Objective To discuss the change of sympathetic skin response (SSR) in patients with cerebral thrombosis with no more than 60 years old. Method SSR was measured in four positions of the center of hand palm and foot palm of 40 normal controls ( control group ) and 56 cerebral thrombosis patients (cerebral thrombosis group) no more than 60 years old. Results SSR wave shape was all educed in control group, but 21 limbs (21/224,9.4%) were not educed in cerebral thrombosis group, SSR abnormality was 80 limbs (35.7% ). SSR's latency in cerebral thrombosis group was obviously prolonged as compared with control group, and the amplitudes of SSR of upper limps and lower limbs had significance between two groups (P< 0.05 or < 0.01). There were serious abnormity within 3 days to 2 months after cerebral thrombosis. Conclusion SSR is a sensitive diagnosis method for the autonomic neuropathy of cerebral thrombosis patients of no more than 60 years old.

Objective To observe the impact of Aspergillus fumigatus conidia on the early apoptosis of alveolar epithelial cells. Methods A549 cells was first stimulated with tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)or staurosporine (STS)to induce cell apoptosis, and then co-cultured with Aspergillus fumigatus conidia of three different concentrations (5 × 10 5 ,5 × 10 6 ,5 × 10 7 )simultaneously. The changes of the apoptosis rate of A549 cells were detected by flow cytometry. Results The early apoptosis of A549 cells was increased markedly after stimulated with TNF-α ([14.94 ± 0.82 ]% vs [3.26 ± 0.74]%,χ2 =9.18,P <0.05)and STS ([18.10±1 .00]% vs [3.26±0.74]%,χ2 =12.32,P <0.05). When Aspergillus fumigatus conidia of different concentrations were added, the apoptosis rate was decreased (χ2 =31 .23,P <0.05 ).The early apoptosis of A549 cells was negatively correlated with the concentration of Aspergillus fumigatus conidia (rTNF = - 0.92,r STS = - 0.94,both P < 0.05 ). Conclusion Aspergillus fumigatus conidia inhibits the early apoptosis of A549 cells induced by TNF-αor STS and the inhibit effect increases with the concentration of Aspergillus fumigatus conidia.

Heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) is a cytoprotective enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of heme to CO, biliverdin, and iron, which together protect cells from oxidative and inflammatory damage and play an important role in maintaining cell homeostasis. In recent years, HO-1 has also been found to have antiviral biological effects, and the induced expression of HO-1 inhibits the replication of various viruses such as hepatitis C virus, hepatitis B virus, human immunodeficiency virus, dengue virus, ebolavirus, influenza A virus, Zika virus, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, human respiratory syncytial virus, hepatitis A virus and enterovirus 71. The inhibitory effect of HO-1 on these viruses involves three mechanisms, including direct inhibition of virus replication by HO-1 and its downstream products, enhancement of type I interferon responses in host cell, and attenuation of inflammatory damage caused by viral infection. This review focuses on the recent advances in the antiviral effect of HO-1 and its mechanism, which is expected to provide evidence for HO-1 as a potential target for antiviral therapy.

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2021;29(7):521-525
Clopidogrel is the most commonly used antiplatelet agent for acute coronary syndrome, ischemic stroke, and before and after percutaneous coronary intervention, and endovascular treatment of large vessel occlusive stroke, but there are individual differences in antiplatelet effect, that is, clopidogrel resistance (CR). CR is usually attributed to the decrease of the concentration of sulfhydryl metabolites in plasma, and there are many factors that cause the decrease of the concentration of sulfhydryl metabolites. This article reviews the research progress of CR-related risk factors, so that clinicians can assess the risk of CR and adopt individualized antiplatelet therapy to improve the clinical outcome of patients.
