Objective:To analyse the actual position of denture base and its relationship with the anatomic marks of alveolar ridge. Methods:According to the standardized process,10 sets of complete dentures were fabricated for edentulous patients by taking func-tional impression.Before and after completion of denture fabrication,trial wearing and full adjustment one week after application,the margin extension,thickness and form of the denture bases were measured.The relationship of denture base outline with anatomic marks of alveolar ridges was observed.Results:The most adjusted regions of upper and lower complete denture bases were hamular notch area,buccal shed area,far middle buccal corner region and retromylohyoid ridge area(P <0.05).Buccal outline of mandibular base was consistent with the external oblique ridge and the base edge corresponding to masseter muscle attachment in far middle buccal corner region was excluded from the base.Lingual outline was relieved in area of lingual frenum and was consistent with mandibular torus.Conclusion:Denture base is easily over extended in hamular notch area,buccal shed area,far middle buccal corner region and retromylohyoid ridge area.

Objective To assess the value of laparoscopic treatment of ectopic pregnancy. Methods Laparoscopic operations were performed,including injection MTX into the tube of ectopic pregnancy,linear salpingostomy,salpingectomy and partial oophorectomy. Results Among 73 cases of ectopic pregnancy,70 cases(95.9%)were confirmed as tubal pregnancy,of which there were 38 cases of tubal abortion(54.3%)and 19 cases(27.1%) of rupture.No blood was found in the abdoment in the cases of unrupture and unhappened tubal abortion,whereas there was 100ml～3,000ml blood in others.There was only spotting in the cases of unrupture and unhappened tubal abortion,and there was 10ml～80ml of bleeding in other cases.The operating time varied from 34 min to 108 min. Conclusions The laproscopic surgery can be chosen as the first method in the treatmentof ectopic pregnancy.

10%～20% of acute clinical sporatic hepatitis is hepatitis E (HE). HE has a severe diaease low mortality in general population of about 0.5～1.5%. It has been reported as severe disease and the mortality increased to 20% in pregnant women and old people. China is high-epidemic for hepatitis E virus (HEV). HEV is mainly transmitted through faecaloral route,data also showed that HEV could be transferred through blood donation. The epidemiology,diagnostics and vaccine development of HE is reviewed in this paper.

Objective To evaluate the performance of T-SPOT.TB Test and serological tuberculosis antibody(TB-Ab) in tuberculosis-assisted diagnosis.Methods Patients were diagnosed as tuberculosis from 2015 January to 2016 March in the hospital.T-SPOT.TB and tuberculosis antibody detection were performed for those patients.Results In 112 cases of tuberculosis patients,101 cases of T-SPOT.TB test were positive and the sensitivity was 90.18%,32 cases of tuberculosis antibody detection were positive and the sensitivity was 28.57%.In 41 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis,T-SPOT.TB assay showed positive results in 40 patients and the sensitivity was 97.56%,tuberculosis antibody detection showed positive results in 18 patients and the sensitivity was 43.9%;in 71 cases of extrapulmonary tuberculosis,T-SPOT.TB assay showed positive results in 61 patients and the sensitivity was 85.91%,tuberculosis antibody detection showed positive results in 14 patients and the sensitivity was 19.7%.Conclusion T-SPOT.TB was superior to serological tuberculosis antibody(TB-Ab),and the diagnosis of active tuberculosis was higher,and the sensitivity of T-SPOT.TB was higher than that of T-SPOT.TB value.

Objective To understand the current situation and influencing factors of humanistic care ability of nurses in emergency department. Methods A total of 101 nurses in the emergency department of our hospital were selected to conduct a questionnaire survey using the Humanistic Care Ability Inventory (CAI). The influencing factors of humanistic care ability of nurses in emergency department by multiple regressions were analyzed. Results The total score of humanistic care ability of emergency department nurses was 220.50 ± 3.41, and there were significant differences between the total scores of all dimensions and foreign conventional model (t=3.07-5.98, P<0.05), indicating that nurses′humanistic care ability were at a high level. In the three dimensions, the orders of the total scores from high to low were:cognitive dimension, courage dimension, and patience dimension. There was statistically significance among the different grades, different titles, family members and colleagues with different caring ability degree (F=3.92-48.98, P<0.05). The higher of the grades, the titles, and the caring degree of the family and the colleagues, the stronger the humanistic care ability was obtained. There was no significant difference between all dimension scores and the total scores of male and female nurses (t=0.93-1.70, P > 0.05). There was no difference in the humanistic care ability of nurses with different sexes. Multivariate regression analysis showed that the grades and the care degree of colleagues was the most influential factor for influencing the humanistic care ability of nurses in emergency department. Conclusions Humanistic nursing ability of emergency department nurses was at a high level. Through strengthening of the nursing ability of the low-grade nurses, it can effectively improve the nurses' humanistic nursing care ability, and promote the successful development of the quality nursing work.

