, respectively. Under 0.6-3 N•m torsional moment in reversed direction, the tensional angle in experimental group was obviously smaller than that in control group, with a decrease of 55%-64%. Under medial-lateral bending moment of 1.5 and 3 N•m, no significant difference was found in deflection of the experiment and control group, while under medial-lateral bending moment of 4.5, 6 and 7.5 N•m, the deflection in experimental group decreased by 20%-30% as compared to control group. Under 0.6-3 N•m torsional moment in the same direction and 1.5-7.5 N•m anterior-posterior bending moment, both the torsional angle and the deflection in experimental group were larger than those in control group, with a significant difference (P<0.05). Compared with control group, the tensile stiffness and compressive stiffness decreased by 49% and 36%, the torsional stiffness in the same direction decreased by 19% and that in reversed direction increased by 150%, three-point bending stiffness in medial lateral direction increased by 18% and that in anterior posterior direction decreased by 70% in experimental group, all with a significant difference (P<0.05). ConclusionsCompared with the long straight PHILO plate, the long helical PHILOS plate has better biomechanical properties, which can meet the clinical need of proximal metaphyseal-diaphyseal humeral shaft fracture fixation and postoperative rehabilitation. This surgical technique is expected to be widely applied in clinic, especially with the advantage of minimal invasive surgery.
