Objective To compare the effects of 2 vascular carriers, arteriovenous loop and arteri-ovenous bundle, on inducing angiogenesis in coral scaffold of vascularized tissue-engineered bone in animal models. Methods Thirty-six adult male New Zealand rabbits were randomized into 2 even groups. In group A, an arteriovenous loop (AVL) was formed by microsurgical anastomosis at the proximal ends between the femoral poptiteal artery and vein, and placed in the circular side groove of the coral block (6 mm × 8 mm × 10 mm) .In group B, flow-through vessels bundles of both femoral artery and vein were placed in the side grooves of the coral block. All the implants in 2 groups were wrapped by a micro-porous expand-ed-polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) membrane, and fixed subcutaneously by suturing.Evaluation methods included gross morphological observations, histological examinations, India ink perfusion and vascular casting after 2, 4, 6 weeks. The density of blood vessels was analyzed by the statistical software SPSS 10.0.Results All the corals were encased by newly formed fibrovascular tissues in 2 groups.Ink-stained vessels distributed the surfaces and side grooves, and invaded the interspaces of corals. The degree of vascularization increased over the course of experiment.Blood vessel density demonstrated a significant continuous increase between 2 and 6 weeks after implantation in group A.The mean value of blood vessel density in group A (2 weeks 276.60±4.67, 4 weeks 517.20±10.66, 6 weeks 707.00 ±11.87) was significantly higher than in group B (2 weeks 153.60 ±7.16, 4 weeks 269.40±6.80, 6 weeks 279.20±6.53) (P <0.01).Vascular casting showed that in group A, significant blood vessels sprouted from all areas of the loop, espe-cially at the entrance of the arteriovenous pediele where the small tubes were densely interconnected. In group B, however, no blood vessels sprouted from the arteriovenous bundles and only some small vessels grew from the entrance and exit. Conclusions A vascularized coral model can be constructed by inserting an ar-teriovenous loop or an arteriovenous bundle, useful in vascular bone tissue engineering. The former, however, have stronger abilities to induce angiogenesis than the latter.

Implant surface modified coating can improve its osteoinductivity, about which simple calcium phosphate coating has been extensively studied. But it has slow osteointegration speed and poor antibacterial property, while other metal ions added, such as nano zinc ion, can compensate for these deficiencies. This paper describes the incorporation form, the effect on physical and chemical properties of the material and the antibacterial property of nano zinc, and summarizes the material's biological property given by calcium ion, zinc ion and inorganic phosphate (Pi), mainly focusing on the influence of these three inorganic ions on osteoblast proliferation, differentiation, protein synthesis and matrix mineralization in order to present the positive function of zinc doped calcium phosphate in the field of bone formation.

Objective:
Explore the feasibility of POL intervention based on life skills in young students at high-risk of AIDS, and to provide reference for POL intervention.
Methods:
Nine potential POLs were recruited from young students at high risk of AIDS in Xi’an, and received life-skill-based interventions from May to October in 2017. A unified approach was adopted before the intervention. The effect of intervention was evaluated at 1 month and 3 months after the intervention.
Results:
The difference in POLs peer status and psychosocial ability scores was not significant after the intervention. The scores of persistence efficacy dimension of condom use efficacy before, 1-month and 3-month after the intervention were (10.56±1.88)(11.11±2.21)(12.89±2.09)(F=6.84, P<0.05) respectively. No significant changes were found in AIDS-related knowledge and behavior before and after the intervention. POL has increased from 108 students before intervention to 216 publicity coverage after three months intervention, however, the difference was not statistically significant. Feasibility analysis of the POL intervention showed that 8 of the POLs considered to be "very useful".
Conclusion
Life skill-based POL intervention for young students at high-risk of AIDS has a wide coverage and reasonable acceptance, as well as condom use adherence. The long-term effectiveness still needs to be verified.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2019;40(3):359-363
Objective:
To understand HIV knowledge and high-risk sexual behaviors among men who have sex with men (MSM) in the HIV-infected students’ social network, and to provide a scentific reference of making targeted and effective measures.
Methods:
A mixed recruitment method of snowball sampling and respondent driven sampling was used to recruit HIV-infected students with the help of local CDC in Harbin, Tianjin, Xi’an and Chongqing, with demographic information, sexual behaviors and HIV knowledge collected via questionnaire survey.
Results:
A total of 549 valid questionnaires were analyzed. Among them, the awareness rate of "Guo Ba Tiao" was 90.7% and the awareness rate of "Qing Ba Tiao" was 89.4%, the consistent condom use rate was 59.4%. Among those who were aware of HIV, 40.8% exhibit the mismatch between HIV knowledge and condom use behavior, which was significantly associated with number and types of sex partners. Those who had 1-3 regular male sex partners (1 partner: aOR=2.48, 95%CI=1.61-3.82; 2-3 partners: aOR=2.45,95%CI=1.44-4.15),or 1-3 causal male sex partners (1 partner: a-OR=1.74, 95%CI=1.10-2.77; 2-3 partners: aOR=2.15, 95%CI=1.34-3.46) were more likely for this mismatch. Those who had more than one commercial male sex partner(aOR=3.35, 95%CI=1.15-9.80), or more than one regular female sex partner (aOR=2.49, 95%CI=1.17-5.28), or more than one casual female sex partner(OR=2.80, 95%CI=1.01-7.71), the risk for this mismatch was also high.
Conclusion
The mismatch between HIV knowledge and condom use behavior among MSM students from the social network of young students living with HIV/AIDS is severe. It is necessary to carry out tailored HIV intervention to reduce the transmission of HIV among those people.