AlM:To compare the functional and cosmetic effects of two different surgical techniques for congenital ptosis.
METHODS: The patients were divided into four groups according to the operation method: Patients undertook bilateral fascial suspension surgery as Group A ( 42 eyes of 21 cases ); Patients undertook bilateral levator muscle shortening surgery as Group B ( 38 eyes of 19 cases );Patients undertook unilateral fascial suspension surgery as Group C ( 24 eyes of 24 cases ); Patients undertook unilateral levator muscle shortening surgery as Group D (29 eyes of 29 cases). Each group patients were followed for postoperative function and appearance effect.
RESULTS: 1 ) Early postoperative of two operation function success rate was up to 100%, the function of levator muscle shortening surgery was 97. 01% in the late postoperative, was higher than bilateral fascial suspension surgery (87. 88%), with statistical difference in both surgerys (P<0. 05). 2) Appearance effect of two kinds of operation method in early postoperative had no statistical difference (P >0. 05); ln the late postoperative, the mean grades for “Lid Contour” and “Lid Crease” of Group B were better than that of Group A (P<0. 01). While the mean grades for “Lid Contour”, “Symmetry of Lid Height” and “Lid Crease” of Group D were similarly better than that of Group C (P<0. 01).
CONCLUSlON: Two kinds of operation method have good effects on the treatment of congenital ptosis. ln terms of cosmetic effect, levator muscle shortening surgery is better.

Objective:To investigate the oral-maxillofacial pain and t he surface electromyographic (EMG) activity of masseter muscles and anterior and posterior portions of temporalis muscles after experimental interference. Methods:A cast onlay of 0.5 mm in height was placed on the right low er first molar and remained for three days in 10 adult volunteers with normal oc clusion and without any symptom of TMD. The oral-maxillofacial pain was continu ously scored on a visual analogue scale(VAS)by the subjects before and after t he placement of the onlay. At the same time, the integral data of surface EMG we re recorded, and then the asymmetry index of the activity of bilateral muscles w as calculated. Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of radial head replacement with titanic prosthesis for comminuted fractures of the radial head associated with elbow instability. Methods From 2000 to 2003, a total of 18 patients, 13 men and 8 women (mean age, 34.8 years, range, 24-47 years) underwent radial head replacement with titanic prosthesis for comminuted fractures associated with elbow instability. All were the close fractures, left elbow in 8 and right elbow in 10 cases. 3 patients suffered multiple fractures in ipsilateral elbow, including proximal comminuted fracture of radius in 1, fracture of coronoid process in 2. 4 patients suffered simultaneous fracture in ipsilateral upper extremity, including distal fracture of radius in 3, fracture of surgical neck of humerus in 1. According to Mason classification, 10 fractures were of type Ⅲ, 7 of type Ⅳ, and 1 with Essex-Lopresti injury. 4 cases were old fractures and dislocations, the other 14 were of fresh injuries within 2 weeks. Operations were undertaken averagely in 9 days after injury (range, 4-26 days). Results Patients were followed from 12 to 44 months (average, 29 months). According to Broberg and Morrey scoring system, 8 patients (44.4%) were rated as excellent, 8 (44.4%) as good, 1 (5.6%) as fair, and 1 (5.6%) as poor. The rate of excellent and good results was 88.9%. No cases of infection, neural injury, foreign body reaction, exacerbation of cubitus valgus or deformity of wrist was found. On X-ray films, all of the titanic radial head prosthesis were stable, no shortening or proximal migration of radius, or subluxation of distal radioulnar joint was found. No sign of inflammatory reaction was noted. Mild heterotopic ossification was found in 6 elbows, but no distinct resulted limitation of locomotion. Conclusion The radial head replacement with titanic prosthesis provides an effective method for the treatment of comminuted fractures of the radial head associated with elbow instability.

OBJECTIVE:To establish an HPLC method for the determination of the content of glucose in Glucose/Sodium Chloride injection.METHODS:The determination was performed on Waters Sugar PakⅠ column with column temperature set at 80 ℃,water as mobile phase and injection volume of 20 ?L.The cell temperature of RID detector was set at 40 ℃.RESULTS:The linear range of glucose was 0.05～2.50 mg?mL-1(r=0.999 9) with the lowest detection limit of 24 ng.The average recovery ranged from 99.80% to 99.90%(RSD=0.21%).CONCLUSION:The method is simple,rapid,accurate,sensitive and reliable in operation,and it is applicable for determination of glucose in Glucose/Sodium Chloride injection.

OBJECTIVE: To establish an HPLC method with pre-column programming derivatization for the content determination of 5 kinds of amino acids in Compound ?-ketoacid tablets.METHODS: The separation was performed on C8 column(gradient elution) with column temperature at 40 ℃.OPA was used as the derivation reagent.The detection wavelength was set at 338 nm.The contents of L-lysine acetate,L-threoine,L-tryptophan,L-histidine,L-tyrosine in Compound ?-ketoacid tablets were determined.RESULTS: The linear ranges of L-lysine acetate,L-threoine,L-tryptophan,L-histidine,L-tyrosine were 0.10～5.25 mg?mL-1(r=0.999 9),0.052～2.65 mg?mL-1(r=0.999 8),0.022～1.15 mg?mL-1(r=0.999 9),0.038～1.91 mg?mL-1(r=0.999 7),0.030～1.51 mg?mL-1(r=1.000 0),respectively.The average recovery was 99.8%～100.1%(RSD=0.1%).CONCLUSION: This method is exclusive,sensitive and reliable for the content determination of amino acids in Compound ?-ketoacid tablets.
