China Oncology 2001;0(02):-
Purpose:Constructing a high-flux tissue microarray/tissue chip and detecting IGF-Ⅱprotein expression of cases by it, and to determine the correlation between IGF-Ⅱprotein expression and lung cancer. Methods:A series of tissue chips were prepared by using tissue arrayer with samples from lung cancers of different histological classifications. Specimens from 54 cases of lung cancer and 10 cases of normal lung tissues were detected immunohistochemically on a tissue chip for IGF-Ⅱprotein expression and its correlation to clinic-pathological parameters was analyzed statistically. Results:Positive rate of IGF-Ⅱprotein in lung cancer was 42.6%(23/54), which was higher than that of normal lung(0.0%, 0/10, P0.05). Conclusions:IGF-Ⅱprotein might be related to the malignant behaviors of lung cancer. Detecting the expression of IGF-Ⅱ protein probably can predict the prognosis of lung cancer. It is feasible to utilize tissue chip for screening of clinical tissue specimens on a large scale.

Objective To describe survival of patients with aneurysm subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) and its related factors. Methods Data of 88 patients with aSAH were analyzed retrospectively, including their age, gender, past medical history, therapeutic measures, complications and prognosis, and so on. Their survival and its related factors were identified by Kaplan-Meier method and COX proportional hazard regression model. Results Eighty-eight patients were followed-up for a total of 141. 9 person-year,with an average of (1.6 ?.0) years, and the longest of 5. 6 years. Survival was 78 percent, 73 percentand 68 percent in the first month, first year and 2. 5 - 5. 6 years after onset, respectively. Administration ofnimodipine (RR = 0. 981, 95 % CI = 0. 965 - 0. 997, P = 0. 023) was potential protective factor for deaths caused by aSAH. Compared with conservative medical treatment, both surgical occlusion (RR =0. 147, 95% CI = 0. 041 - 0. 532, P = 0. 003) and intervention embolotherapy (RR = 0. 221, 95% CI = 0. 060-0. 823, P= 0.024) were also protective factors. However, complications such as hyponatremia, pulmonary infection, alimentary tract hemorrhage (RR = 1. 965, 95% CI - 1. 404 - 2. 748, P < 0. 05) and cerebral vasospasm (RR = 2. 951, 95% CI = 1. 473 - 5. 911, P = 0. 002) were independent risk factors for aSAH.Conclusions Prognosis in patients with hyponatremia, pulmonary infection, alimentary tract hemorrhage and cerebral vasospasm is unfavorable, and aneurysm occlusion by surgical operation, embolotherapy andadministration of nimodipine all can decrease fatality caused by aSAH.

Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2016;21(6):331-335
Background:CXC chemokine receptor type 2(CXCR2)is a member of G protein coupled receptor superfamily, and is mainly involved in the growth of tumor, angiogenesis and the pathogenesis of inflammatory diseases. Studies showed that CXCR2 was associated with the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD),but the exact role has not yet been clarified. It was found that the interaction of interleukin-8(IL-8)with CXCR1 and CXCR2 played an important role in the pathogenesis of IBD. Aims:To investigate the expressions and significance of CXCR2 and IL-8 in patients with IBD. Methods:A total of 121 IBD patients in active stage from October 2013 to December 2014 at Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University were enrolled and assigned into Crohn’s disease(CD)group and ulcerative colitis(UC)group. Seventy healthy subjects were served as controls(HC). Expressions of IL-8 mRNA and CXCR2 mRNA in peripheral blood and intestinal mucosal tissue were determined by real-time PCR;expression of CXCR2 protein in intestinal mucosal tissue was determined by Western blotting. Results:In peripheral blood, expression of IL-8 mRNA in UC group was significantly higher than that in HC group(P = 0. 017),while expressions of CXCR2 mRNA in CD,UC and HC groups were not significantly different (P = 0. 285). In intestinal mucosal tissue, expressions of IL-8 mRNA in CD,UC and HC groups showed no significant difference(P = 0. 206),while expressions of CXCR2 mRNA in CD and UC groups were significantly higher than that in HC group(P = 0. 002;P < 0. 001),and expression of CXCR2 mRNA in UC group was significantly higher than that in CD group(P = 0. 005);expressions of CXCR2 protein in UC and CD groups were higher than that in HC group(P = 0. 049 P =0. 080). Conclusions:Expressions of CXCR2 mRNA and protein in intestinal mucosal tissue of patients with IBD, especially UC are significantly increased. Down regulation of CXCR2 expression in intestinal mucosa may provide a new target for treatment of UC. IL-8 is significantly highly expressed in peripheral blood of patients with UC,which suggests that IL-8 might be related mainly with UC.
