Standardizing and unifying science and technology term is important to improve science and technology progress, support development of branch of learning and communicate with foreign. While, there are some deficiency in extending and using standard science and technology term in domestic, all science and technologyh works should use standard science and technology term actively.

Following problems such as scientificalness absent in study design,incorrect data,paper title not accorded with fact,unreasonable personalization and style or manner of writing not oneness or coherence are often seen in academic papers of rehabilitation medicine.The authors of papers should pay attention to these problems.

Aim To prepare and qualitatively control the water extracts bioactive compounds (Danshen Gubao Ⅱ) from Danshen(Salvia miltiorrhiza) and to evaluate the effects of Danshen Gubao Ⅱ on osteoblast in vitro.Methods Danshen Gubao Ⅱ was extracted from salvia miltiorrhiza with a diluted hydrochloric acid method. The HPLC was used to determine the amounts of the bioactive compounds.PNPP methods were developed for the estimation of pharmacodynamic action by testing osteoblast activity (ALP expression).Results Compared Danshen Gubao Ⅱ with the ordinary water extract of salvia miltiorrhiza(DUAE Ⅰ), the amount of danshensu (main compound of salvia miltiorrhiza) was elevated to 3.28 times,11.50?0.52 mg?g-1, the amount of salvianolic acid B was reduced 1.46 times,16.40?1.22 mg?g-1,and each of their content was 1%～1.5%,the amount of protocatechualdehyde was elevated to 1.46 times,0.233?0.02 mg?g-1. The activity of Danshen Gubao Ⅱ on osteoblast was stronger than that of DUAE Ⅰ, 0.25 mg?L-1 of Danshen Gubao Ⅱ elevated 52%?10% osteoblast ALP expression,1.0 mg?L-1 of DUAE I elevated 5.5%?0.3% osteoblast ALP expression, and the results indicated that Danshen Gubao Ⅱ had more capacity on the osteoblast.Conclusions Danshensu, salvianolic acid B, protocatechualdehyde were stabilized in contents from Danshen Gubao Ⅱ, which could be qualitatively controlled.Danshen Gubao Ⅱ had good effect on osteoblast, which provided new data for the research of salvia miltiorrhiza's anti-osteoporosis preparation.

Objective To investigate the correlation between immediate postoperative platelet count with liver failure after partial hepatectomy in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods The clinical data of 71 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma who underwent liver resection at the Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery Department of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital from July 2013 to August 2015 were retrospectively analyzed.The clinical diagnosis was confirmed by pathology of the resected specimens.Based on postoperative platelet count within 2 h,the patients were divided into the low platelet count (PLT ＜ 100 × 109/L) group (n =24,33.8％) and the normal platelet count (PLT ≥ 100 × 109/L) group (n =47,66.2％).The correlations between immediate postoperative platelet count with serum indexes including serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT),aspartate aminotransferase (AST),total bilirubin (TBil) and direct bilirubin (DBil) were analyzed,and the incidences of posthepatectomy liver failure was also evaluated in these two groups.Results There was no re-operation and perioperative death in this study.Among the 71 patients,25 patients (35.2％) developed postoperative complications (grade Ⅰ to Ⅲ),and 8 patients (11.3％) suffered from postoperative liver failure (grade A).When compared with the normal platelet count group,the low platelet count group had significantly increased risks of postoperative liver failure (29.2％ vs 2.1％,X2 =11.618,P ＜ 0.05),increased postoperative peaks of ALT,AST,TBil and DBil levels [(462.5 ±135.7)U/L vs (307.9 ± 192.6) U/L,(440.0 ± 163.3) U/L vs (265.8 ± 155.8) U/L,(29.5 ±9.1) μmol/L vs (17.9 ±8.8) μ mol/L,t =3.507,4.385,5.129,P ＜0.05,respectively] and longer normalization time of liver function.Multiple Logistic regression analyses revealed that an immediate postoperative low platelet count was an independent risk factor of posthepatectomy liver failure.Conclusions The platelet count was associated with the incidence of postoperative liver failure after partial liver resection in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.Patients with an immediate postoperative low platelet count suffered from a high incidence of posthepatectomy liver failure and delayed liver function recovery.

