OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of Xiaoyu anshen capsule on the space learning-memory ability of chronic stress-induced depressed model rats.METHODS:The enrolled rats were divided into 6 groups:blank control group,model group,Fluoxetine group,Xiaoyu anshen capsule groups(high,medium and low dose).Chronic depression rat model was induced by chronic stress and isolated breeding.Water-maze video tracking analysis system was used to detect the capacity of rats' space learning-memory,and the indexes such as the body weight of rats before and after modeling and the consumption of sucrose,etc.were measured.RESUTLS:Compared with the blank control group,the model control group showed significantly decreased space learning-memory capacity,significantly lower in body weight increase and significantly less sucrose solution consumption.Compared with the model control group,the high,medium and low dose Xiaoyu anshen capsule-treated group showed significantly shortened escape latency,the high and medium dose groups showed increased number of times of crossing the hidden platform and body weight increase,and in high dose Xiaoyu anshen capsale group sucrose consumption increased.CONCLUSION:Xiaoyu anshen capsule is a nootropic Chinese herbal medicine for its inhibitory effect on the abnormality in body weight and sucrose solution consumption of chronic stress-induced depressed model rats and their action in enhancing the space learning-memory ability.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of preoxidation on the bonding strength of titanium to porcelain.Method:12 titanium plates(25 mm?3 mm?0.5 mm) were pre-oxidated according to usual preoxidation procedure and 12 without preoxidation were used as the controls.The samples(6 in each group) were then bonded with bonding porcelain,opaque porcelain,dentin porcelain and glaze of Duceratin(Degussa) or Vita titankeramik(Vita) respectively.The bonding strength of Ti/porcelain was evaluated using three-point bending test according to ISO 9693 1990 standard. The interface of Ti/porcelain bonding was observed by SEM.Results:Bonding strength(MPa) of Ti/Duceratin preoxided group and the corresponding control was 41.910?2.778 and 33.097?5.297(P0.05),respectively.SEM observation showed inter-lock and tight bonding of Ti/porcelain in pre-oxidated interface,more cracks and gaps between Ti and porcelain in non-pre-oxidated interface.Conclusion:Pre-oxidation may improve bonding strength of Ti/Duceratin system, while has no significant effect on bonding strength of Ti/Vita titankeramik system.

Objective:To study the feasibility of microarc oxide treatment on the enhancement of titanium-ceramic bonding strength. Method:Titanium samples in the size of 25 mm?3 mm?0.5 mm were prepared with smooth surface(group 1),rough surface(group 2) and microacrc oxide treated surface(group 3). Nickel-chromium alloy samples in the same size were prepared (group 4). The surface of the samples was observed by scanning electron microscope(SEM) and dispersive spectrometry analysis. Then, the samples were bonded to porcelain. The bonding interface was observed by SEM. The bonding strength of the samples was measured by a three-point bending test according to ISO 9693.Results:Microarc oxide treated surface was rough and porous. The interface of microarc oxide treated surface bonded to porcelain was compact. The bonding strength(MPa) of the samples of group 1,2,3 and 4 to porcelain was 30.79?1.3,36.12?3.03,45.84?3.15 and 48.35?3.06 respectively(group 3 vs group 1 or 2 P0.05). Conclusion:The microarc oxide treatment on titanium can increase the titanium-ceramic bond strength.

Objective:To study the effects of different ratios between adhesive and solidification agent on the investment of titanium and to investigate the physical properties of the adhesive on different time intervals.Methods:Mixed adhesive with solidification agent according to different ratio:14∶1,14.5∶1,15∶1.Twelve wax sheet patterns(10 mm?10 mm?0.8 mm)were invested,and then the castings were fabricated.Manipulation performance,appearance of the casting mold,and color of the castings as well as their integrity and edge clarity were observed.The more ideal proportion was selected and determined.Dynamic viscosity,density and pH value of the adhesive were measured on different days(1,3,5 and 7 days).Results:With a adhesive or solidification agent ratio of 14∶1,the solidified time was comparatively short and unable to operate,while with a ratio of 15∶1,the solidified time was too long to solidify and led to the distorted castings.In group with a ratio of 14.5∶1,the primary gel time,intact mold and cast gate were appropriate.The surface of the castings showed bright,metal color after sand blasting.Dynamic viscosity,consistency and pH value of different days for the adhesive had no significant difference.Conclusion:Favorable casting can be fabricated for adhesive mixing with solidification agent when the ratio was 14.5∶1.The adhesive has steady capability in 7 days in practical condition.

