Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of intravitreous injection with triamcinolone acetonide (TA) for cystoid macular edema (CME) due to central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO). Methods Fourteen eyes of 14 patients with CME due to CRVO underwent intravitreous injection with 0.1 ml TA (40 mg/ml). Best-corrected visual acuity, intraocular pressure (IOP), slitlamp examination, fundus fluorescein angiography, and optical coherence tomography (OCT) were performed on the patients before and after the injection. The follow-up period was 10-22.4 months, with the mean of 15.9 months. Results The average visual acuity was 0.1 before the treatment; while 1 month and 3 months after the injection, the visual acuity of all of the patients improved, including ≥0.2 in 71.43% and 63.6% of the patients, respectively, and ≥0.5 in 42.9% and 27.3%, respectively. After then, the visual acuity of some patients decreased, and in the final visit, 4 eyes (28.6%) had a visual acuity of ≥0.2, and 1 eye (7.1%) of ≥0.5. Compared with that before the treatment, the visual acuity of 10 (71.4%) eyes improved and 4 (28.6%) eyes declined. One month after the treatment, the macular edema disappeared in 10 eyes (71.4%) and alleviated in 4 (28.6%). In the final visit, macular edema disappeared in 4 eyes, alleviated in 9, and aggravated in 1. In the follow-up duration, high IOP [22.3-40.1 mm Hg (1 mm Hg=0.133 kPa)]. In the final visit, posterior subcapsular cataract was found in 7 eyes. Conclusion Intravitreous injection with TA may be effective in reducing CME and enhancing the visual acuity in a short term with high IOP in some eyes. In the long-term follow-up period, the rate of recurrence of CME and incidence of posterior subcapsular cataract is high.

Objective:To investigate the open method(OC) and laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) after bile duct dilation incidence of contrast.Methods:collected from 2006 December to 2014 December in the department of hepatobiliary surgery requires 412 patients underwent cholecystectomypatients hospitalized with cholecystolithiasis,chronic cholecystitis,gallbladderpolyps,were randomly divided into LC group and OC group,LC group of 207 cases,205 cases in OC group,and were respectively treated with LC and OC.Start regular follow-up after a month,the comparison of 2 surgical operation time,blood loss and postoperative application of antibiotics time,anus exhaust time,eating time and hospitalization time.And to observe the two groups the incidence of patients after bile duct dilatation in follow-up after operation.Results:207 cases of LC patients were 89 patients had bile duct dilation,205 cases of OC patients were 41 patients had bile ductdilation,statistically significant differences between the two groups (P＜0.05).In group LC,the diameter of common bile duct in operation half months began to increase,the increase continued until 3 months after operation.After 3 months of little change in the diameter of common bile duct.The averagepreoperative bile duct diameter is 5.3 mm,after 6.1 mm,there was significant difference(P＜0.01).Conclusion:LC is a safe and reliable operation method,Identifying cause dilatation of common bile duct after LC operation and attention as soon as possible to give the corresponding prevention and treatment,further can reduce complications occur.

Objective To observe the therapeutic efficacy of focal vibration on shoulder-hand syndrome (SHS) in stroke patients.Methods Two stroke patients with SHS were observed.Both patients were treated with routine interventions including exercises,manipulation,intermittent sequential pneumatic compression,medications etc at the beginning,but got no significant improvement after 4 weeks of treatment.Focal vibration was then added on by applying it on the affected side for 10-12 minutes,once daily for 2 weeks.The SHS scoring system developed by Braus and colleagues was used to evaluate the outcome.Results It was found that after 2 weeks of treatment with focal vibration,both patients were improved significantly,in terms of pain,edema and shoulder range of movement,as reflected by the changes of SHS scores.The SHS scores of both patients were 12 before treatment with focal vibration and reduced to 5 after the treatment.Conclusions Focal vibration could be an effective option for the management of SHS in stroke patients.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects and side effects of recombinant erytropoietin(rEPO)on patients with anemia in chronic renal failure(CRF).METHODS:128 patients with anemia in CRF had been given rEPO by subcutaneous injection for12weeks,the clinical effects were observed by own control method.RESULTS:Excellence cases amounted 91,efficacy cases33,and the overall efficacy rate was96.88%;The side effects included hypertension,coagulation in dialysis machine,pain in injection site and head,no severe adverse drug reactions were found;No degradation in renal function was found in non-dialysis patients during the medication.CONCLUSIONS:rEPO could improve anemia in CRF safely and effectively.

