Anatomy, materials science, engineering, bio-mechanics, electrical machinery, remote control and computer technology, etc, have generally reflected the development of modem artificial joint surgery, and computer technology plays a particular role. Computer-assisted surgery system can be manipulated to combine space three-dimensional navigation technology, computer image processing and visualization technology with clinical operations, and to calculate the signal transmission and reception of transmitter location points using computer, So as to work out all kinds of curves and angles, which transform the invisible and virtual human parameters directly into animated images, and at the same time enabling the location of surgical instruments to show real-time updates at intraoperative imaging. This will let the doctor know, at any time, the relationship between the location of surgical instruments and the anatomical structure of patients, thus avoiding the important anatomical structure to ensure a safe operation. It simulates surgical instruments' forward and backward as well. Storage surgery route and measuring the angle, length and diameter of implant will make the operation more convenient for doctors in an objective manner, so as to facilitate surgeries. The prosthesis's location, the angles of slope and rotation, master of power line, and the location of osteotomy all need a precise positioning in the process of artificial joint replacement. With the promotion of computer-guided surgery of joint surgery, artificial joint replacement, with the help of computer navigation surgery, can control error at a distance of 1 mm and angle of 1° so as to ensure the accuracy of the location of prosthesis, match it exactly and strictly, thereby reducing the chance of loosening, wear and osteolysis, extending the life of artificial joints, and providing a better joint function.

To explore the prevalence of hepatitis B virus (HBV) in multiple myeloma (MM) patients, as well as to compare the clinical characteristics and outcome between HBV infected and non-HBV infected patients. Methods:The serology markers of HBV were detected in 363 MM patients and 11227 cases of healthy controls through chemiluminescence. HBV-DNA was measured via real-time quantitative chain reaction. Results:Sixteen out of 363 MM patients (4.4%) were HBsAg-positive, showing significant difference with healthy controls (2.4%). No statistically significant differences were observed in terms of sex, age, type of monoclonal (M) protein, International Staging System (ISS) stage, stem cell transplantation, and risk stratification between HBsAg-positive and HBsAg-negative patients. No significant effect of HBV infection was found on the OS of MM patients. HBV reactivation was observed in two HBsAg-positive MM patients who were treated with combination chemotherapy, including bortezomib and dexamethasone. The replication of HBV could be inhibited by anti-HBV drugs. Conclusion:A higher prevalence of HBV infection was revealed in MM patients. Close monitoring of HBV replication should be conducted in MM patients with HBV infection before and during the courses of chemotherapy.

Objective To investigate the anti-inflammatory effect of C1q/ tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-related protein 9 (CTRP9) in RAW264.7 mouse macrophage cells treated with oxidized low density lipoprotein (oxLDL),and to explore its mechanism.Methods RAW264.7 mouse macrophage cells were divided into three groups:the control group,the oxLDL group (treated with oxLDl) and the gCTRP9-oxLDL group (pretreated with recombinant globular domain of CTRP9 and stimulated by oxLDL).Foam cells were detected by oil red O staining.Western blot was used to detect the expressions of pro-inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and monocyte chemoattractant protein 1 (MCP-1).In addition,the expression levels of NF-κB p65 in cytoplasm and nucleus proteins extraction were both determined.Results The relative levels of MCP-1 and NF-κB were increased in the oxLDL group as compared with the control group (1.66±0.09 vs.1.03±0.10,0.52±0.11 vs.1.03±0.06,both P＜0.05).The expression levels of TNF-α and MCP-1 were decreased in gCTRP9+oxLDL group as compared with the oxLDL group (both P＜0.05).The expression level of NF κB p65 in nucleus 2 and 8 h after treatment was lower in the gCTRP9+oxLDL group than in the oxLDL group (1.03±0.06 vs.0.17±0.10,0.31±0.03,both P＜0.05).Conclusions oxLDL may induce the expressions of inflammatory cytokines of TNF α and MCP-1 in macrophage ceils.gCTRP9 pretreatment could reduce the oxLDL-induced pro inflammatory effect and nuclear factor κB translocation may be involved in this process,which suggests that gCTRP9 may play a protective role in anti inflammatory and anti-atherosclerosis.