Objective: To study the inhibition of antisense TRP1 on cell growth of malignant melanoma(MM) and explore a new way for therapy of melanoma. Methods: Antisense TRP-1 recombinant vector was constructed and transfected into MM cells. According to the results of MTT, cell growth curves were drawn and then clonogenic assay was performed in vitro. At last, tumorigenesis assay was undertaken in nude mice in vivo. Results: Cell proliferations of TRP-1 transfected MM cells were inhibited compared with the control cells. Objective To investigate the effects of DanzhiⅠ on rats acute skin trauma model.Method Perforate back of the rats was made with special puncher to establish acute trauma model.Wound surface was applied with Danzhi Ⅰ and the healing process was observed.Result Danzhi Ⅰ significantly shrinked the rim of raw surface and shorten the time of healing.The number of completely healed rats increased obviously.Conclusion Danzhi Ⅰ can significantly accelerate the healing of acute skin trauma of rats.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of laboratory tests in the renal damage early diagnosis of children with Henoch-Schoalein purpura (HSP) and clinical effect of early intervention.Methods For the 143 HSP patients with normal repeated urine routine test findings,renal function biomarkers including urinary proteins ( immunoglobulin G (IgG),micro-albumin ( MA ),transferrin (TRF),a1 -microglobulin ( α1 -MG),β2-Microglobulin (β2-MG) ) and urinary enzymes ( N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminidase ( NAG ),γ-glutamyltransferase (y-GT) ) were detected to investigate the details of renal function changes.One hundred and thirty-one HSP patients,who had abnormal laboratory test findings of renal function biomarkers mentioned above,were randomly divided into control group ( n =65 ) and intervention group ( n =66 ),and both groups received comprehensive treatment including cimetidine,loratadine and calcium agents.However,66 patients in intervention group received low-dose heparin via micropump-based continuous intravenous infusion and regular oral diammonium glycyrrhizinate treatment.Sixty-five patients were enrolled in control group,without further treatment.Results Among the 143 patients with normal urine routine examination,131 cases (91.61％ ) had abnormal findings of renal function biomarkers.After therapy either for 2 months or 4 months,urine protein and urine enzymes were lower than before treatment,and the difference was significant (P ＜ 0.01 ).In the control group only β2-MG,NAG,γ-GT3 indexes significantly lowered at the end of 2 months ( P ＜0.01 ),and all parameters were significantly decreased at the end of 4 months ( P ＜0.01 ).Furthermore,Intervention group had lower levels of renal function biomarkers at the end of 2 months or 4 months,as compared with the control group,showing significant difference ( P ＜0.05 or P ＜0.01 ).Urinary IgG,MA,TRF,NAG recovered rapidly in the intervention group after 4 months and almost returned to the normal,but urinary α1-MG,β2-MG,γ-GT recovered slowly and still remained abnormal after 4 months due to the varying severity.After treatment for 4 months,the rate of urine testing abnormalities was higher in the control group than in the intervention group (36.92％ vs 6.10％ ),and the difference was significant (P ＜0.05).Conclusion Combined detection of renal function biomarkers is helpful for early diagnosis of renal damage in HSP patients.Early intervention with heparin and diammonium glycyrrhizinate can prevent kidney damage,delay disease progress.Early diagnosis and early intervention should be emphasized for the treatment strategy of the renal damage of children with HSP.

Objective:To study the technical operation of self-developed investment (FUS-invest) for titanium crown and bridge. Methods:Orthogonal design was done. Four factors were taken into account, i.e. water/powder ratio, adhesive/hardener ratio, fine powder proportion in refractory and agitation time. And each factor was ranked into three levels. Slurry fluidity, initial setting time and setting time of every experiment group were studied. Grain size graduation of the best group was measured.Results:Fluidity, initial setting time and setting time were most greatly affected by water/powder ratio and secondly by fine powder proportion in refractory. When water/powder ratio was 7.5∶1 and the content of fine powder was 35%, slurry fluidity was better and initial setting time and setting time were appropriate. When the content of fine powder of AFS fineness number 300 was 31.31%, fineness number 100 was (40.09%), fineness number 70 was 18.05% and adhesive/hardness ratio was 200∶1, the perfect titanium castings could be fabricated. Conclution:The best rules of technical operation for perfect titanium castings are water/powder ratio (7.5)∶1, the content of fine powder 35% and adhesive/hardener ratio 200∶1.

Objective To investigate the hepatoprotective effects of total flavonoids in Scorzonera austriaca Wild (TFSA) in vivo and in vitro. Methods In vivo, ICR mice were randomly divided into negative, model, positive, TFSA’s low-dose, medium-dose and high-dose groups,and acute chemical liver injury models were constructed with CCl4 and acute autoimmune liver injury models with Bacillus Calmette-Guerin vaccine ( BCG ) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS).The activity of serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) was detected and liver tissue was used as biopsy.In vitro, liver cells of Wistar rat were extracted and isolated by orthotopic collagenase digestion method, and liver cell damage was induced with CCl4.Then the liver cells were cultured with TFSA solution and the contents of AST, ALT, LDH, nitric oxide (NO), superoxide dismutase (SOD) in the supernatant and malondialdehyde (MDA) in rat hepatocyte were detected.Results The results of CCl4-and BCG+LPS-induced acute chemical liver injury models in mice showed that there were less microstructures damage of liver tissue in TFSA groups compared with model group in liver pathological sections (HE), AST, ALT and LDH levels in model group were significantly higher than those in negative group (P<0.01), the above indexes in positive drug group were significantly lower than those in negative group (P<0.01,P<0.05), and the above indexes in TFSA’s low-dose, medium-dose and high-dose groups were significantly lower than those in model group(P<0.01,P<0.05).The results of CCl4-induced rat hepatocyte injury in vitro showed that AST, ALT, LDH, MDA and NO levels were significantly higher and SOD level was lower in model group than those in negative group (P<0.01), AST, ALT, LDH, MDA and NO levels were significantly lower and SOD level was higher in positive drug group than those in model group (P<0.01, P<0.05), and AST, ALT, LDH, MDA and NO levels were significantly lower and SOD level was higher in TFSA ’ s low-dose, medium-dose and high-dose groups were significantly lower than those in model group ( P <0.01, P <0.05 ) .Conclusion TFSA have hepatoprotective effects on CCl4-induced chemical liver injury and BCG+LPS-induced immune liver injury in mice, and rat hepatocyte damage.This study provides experimental data for the development and utilization of Scorzonera austriaca Wild resources and new hepatoprotective medicines.
