Objective:To study the detecting rate of nonfermenters and their resistance to the antibiotics in nosocomial infections in our hospital. Methods:The bacteria were identified by VITEK-AMS, the susceptibility tests(K-B method) were done according to the NCCLS standard and the results were analyzed. Results: The detecting rate of nonfermenters was 14. 29%. The most common bacterium was P. aeruginosa (the component ratio was 44. 22%). followed by A. baumannnii (32. 17%) and S.maltophilia(9.23%). The infectious rates of nonfermenters were different at different infectious sites, with the highest rate in the respiratory system and the lowest in central nervous system. The resistant rate to the antibiotics of P. aeruginosa was 45. 21% ,of A. baumannnii 47. 85% and of S. maltophilia 64. 02%. Conclusion:The detecting rate of nonfermenters is rather high in the nosocomial infection in our hospital. Due to the high resistant rates of nonfermenters to the antibiotics , the drugs should be chosen accoding to the result of the drugs susceptibility test.

Objective To conduct the molecular epidemiologic analysis of Staphylococcus aureus (S.aureus) in the intensive care units(ICUs) and general wards and to compare their clinical characteristics. Methods Ninety-six clinically isolated strains of S.aureus(43 strains from the emergency intensive care unit(EICU) and neurosurgical intensive care unit(NICU) and 53 strains from the general wards) collected from Sepetember 2015 to April 2016 were performed the bacterial identification and antibiotic susceptibility test. The molecular typing was performed by adopting staphylococcal protein A (spa) typing method. Results Among 96 strains of S.aureus, the detection rate of methicillin-resistant S.aureus(MRSA) was 40.6%(39/96),which among 43 strains in ICU was 62.8%(27/43) and which among 53 strains in the general words was 22.6%(12/53).The resistance rates of strains from ICUs to gentamicin, levofloxacin, clindamycin, fosfomycin and minocycline were 23.3%,48.8%,46.5%,32.6% and 32.5% respectively, while which from the general wards were 7.5%,24.5%,18.9%,2.1% and 0% respectively. The Spa typing results showed that the main types of ICUs were t002,t091 and t311.The major epidemic strain was t002(n=16,37.2%) and mainly isolated from EICUs(12 strains),26 spa types were identified among the general wards trains, mainly were t189,t377,t571,t034,t091,t127.Conclusion The detection rate of MRSA in ICUs is higher than that in the general wards, these strains have high resistant rate to routine antibacterial drugs.t002 is the major epidemic strain. The general wards have more spa types with higher genetic diversity.

Objective:To construct a scientific and technological evaluation system based on the needs of the pilot program for building a national high-quality hospital and establishing a national medical center. Methods:Xiangya Hospital of Central South University gradually improved its academic evaluation system by following the guidelines outlined in national authorities′ documents regarding "abolishing the five only" and "setting new standards", adhering to the guiding principles of "quality, contribution, efficiency, and impact" and employing the principles of "high-standard evaluation, quantitative evaluation, representative work evaluation, and third-party evaluation" .Results:The hospital established a comprehensive, scientific, and quantifiable indicator pool. These indicators were applied to various aspects of medical innovation evaluation, including awarding incentives, discipline assessment, professional promotion, personnel assessment, mentor selection for graduates, and excellence evaluation. Simultaneously, the hospital developed an intelligent platform for medical innovation evaluation and assessment in university-affiliated hospitals based on performance management theory. Conclusions:Through the construction and practice of the Xiangya technology evaluation system, the hospital further improved and optimized its academic evaluation work, guiding researchers to high-quality innovation and efficient translational research, ultimately promoting the high-quality development of the hospital.

OBJECTIVETo analyze the correlation between the genotype and phenotype of 18q deletion syndrome with chromosome microarray analysis (CMA).
METHODSEight cases with 18q deletion syndrome were selected, including two affected fetuses and six children patients. DNA was extracted and hybridized with Affymetrix CytoScan TM 750K arrays following the manufacturer's standard protocol. The data was analyzed with a special software package.
RESULTSCMA analysis identified pathogenic copy number variations (CNVs) on 18q in all cases, which ranged from 6.612 Mb to 22.973 Mb. NFATC1, GALR1, MBP, SALL3 and TSHZ1 are likely to be causative genes for congenital heart disease, psychological, growth retardation, and cleft palate.
CONCLUSIONCMA can precisely locate the breakpoints of 18q and facilitate definition of the genotype-phenotype correlations, which is useful for prognosis.

In order to effectively integrate scientific research data resources and improve data utilization, the National Clinical Medical Research Center had built a "3321" -integration big data sharing innovation platform. By providing full support to scientific research, sorting out the distribution mechanism of achievements, and formulating authority management norms, the big data platform had solved the weaknesses in data sharing ability, sharing willingness, and sharing security, giving full play to the effectiveness of the clinical research big data platform. By February 2022, the center had collected more than 1.04 million elderly patients data through the big data platform, as well as carried out 75 scientific research projects, and established 10 large population-based clinical research queues. The big data platform had realized full coverage of major diseases in the field of geriatric diseases, promoted the high-quality construction of the national clinical medical research center, and improved the scientific research and innovation ability of the cooperative units.