We wished to understand the genetic characteristics of enteric cytopathic human orphan (ECHO) virus type 6 (ECHO6) circulating in China. First, the partial VP1 coding region of six strains of the ECH-O6 virus isolated from cases of hand, foot and mouth diseases during routine surveillance in Hunan Province (China) from 2009 to 2014 were sequenced. Those sequences were analyzed along with 138 sequences of ECHO viruses covering five provinces of China and countries outside China retrieved from the GenBank database. A phylogenetic tree based on partial VPI was constructed, and it indicated that Chinese strains of the ECHO virus could form two distinct evolutionary branches: branch 1 and branch 2. All isolates of the ECHO virus from Hunan Province belonged to the 2c subranch, which revealed that they may share a common evolutionary origin. ECHO strains in branch 2 may be the predominant strains in China due to their wide geographic distribution and long period of circulation. We used nucleotide differences of >30%o as the basis of cluster division. ECHO, viruses could be divided into four clusters (A-D). Cluster D could be divided further into ten subclusters on the basis of nucleotide differences of 15%-30%. All ECHO6 isolates from Hunan Province belonged to the D7 subcluster. These data showed that the ECHO6 strains that circulated in Hunan Province in 2009-2014 were closely related to each other, and probably shared a common evolutionary origin. In addition, at least four distinct lineages of ECHO viruses have circulated in China.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the anti-apoptosis effects of Rubus alceaefolius total alkaloids in rats with hepatic injury.

METHODThe hepatic injury model of rat was induced by intraperitoneal injection with CCl4. Sixty SD rats were randomly divided into the normal group, the model group, the R. alceaefolius total alkaloids intervened group, and the bifendate intervened group. The expressions of the levels of liver cell apoptosis were determined by TUNEL. Ultrastructures of the liver cells were observed with transmission electron microscope.

RESULTCompared with the model group, the degree of hepatic injury and the positive expressions of apoptosis in liver tissues in the R. alceaefolius total alkaloids intervened groups and the bifendate intervened group were significantly lower.

CONCLUSIONR. alceaefolius total alkaloids could reduce the pathological changes and degree of hepatic injury in rats, which may be partially through inhibiting the expressions of apoptosis in liver tissue.

Objective:To investigate the effect of chemotherapy combined with sorafenib on the prognosis of FLT3 internal tandem duplication (FLT3-ITD)-positive acute myeloid leukemia and to find a more effective treatment.Methods:The clinical data of 60 patients who were newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and who received treatment in The Second Affiliated Hospital of Qiqihar Medical University from January 2015 to January 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into three groups according to whether they were positive for FLT3-ITD and the treatment method they used. The observation group (FLT3-ITD-positive, n = 19) were treated with sorafenib based on routine chemotherapy. The control group 1 (FLT3-ITD-positive, n = 21) was treated only with routine chemotherapy. The control group 2 (FLT3-ITD-negative, n = 20) was treated only with routine chemotherapy. After the first and fourth courses of treatment, clinical efficacy was compared among the three groups. Results:After the first course of treatment, the complete remission rate in control group 2 was 50.0% (10/20), which was significantly higher than 15.8% (3/19) in the observation group and 4.8% (1/21) in the control group 1 ( H = 13.39, P < 0.05). After the fourth course of treatment, the complete remission rate in the observation group, control group 2, and control group 1 was 63.2% (12/19), 60.0% (12/20), and 4.8% (1/21), respectively, and the differences were statistically significant ( H = 19.21, P < 0.05). Four-year follow-up results showed that the median survival time in the observation group, control group 1, and control group 2 was 36.63, 24.15, and 45.00 months respectively. The event-free survival in the observation group, control group 1, and control group 2 was 18.00, 9.82, and 24.90 months, respectively. The median survival time and the event-free survival in the control group 2 were significantly longer than those in the observation group and control group 1 ( χ2 = 19.93, 23.04, both P < 0.001). Conclusion:Chemotherapy combined with sorafenib for treating newly-diagnosed FLT3-ITD-positive acute myeloid leukemia can provide comprehensive benefits and have advantages for survival over chemotherapy without sorafenib and chemotherapy alone.