GUO Xueer, CUI Wenxin, ZHU Fan, LIU Sichen, LI Yuancheng, CHEN Tianqi, GAO Disi, MA Yinghua
Chinese Journal of School Health 2020;41(12):1791-1794
Objective:
To understand the characteristics of sexual partners and the influence of having multiple sexual partners on substance use among young male students man who have sex with men (MSM) in China, and to provide scientific basis for the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS among young MSM students.
Methods:
A mixed recruitment method of snowball sampling and respondent driven sampling was used to recruit young MSM students in Beijing and Tianjin, and a questionnaire survey was conducted among 220 participants from November to December 2019. Chi-square test and generalized linear model multi-factor Logistic regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of substance use before sexual behavior.
Results:
The average age of them was (22.39±2.57) years old, 84.5% of them were students, the average age of first sexual behavior was (18.83±2.45) years old, 44.1% of them had two or more sexual partners (including fixed sexual partners, temporary sexual partners and commercial sexual partners), 22.7% had more than one male fixed partner. After adjusting for age and education, having multiple sexual partners was risk factor for drinking alcohol before sex (aOR=2.97) or substance abuse (aOR=2.39). Having male temporary sexual partner was an risk factor in substance use before sexual behavior(OR=4.10).
Conclusion
The characteristics of sexual partners among young MSM students are complex, and the proportion of multiple sexual partners is high. Having fixed single sexual partner can reduce the risk of substance use before sexual behavior. AIDS prevention education for young MSM students should be further strengthened.

Journal of Medical Biomechanics 2024;39(4):637-643
Objective To investigate the biomechanical effects of the backside design of tibial trays on the bone-prosthesis fixation interfaces in unicompartmental knee arthroplasty(UKA).Methods Finite element models of medial knee arthroplasty were constructed using a fixed UKA prosthesis. The knee joint load and joint motion under walking motion were considered as boundary conditions, and the differences in tibial von Mises stress, contact stress, and micromotion of the bone-prosthesis fixation interface of the UKA tibial trays with big keel, small keel,two-peg with fin,three-oblique peg,and three-upright peg types were compared. Results At the maximum medical knee force moment, compared to the two-peg with fin type, the tibial von Mises stress, contact stress, and micromotion of the bone-prosthesis fixation interface decreased by 8%and 15.9%and increased by 9.9%for the big keel type;decreased by 12.3%and increased by 7.5%and 0.9%for the small keel type;decreased by 10%,10.5%,and increased by 1.2%for the three-oblique peg type;and decreased by 7.7%,14.7%,and 1.6%for the three-upright peg type, respectively. However, the maximum micromotion of the bone-prosthesis fixation interface occurred at 21%of the gait cycle.Compared to the two-peg with fin type, the micromotion of the bone-prosthesis fixation interface increased by 11.6%for the big keel type, increased by 1.6%for the small keel type, decreased by 0.4%for the three-oblique peg type, and decreased by 2.3%for the three-upright peg type. Conclusions To improve the long-term fixation effects of tibial prostheses,it is recommended to focus on a two-upright peg with fin or small keel designs when UKA tibial trays are designed, which can effectively balance the stress transfer and interface micromotion, thereby ensuring prosthesis stability and reducing the risk of aseptic loosening.