Regulation of gene expression is one of the most importa nt responses of cells to DNA damage induced by radiation. A novel expressed seq u ence tag (EST) fragment had been cloned from human embryo lung cells induced by 50cGy radiation and named RIG1. To clone the full-length cDNA of RIG1, a non-c loned cDNA library of human embryo lung cells induced by low dose irradiation ha d been established. This library was used as template in enchanced nest RACE PCR and biotin-labeled probe was used for further purification. The 3′ flanking s equence of this EST was cloned and sequenced with this set of technology. It was illuminated by homology analysis that this 3′ flanking sequence and the origin al EST are well aligned with a BAC clone of 20th chromosome and the predic ted exons sequence of this chromosome is well consisten ce with the real EST. Thus the RIG1 can be roughly located in 20th chromos ome. By use of the exons sequence predicted from chromosome sequence by GENSCA N, full-length of RIG1 gene has been cloned. Chromosome location of RIG1 gene i s further determined by this successful verification of Bioinformatics predictio n by experiment. By the same step, genome sequence of RIG1 has been determined. Therefore,by the combined use of Bioinformatics analysis，the full-length cDNA sequence and genome sequence of RIG1 gene are obtained and the predicted protei n sequence is determined.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for improving the teaching quality of the course of Drug Abuse and ADR Moni-toring in pharmacy master degree candidates. METHODS:In Pharmacy College of Jilin University,traditional teaching method was adopted among pharmacy master degree candidates of grade 2014(n=30,control group);case teaching method was adopted for the course of Drug Abuse and ADR Monitoring among those of grade 2015 (n=32,observation group). The teaching effects were evaluated by questionnaire and examination. RESULTS:Theoretical examination result and case analysis score as well as the rate of excellent case analysis score in observation group were all significantly higher than control group,with statistical signifi-cance (P<0.05). The satisfaction degree of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group in respects of teaching methods,arousing interest in classroom learning,establishing the awareness of safe and rational drug use,with statistical significance (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:For the course of Drug Abuse and ADR Monitoring in pharmacy master degree candi-dates,case teaching method improves students'exam results,stimulates students'interest and enthusiasm,promotes the establish-ment of students'safe and rational drug use consciousness and improves teaching quality.

Objective:To observed the effects of electroacupuncture frequency on the nerve function and postsynaptic destination-95 (PSD-95), growth associated protein-43 (GAP-43) in brain tissue of rats with cerebral ischemia were observed.Methods:Healthy adult male SD rats were randomly divided into the blank group, sham operation group, model group and 2 Hz, 50 Hz, 100 Hz electroacupuncture groups. MCAO models were prepared in each group, except blank group and sham operation group. After modeling, Qiansanli and Waiguan acupoints were given stimulation with 2 Hz, 50 Hz and 100 Hz respectively in 2 Hz electroacupuncture group, 50 Hz electroacupuncture group and 100 Hz electroacupuncture group, 1 time/d and 20 min/time for 21 consecutive days. All groups were scored by Bederson score on the 1st, 3rd, 7th, 14th and 21th day after operation. The ultrastructure of synapses was observed by transmission electron microscope, and the positive expression of PSD-95 and GAP-43 was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results:After modeling 7, 14 and 21 days, compared with the model group, the Bederson behavioral score (1.70 ± 0.52 vs. 2.40 ± 0.56, 1.20 ± 0.65 vs. 2.30 ± 0.46, 0.70 ± 0.72 vs. 2.00 ± 0.86) in 50 Hz electroacupuncture group significantly decreased ( P<0.01 or P<0.05). The expression of PSD-95 (58.67 ± 1.72, 55.22 ± 2.45, 60.10 ± 2.49 vs. 70.87 ± 2.34) intergral optical density of rats’ cortex in 2 Hz, 50 Hz, 100 Hz electroacupuncture groups significantly decreased ( P<0.01), the expression of GAP-43 in 2 Hz and 50 Hz electroacupuncture groups (58.89 ± 1.28, 64.76 ± 3.94 vs. 53.24 ± 2.58) significantly increased ( P<0.01). Conclusions:Electroacupuncture with different frequency can improve motor nerve disfunction of cerebral ischemia rats, and 50 Hz electroacupuncture group showed the most obvious effect. It can regulate PSD-95 and GAP-43 expressions of ischemic area, lower neural excitatory toxicity, increase neuronal axon regeneration and exert the neural protect function.

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of flexible ureterorenoscopy (F-URS) with holmium laser lithotripsy in managing symptomatic caliceal diverticular calculi. Methods The records of 23 patients by flexible ureterorenoscopy (F-URS) with holmium laser lithotripsy in managing symptomatic caliceal diverticular calculi from January 2008 to December 2010 were retrospectively reviewed.The 23 cases included 15 males and 8 females,aged from 23 to 68 years.All patients had unilateral calyceal diverticulum stone,with 11,9,and 3 cases had a caliceal diverticular stone in the upper pole,midkidney,and lower pole,respectively.Sand-like stones were observed in most caliceal diverticular.The diameter of the largest stone was 18.9 mm.The presenting symptoms were flank pain,recurrent urinary tract infections,and hematuria.One week before operations,all patients was placed Double-J stent and underwent intravenous urography and renal computed tomography (CT).The ureteral access sheath was placed firstly during operation,and then ureterorenoscope was inserted into the renal pelvis.The diverticular neck was incised with holmium laser if needed,and a 200um holmium laser fiber was used to crush diverticular stone. Results Flexible ureterorenoscopes were successfully placed in all patients.Postoperatively,15 (65.3％patients were rendered stone free (SF),5 patients had clinically insigni? cant residual fragmentsless than 4 mm )( CIRF),and a residual fragment (RF) was found in three patients.The success rate ( SF ± CIRF) was 87.0％.All patients were symptom free after operation.The average operative time and hospital stay were 60 minutes and 3.5 days,respectively.No severe complications occured.A follow-up of 6 -12 months showed no recurrence. Conclusions F-URS using a holmium laser lithotripsy is a safe and effective,and may be offered as a first line therapy for symptomatic caliceal diverticula calculi.
