A non-invasive detecting and analyzing method which used to monitor the working condition of rotating anode X-ray was proposed. Based on the NI development environment, accelerometer, 24-bit high resolution data acquisition card and personal computer were connected to construct the system for collecting the vibration signal of X-ray tube. Results demonstrate that the system could acquire and store the vibration data of X-ray tube quickly and efficiently. The characteristics of vibration, were extracted and processed, which proposed a new approach to detect the malfunction of rotating anode X-ray early and effectively.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2014;38(1):76-78
OBJECTIVETo explore the dose-length product calibration method for pencil ionization chamber in cobalt beams.
METHODSThe PTW TM30009 ionization chamber was placed into the central hole of T40017 head phantom and irradiated 60 s in 20 cm x 20 cm cobalt beam. The charge was collected with UNIDOS electrometer. Absorbed doses were measured with TM30013 0.6 mL farmer-type chamber under the same condition. The CT chamber calibration factor was expressed in dose-length product. Dose linearity and spatial response were also investigated.
RESULTSThe calibration factor in dose-length product was derived from measured data. Dose linearity and spatial response were good in cobalt beams.
CONCLUSIONIt is feasible to calibrate the CT chamber in cobalt beams for patient dose evaluation in MVCT.

Journal of Southern Medical University 2010;30(6):1304-1306
OBJECTIVETo develop a new method of PET and CT cross-modality medical image fusion based on out-location frame.
METHODSPET/CT cross-modality medical images were obtained based on the out-location frame and the external fiducial marker on the frame was used for rigid medical image registration. A variation model based on the wavelet transform was used for image fusion.
RESULTSThe CT images were displayed by grey scale and overlaid with the PET images displayed by chromatic scale to obtain the image after registration and fusion.
CONCLUSIONThe method of external markers registration can be effective and accurate in achieving PET and CT image fusion.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2011;35(3):177-180
The virtual colonoscopy, virtual flattening and virtual splitting method are enhanced by the GPGPU model. The novel virtual eversion method is integrated for fast polyp detection. The experimental result showed that the system and various visualization methods can represent the colon inner-surface clearly and exactly, supporting real-time man-machine interaction. The proposed system is promising in human gastrointestinal cancer and polyp inspection.
