Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the distribution of body weight related index and to explore the relationship between weight related index and cardiovascular diseases in rural residents in Yunnan Province. Methods By random cluster sampling method,rural residents were selected in Yunnan Province. The data were collected by face-to-face questionnaire and medical examination. Results 4070 rural residents in Yunnan participated in this study. The survey results showed that gender,age,education level and ethnicity affected both the distribution of body weight related index and low body weight,overweight,obesity,and central obesity(P < 0.05). Compared with low body weight,non overweight,non obesity and non central obesity group,non low body weight,overweight,obesity and central obesity group had higher prevalence rate of hypertension(P < 0.01). Among central obesity group,the prevalence rate of coronary heart disease was higher than non central obesity group(P < 0.01). Conclusion The distribution of body weight related index in rural residents of Yunnan province showed some special characteristic. The overweight,obesity,and central obesity were related to cardiovascular diseases. Change unhealthy living habits or behavior as well as improving their cultural quality have effects on controlling body weight related index and help to reduce the prevalence rates of overweight,obesity and central obesity which can further reduce the prevalence rates of cardiovascular diseases.

Objective To explore the application of ultrasound- guide modified Seldinger technique for upper arm PICC insertion in infant patients. Methods Use the ultrasound-guide modified Seldinger technique to inserted PICC for 27 infant patients. Results All 27 cases were inserted successfully, success rate of the one puncture reached 92.6%. Conclusions By adequate preparation for infants, effective immobilization and good cooperation of operators, and combined with techniques which prevent PICC misplacement, overcome the shortcoming of bad vessel and non-compliance of infant patients, develop the advantage of ultrasound, could improve the rate of successful catheterization of upper arm PICC insertion in infant patients, and protect the vessels.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the curative efficacy of granulocyte macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) as an adjunctive therapy for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). METHODS: Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of GM-CSF in the treatment of AML were retrieved from PubMed,EMBase,Cochrane Library,CBMdisc and CNKI database by computer as well as from the leukemia-related journals manually for a quality evaluation of the methodology and Meta analysis using RevMan5.0 software. RESULTS: A total of 10 RCTs were included,of which,3 RCTs were graded as A,5 as B and 2 as C. The results demonstrated that there were no significant differences of indexes among groups as complete remission (CR) rate,relapse rate,infection rate and length of hospital stay,etc. CONCLUSION: The available clinical research results showed that GM-CSF adjunctive therapy could neither increase CR rate,nor decrease the relapse rate,infection rate or length of hospital stay.

Objective To investigate the effect of compound catechu anti-diarrhea ointment on the expression of aquaporin3 (AQP3) in the colonic tissues of diarrhea rat model, and the mechanism thereof. Methods Forty SD rats were randomly divided into four groups:blank control group, model control group, positive control group and compound catechu anti-diarrhea ointment group. Rats were given 6 g blank matrix cream in model control group, 2 mL suspension of berberine in positive control group and compound catechu anti-diarrhea ointment in compound catechu anti-diarrhea ointment group, two times/d for 7 d. The rat model of diarrhea was established by using senna intragastric administration. The water content of feces was measured. The expression of AQP3 in colonic tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry assay. Results The water contents of feces were significantly higher in model control group (64.09±0.41)%than those of other three groups (F=53.879,P＜0.05). There was no significant difference in the water content of feces between compound catechu anti-diar-rhea ointment group (48.83 ± 1.08)%and positive control group (46.87 ± 2.19)%. The AQP3-positive cells were mainly ex-pressed in the intestinal mucosa. The dyeing index was significantly lower in model control group (0.85±0.18) than that of other three groups (F=14.971,P＜0.05). There was no significant difference in the dyeing index between compound catechu anti-diarrhea ointment group (1.30±0.18) and positive control group (1.37±0.14). Conclusion Compound catechu anti-di-arrhea ointment can significantly reduce the water contents of feces, which may be related to the increased AQP 3 expression in colonic tissues.

Objective To explore role of 64-slices spiral CT in differetiation of acute chest pains.Methods Thirty six patients with acute chest pains were performed 64-slices spiral CT chest angiography.Two-dimensional and three-dimensional reconstruction was performed in all patients by means of multiplanar reconstruction(MPR)(coronal,sgittal oblique),curved planar reformation(CPR), maximum intensity projection(MIP),and volume rendering(VR).All images were blindly reading by two experienced radiologist.DSA were performed at the same time in 16 cases.Results The coronary artery branches,pulmonary artery and aortic artery in all patients were showed clearly,The acute myocardial infarction were showed in 10 cases,The pulmonary artery embolism in 14 cases,The aortic dissection in 6 cases respectively,The Coronary embolism in One case ,pneumothorax In One case The constrictive pericarditis in 1 case respectively.Normal findings in 4 cases.Conclusion 64-slices spiral CT is a useful and noninvasive examination in acute chest pain.