The prognosis in patients with cerebral hemorrhage is poor. Studies have shown that cerebral microbleeds are closely related with intracerebral hemorrhage. Cerebral microbleeds may be a precursor to the occurrence or recurrence of intracerebral hemorrhage. This article reviews the relationship between cerebral microbleeds and intracerebral hemorrhage from the aspects of epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, clinical observation, and complications of cerebral hemorrhage.

Objective To investigate deanxit clinical efficacy of depression in elderly patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS).Methods 88 elderly patients with ACS and depression were randomly divided into Deanxit (2 tablets daily ; Deanxit,n =43) or placebo (control,n =45) treatment in addition to standard therapy.SDA score,SDS score,MACE and cardiac autonomic nerve function were performed at 12 weeks follow-up.Results In deanxit group,SDA score and SDS score were significantly reduced (34.28 ± 6.35 vs 52.68 ± 5.74,41.19 ±4.63 vs 54.68 ± 4.32,P ＜ 0.05),MACE were also decreased (4.6％ vs 28.9 ％,P ＜ 0.05).SDNN were significantly higher than control (109.03 ± 23.08 vs 98.29 ± 27.44,P ＜ 0.05),but LF was reduced (152.89 ± 92.75vs 249.21 ± 64.17,P＜ 0.05).Conclusion Deanxit can improve the depression and clinical symptoms in elderly patients with ACS and depression.By improving the cardiac autonomic nerve function,deanxit possible reduce the onset of severe arrhythmia and improve the short-term prognosis.

Objective To evaluate the use of stapling anterior resection for rectal cancer. Methods Data of 1036 patients undergoing anterior resection for rectal cancer during 1983 to 2000 were reviewed retrospectively. Clinical results were compared statistically between patients who received stapling anastomosis (group A, n=652) and those did not (group B, n=384). Results The annual average stapler anterior resection increased from 5 cases per year (during 1983-1987) to 147 cases per year (1998-2000). The 0? Ⅰ? Objective To examine the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) of retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells, thus assessing the role of mechanism of contact inhibition playing in the process of experimental retinal detachment and reattachemnt. Methods Retinal detachment was produced in 72 cats by subretinal injection of 0.25% solution of healon through a micropipette three weeks after extracapsular lens extraction and vitrectomy. Some of the detached retinae were reattached 24 hours later. At different time, the cats were killed and eye globes were fixed and embeded in paraffin. Histologic sections were processed for immunohistochemistry examination using an antibody to detect PCNA protein. Labeled RPE cells were identified, and the proliferation was quantified in detached and un detached retinae of detachment group, and also in reattached retinae of reattachment group. The comparsion of PCNA labeled RPE cells in different groups were analyzed by ANOVA. Results In detached regions of detachment group, PCNA expression of RPE cells occured within 24 hours, and reached a maximum after 5 6 days, then gradually declined to barely detectable levels after 20 days. Similar tendency was found in reattached retinae, but the number of PCNA labeled RPE cells was obviously small. Fewer PCNA labeled RPE cells were found in regions of un detached retinae in detachment group. The difference of these three groups was significant. Conclusion Proliferation of RPE cells is induced when they lose contact with neural retina, but inhibited after neural retina reattached to RPE cells. It suggests that the mechanism of contact inhibition plays a role in the proliferative process after retinal detachment and reattachment.