Objective:To observe the morphological and hemodynamics changes of aortic segments in mice with angiotensinogen Ⅱ(Ang II) combined with β-aminopropionitrile(BAPN) induced-aortic dissection by color Doppler ultrasound(CDUS).Methods:Twenty male mice of 6-8 weeks old C57BL/6 were randomly divided into two groups: the model group( n=10) was induced by intraperitoneal injection of Ang Ⅱ combined with BAPN to establish mice model with aortic dissection; the control group( n=10) was intraperitoneally injected with normal saline.The body weight, systolic and diastolic blood pressure of the mice were routinely recorded. On the 42th day, CDUS was used to measure the indexes of ascending aorta(AoA), descending thoracic aorta(DAo) and suprarenal aorta(SAo) in both groups, including the inner diameter of the cross section, peak systolic velocity(PSV), the end diastolic velocity(EDV), the resistance index(RI), the pulsatility index(PI), time average mean velocity(TAMV), the heart rate(HR) and the maximal shear rate(SR). Then, the aortas were harvested from the root to the bifurcation of the renal artery. The pathological changes of the aortic wall were observed using hematoxylin-eosin(HE) staining. Results:①There were statistically significant differences in body weight, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and heart rate between the model group and the control group(all P<0.05). Compared with the control group(0/10), the incidence of the AoA dissection(8/10) in the model group was obviously higher, the difference was statistically significant( P<0.05); while the incidence of the DAo dissection(4/10) and the SAo dissection(3/10) in the model group was slightly higher, the differences were not statistically significant (all P>0.05). ②Compared with the ascending aorta of the control group, the inner diameter, PSV, EDV, TAMV, PI and SR in the model group were significantly higher(all P<0.05), while RI showed no significant difference between the two groups ( P>0.05). For the descending thoracic aorta, PSV, EDV, TAMV, PI and SR in model group were higher than those of the control group(all P<0.05), however the inner diameter and RI were not significantly different between the two groups (all P>0.05). And for the superior renal aorta, PSV, TAMV, RI, PI and SR in the model group were obviously higher than the control group(all P<0.05), whereas the inner diameter and EDV were not significantly different between the two groups (all P>0.05). ③The HE of the tissue section in the model group showed, the aortas were obviously dilated, irregular, with inhomogeneously thickening wall; the endothelial cell nuclei were slightly stained, and some intima and middle layer ruptured and protruded outward to form dissecting aneurysms. The adventitias were markedly infiltrated with inflammatory cells. Conclusions:Ultrasonography could primarily evaluate the hemodynamic changes of aorta in hypertension with aortic dissection, and the PSV, TAMV, PI and SR of aorta may be important indicators for early predicting the occurrence of aortic dissection in hypertension.

Background: Using commutable external quality assessment (EQA) materials is important for monitoring successful harmonization efforts. We assessed the commutability of four human serum pool (HSP) preparations to identify candidate EQA materials for alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) activity measurement. Methods: One set each of 85 clinical samples (CSs) was collected for ALT and AST activity measurement. The 15 candidate EQA materials included four types of HSP preparations (A to D): materials A, C, and D contained human original recombinant (HOR) aminotransferases; materials B was mixed leftover samples. The CSs and 15 candidate EQA materials were analyzed using seven routine assays, and the ln-transformed results were analyzed in 21 assay pairs. Commutability was assessed using Deming regression, with a 95% prediction interval (CLSI approach) and the difference in bias with an error component model (International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine [IFCC] approach). Results: For ALT, all materials were commutable for 14–21 assay pairs according to the CLSI and IFCC approaches. For AST, B01-03 showed commutability for 14-21 assay pairs, and C01-03 and D01-03 showed commutability for no less than 10 assay pairs according to the two approaches. A01-06 were commutable for 9-16 assay pairs according to the CLSI approach, but for 6-9 assay pairs according to the IFCC approach. Conclusions Mixed leftover samples showed desirable commutability characteristics as candidate EQA materials for routine aminotransferase activity measurements. Human serum bases supplemented with HOR were commutable for most routine ALT activity measurements.