OBJECTIVETo observe the dose-effect relationship of electroacupuncture of different current intensities combined with Morphine of different dosage on alleviating the rats' tibial cancer pain, and explore the possible mechanism, which could provide the experiment basis for alleviating the tibial cancer pain by electroacupuncture combined with Morphine.

METHODSOne hundred female Wistar rats were randomly divided into a normal group, a model group and eight treatment groups, 10 cases in each group. The rats in the treatment groups were treated by combined therapies of electroacupuncture of different intensities with 2 Hz /100 Hz dense-disperse wave on "Jiaji"(EX-B 2)and different dosage Morphine in 2 factor 3 level conditions, once a day for 6 days. The pain thresholds were observed before the treatment and 0 min, 1 h, 2 h and 5 h after the first treatment as well as after 3 and 6 times of treatments. The glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) expression was determined by immunohistochemical method.

RESULTSThe rats' pain thresholds were significantly increased with electroacupuncture of 2 mA and 1 mA (all P < 0.01) on the 0 min, 1 h and 2 h of the first treatment, between which there were no significant differences (all P > 0.05). The pain threshold was still increased by electroacupuncture of 2 mA on the 5 h of the treatment (P < 0.01), while that of 1 mA failed to take effect (P > 0.05). After 3 and 6 times of treatments, both electroacupuncture of 2 mA and 1 mA had the effect of increasing the pain threshold (all P < 0.01), and the effect of 2 mA was superior to that of 1 mA (P < 0.05), had the synergistic effect with 5 mg/(kg x d) Morphine (P < 0.05). After 6 times of treatments, both electroacupuncture of 2 mA and 1 mA could inhibit the expression of GFAP (both P < 0.01), and there was no significant difference between them (P > 0.05). Both of 5 mg/(kg x d) and 2.5 mg/(kg x d) of Morphine, however, didn't bring about inhibition effect (P > 0.05).

CONCLUSIONThere is a does-effect relationship on electroacupuncture of different current intensity for alleviating the tibial cancer pain in rats. The electroacupuncture with 2 mA, which is better than that with 1 mA, has the synergistic effect with 5 mg/(kg x d) of Morphine. The electroacupuncture can inhibit the expression of GFAP to cooperate with Morphine for the purpose of alleviating the rats' tibial cancer pain.

Biotechnology is one of the important areas of Beijing’s high-technology industry. Steadily progress had been obtained after 1995. Beijing has predominance in this area, such as research and development, talents, clinic, and so on. The development of Beijing biotechnology industry in recent years was focused, and the main challenges and relative suggestions were proposed.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of MRI-guided vacuum-assisted breast biopsy in domestic clinical prac tice.Methods A total of 45 patients with 45 suspicious breast lesions were examined with MRI-guided vacuum assisted bi opsy.The complications were observed.And the followed-up was performed.Results In 45 suspected breast lesions,43 lesions (43/45,95.56％) were successfully sampled under MRI-guided vacuum-assisted biopsy and the pathologic diagnosis was obtained.For another 2 lesions (2/45,4.44％),the pathology diagnosis were not obtained.The time to perform MRI-guided biopsy was (45.87±8.41)min for one lesion.The 5 malignant lesions (5/45,11.11％) confirmed by biopsy pathology were consistent with postoperative pathological results.For the 38 benign lesions (38/45,84.44％) confirmed by biopsy pathology,there was no malignant performance found in MRI follow-up for 6 months.Because of successful MR imaging-guided core biopsy findings,the clinic treatments were changed in 14 patients (14/45,31.11％).Five cases (5/45,11.11％) with malignant tumors were diagnosed early.The surgical biopsy was avoided in 9 benign cases (9/45,20.00 ％) who suspected as malignant.In all 45 patients,no complications occurred,such as hematoma and infection.Con clusion MRI-Guided vacuum-assisted breast biopsy is sufficient and safe for obtaining histologic proof of lesions,and plays an important role in guiding clinic treatment of some lesions visible only by MRI.

AIM: To investigate the influence and mechanism of blue light on the proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial cells.METHODS: Cells were divided into two groups,including blue light group and control group.The 35W white light lamp with blue filter was used to establish damaged RPE cell model in vitro.Blue ray wavelength ranged between 470nm and 520nm.And the light intensity was about 2000Lx.After exposure to blue light,we tested the proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial cells by CCK-8 kit.And then expression of miR-103 was measured by the real-time PCR.RESULTS: Exposure to blue light inhibited the proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial cells and increased the expression of miR-103.Moreover,up-regulation of miR-103 inhibited the proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial cells,and down-regulates miR-103 promoted the proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial cells.CONCLUSION: Blue light inhibits the proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial cells by the up-regulation of miR-103.
