1.Study on painkiller effects of betelvine + sucrategel regimen in 2 traditional medical diseases Can khi pham vi and Ty vi hu han in treating chronic gastritis with helicobacter pylori.
Journal of Practical Medicine 2003;456(7):56-58
The pain relief effect of the BS procedure (Betalvine table 40 mg, 2 tables, 2 times daily) in the first 10 days and Sucrategel 1 packet of 1g, 2 times daily in followed 30 days to treat chronical gastritis with HB (+) in 16 patients with Can Khi Pham Vi and 22 patients with Ti Vi Hu Han was studied. After a course of 30 days, the BS procedure demostrated the same pain relief in these two conditions

2.Study and comparison on the relation of the results of killing HP by two procedures of betelvince + sucrategel and amoxicillin + sucrategel with the age, the morbidity duration and the severity of infection of Helicobacter pylori in the reatment of chroni
Journal of Practical Medicine 2003;459(9):49-51
Studies on patients chronic gastrohelcoma infected Helicobacter pylori (HP). These patients are similar about clinical, endoscope, histopathology and treated between 2 combine drug groups as AS (Amoxiclin, Sucrategel) and BS (Betevine, Sucrategel). The result: regiment AS and BS has effect similar for all age groups. On the other hand, it shoud combine much antibiotic species and also anti inflammatory drug. For time being ill (level injury of gastric): 2 regiments AS and BS do not depend to level injury. Level of clearance HP after treatment is proportional to level infected HP before treatment

3.Study on analgesic effect in 2 traditional medicine diseases Can khí ph?m v? and T? v? hu hàn in treating chronic gastritis with Helicobacter pylori(+) of amoxicilline + sucrategel (As) regimen
Journal of Practical Medicine 2003;466(11):24-26
34 patients aged 15-70 years, suffering from chronic gastritis infected by Helicobacter pylori were divided ino 2 groups: the 1st group of 14 patients with Can khi pham vi (CKPV) and the 2nd group of 20 patients with Ty vi hu han (TVHH) according to oriental traditional medicine classification. All subjects underwent urease test and pathohistological examinations. The treatment was conducted by the 3 day procedures of amoxicillin and sucratagel (AS). Resutls showed the pain relief effect and pain reduce effect in two forms CKPV and TVHH

5.Study on histopathological features of chronic gastritis with Helicobacter pylori and the association between them
Journal of Practical Medicine 2001;396(4):16-19
The study was conducted on 69 patients with Helicobacter pylori-related chronic gastritis that was confirmed by endoscopy, histopathological findings, urease test and culture. The severity of HP-related chronic gastritis and the HP infectivity of body and antrum of stomach followed and the relationship between severity of chronic gastritis and HP infectivity was determined. The results showed that all patients had inflammatous lesions in body and antrum. The HP incidence and infectivity were both higher in body than in antrum. The activity of inflammation and the severity of chronic inflammation in body and antrum increased positively with the HP infectivity.

6.The comparison of the efficacy of the outline of sucrategel + amoxicilline (AS) and Sucrategel + Betelvine (BS) (the total extraction from leaves of piper betle piperaceae) in the treatment of chronic gastritis's with H. pylori by histopathology
Journal of Practical Medicine 2001;401(8):35-38
The histopathological tests of 70 patients have shown that the rate of killing of H. pylori of outlines AS and BS were 51.51% and 59.56%, respectively. Both outlines had an anti-inflammatory effect and interruption of the inflammatory action with the rates of AS and BS were 42.42% and 51.35%, respectively, or reduced the inflammatory action level, concurrently recovered the level of the chronic inflammatory. The treatment of above two outlines found not influence clearly on the intestinal dysphasia and heteroplasia.

7.Primarily study on the anti-helicobater pylori effect of the total extract from leaves of piper petle in the chronic gastritis with H.pylori
Journal of Practical Medicine 2000;391(11):50-52
The anti-helicobater pylori effect of the total extract from leaves of piper petle in 60 patients with the chronic gastritis with H. pylori was carried out. The primarily results showed that the total extract had the anti-H.pylori effect in vivo, anti-imflamatory, analgesic effects and improvement of the clinical symptoms.

8.Results of the study on the anti- Helicobacter pylori in vitro of active components from leaves of peper beetle
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):22-25
Helicobacter pylori’s role in pathogenesis of gastroduodenitis and gastroduodenal ulcer has been documented in recent studies. Treatment efficacy has been changed because H.pylori get more and more persistent to treatment. Using antibiotic from herbal is the aim of our study. A product extracted from Piper beetle. L, a strongly antibiotic agent in vitro, can eradicate HP? The specimen was taken from gastric mucosa of patients with gastritis. These specimens have been crushed and cultured in brain- heart agar medium in the atmosphere of 10% CO2, and to: 37oC. If the bacteria developed, we would measure their sensitivity to total extract (Betelvine) from Piper beetle. L. 35 strains of HP developed from 56 specimens were assessed their sensitivity by using round paper pieces, which had been soaked with or Betelvine, either Tetracycline, Ampicilline, metronidazole- 100% strains of HP were sensitive to Betelvine with antibacterial rings from 12mm to 40mm.- 100% strains of HP were not sensitive to metronidazole, all antibacterial rings of metronidazole were O mm. 3,32% strains of HP were not sensitive to Tetracycline. - 12,9% trains of HP weren’t sensitive to Ampiciline.

9.Effect of sucrategel regimen with total active ingredients extracted from betel leaves on chronic gastritis with Helicobacter pylori and on H. pylori eradication: a histopathological study.
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):23-25
The study involved 37 patients with chronic gastritis and HP (+) who were diagnosed definitively by endoscopy, histopathological study, urease test and culture. A combination of Sucrategel with Betelvine, the total active ingredients extracted from betel leaves, was used for treatment. Histological findings showed that the combination had effect in HP eradication with rate of 59.46%, in anti-inflammation with rate of 51.35% and in decreasing the severity of inflammation. In the meantime, it had effect in normalizing the mucous membrane with chronic inflammation. However, no effect was observed on bowel dysplasia.

10.Effect of combination therapy between sucrategel with amoxilline for Helicobacter pylori-induced chronic gastritis and for eradication of H. pylori: a histopathological study
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):46-49
33 patients with H. pylori-induced chronic gastritis were treated by combination therapy with sucrategel and amoxicilline. Before and after treatment, the patients were given tests, included endoscopy and biopsy, histopathological test, urease test and culture for H. pylori. Histopathological findings before and after treatment were compared. The results showed that sucrategel plus amoxicilline combination was effective in H. pylori eradication in 51.51% of the patients. 42.42% of patients had remission in inflammatory or had normalization of gastric mucous membrane. For intestinal dysplasia, there was some improvement, but it was not concluded because of limitation in number of patients.
