1.The observation on the effect of Qiangshen Tongdu acupuncture combined with Baixiao moxibustion on lumbar disc herniation

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Qiangshen Tongdu acupuncture combined with Baixiao moxibustion on lumbar disc herniation.Methods:A total of 72 patients with lumbar disc herniation in the department were enrolled between January 2018 and March 2021. According to random number table method, they were divided into the observation group and control group, 36 in each group. The control group was treated with the routine treatment, while the observation group was treated with Qiangshen Tongdu acupuncture combined with Baixiao moxibustion. The changes in scores of TCM symptoms, pain remission, Japanese Orthopedic Association (JOA), Oswestry disability index (ODI) and quality of life before and after treatment in both groups were observed and recorded.Results:After treatment, scores of all TCM symptoms in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group ( t values were 7.29, 2.75, 6.70, 3.33, P<0.01 or P<0.05), score of visual analogue scale was significantly lower than that in the control group ( t values were 2.11, 6.26, P<0.05 or P<0.01), scores of JOA and quality of life were significantly higher than those in the control group ( t=4.39, P<0.01), and ODI score was significantly lower than that in the control group ( t values were 4.74, 4.59, 5.93, 5.42, 4.68, 4.04, 4.73, 5.68, P<0.01). Conclusion:The application of Qiangshen Tongdu acupuncture combined with Baixiao moxibustion can relieve pain, improve clinical symptoms, lumbar function and quality of life in patients with lumbar disc herniation.
2.99Tcm-MIBI Gated Myocardial Perfusion Imaging in Evaluating Coronary Microangiopathy in Patients with Diabetic Mellitus

Purpose To evaluate the clinical guiding value of 99Tcm-methoxyisobutylisonitrile gated myocardial perfusion imaging (99Tcm-MIBI G-MPI) in diagnosing the coronary microangiopathy in patients with diabetic mellitus.Materials and Methods Sixty patients with clinical confirmed coronary microvascular angina were selected and assigned into two groups,with 26 patients (with diabetes mellitus) in group A and 34 patients in group B (without diabetes mellitus).The region,extent and range of coronary microangiopathy was detected by 99Tcm-MIBI G-MPI,and the difference of myocardial ischemia between the two groups was statistically analyzed.Results The ratio of abnormal myocardial perfusion in group A was significantly higher than that in group B (96.15% vs.73.53%,x2=5.43,P<0.05);the total number of abnormal coronary branches in group A was significantly larger than that in group B (82.67% vs.62.67%,P<0.05);the total number abnormal perfusion segments in group A was significantly larger than that in group B (P<0.05),and the abnormal perfusion segments number of anterior wall,septum,apical region and inferior wall in group A was significantly larger than that ingroup B (P<0.05);the rate of abnormal perfusion at single coronary supplying region in group A was significantly lower than that in group B (P<0.05).Conclusion 99Tcm-MIBI G-MPI is of great clinical significance for diagnosing coronary microangiopathy and evaluating myocardial ischemia in patients with diabetes mellitus.
3.Wogonin attenuates vascular remodeling by inhibiting smooth muscle cell proliferation and migration in hypertensive rat

Wogonin, extracted from the roots of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, has been shown to suppress collagen deposition in spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs). This study was performed to investigate the role and mechanism of wogonin underlying vascular remodeling in SHRs. After injection of SHRs with 40 mg/kg of wogonin, blood pressure in rats was measured once a week. Masson's trichrome staining was conducted to observe the changes in aortas and mesenteric arteries.Vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) isolated from rat thoracic aortas were treated with Angiotensin II (Ang II; 100 nM) in the presence or absence of varying concentrations of wogonin. The viability and proliferation of VSMCs were examined using Cell Counting Kit-8 assay and 5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine assay, respectively. The migration of VSMCs was examined using wound healing assay and transwell assay. We found that wogonin administration alleviated hypertension, increased lumen diameter, and reduced the thickness of the arterial media in SHRs. Ang II treatment enhanced the viability of VSMCs, which was inhibited by wogonin in a concentration-dependent manner. Wogonin reversed Ang II-induced increases in the viability, proliferation, and migration of VSMCs. Moreover, wogonin inhibited Ang II-induced activation of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling in VSMCs. Overall, wogonin repressed the proliferative and migratory capacity of VSMCs by regulating the MAPK signaling pathway, thereby attenuating vascular remodeling in hypertensive rats, indicating that wogonin might be a therapeutic agent for the treatment of vascular diseases.
4.Evaluation of problem-based learning in breast cancer medical imaging education based on multi-disciplinary treatment

Objective To evaluate the effects of problem-based learning (PBL) teaching model in breast cancer medical imaging education based on multidisciplinary treatment (MDT). Methods The PBL teaching practice of breast cancer imaging based on MDT was carried out in the 192 clinical medicine students in Grade 2014 of Guangzhou Medical University. The students were randomly divided into four groups (group A, B, C and D) and each group was further divided into 1 to 5 teams, with 9 to 11 students in each team. The MDT teaching team consisted of clinical physicians in medical imaging, radiation oncology, surgery (specialized in breast tumor), and other disciplines. The formative assessment method was used to evaluate the teaching effects and the problems involved wereanalyzed. Results Firstly, with a full score of 100 points, the quantitative evaluation of each teaching team on the performance of students in PBL were (86.6±7.8), (87.1±8.1), (83.9±6.5), (88.1±4.5), and (85.1±8.2), respectively. No significant difference was found among each tutor team’s quantitative evaluation (F=1.014, P=0.388). Secondly, the whole posi-tive evaluation rate of students for tutors was 96.28%, with the highest and lowest positive rates as 98.36% and 94.08%, respectively. Significant difference was found among parts of the tutors ( χ2=10.554, P=0.032), specifically between team 1 and 5 (Z=2.245,P=0.025), 3 and 4 (Z=2.217,P=0.027) and 3 and 5 (Z=2.761,P=0.006) respectively. Lastly, the positive and negative evaluation rates of student's self-assessment were 87.33% and 12.67% respectively. Conclusion The effects of PBL based on MDT in breast cancer imaging teaching practice is encouraging, and the formative assessment method can objectively and effectively evalu-ate the effects of this kind of teaching model. However, the standards of evaluation still need to be further perfected and improved.
5.The value of MRI texture analysis based on gray level co-occurrence matrix to predict cervical lymph node metastasis in tongue carcinoma patients

Objective To evaluate the value of MRI texture analysis based on gray level co-occurrence matrix to predict cervical lymph node metastasis in patients with tongue carcinoma. Methods A total of 70 patients with tongue carcinoma confirmed by pathology were analyzed retrospectively. The patients were divided into cervical lymph node (LN) metastasis group (unilateral LN+, n=18;bilateral LN+,n=22) and no cervical lymph node metastasis(LN-,n=30). T1W, T2W and contrast-enhanced T1W images of the largest section of tumor were selected. ROI of the lesion was manually drew and GLCM texture parameters (energy, contrast, correlation, inverse difference and entropy) were extracted. The tumor length, thickness and para-lingual distance between tumor and tongue midline were also measured.Differences of all parameters were compared between LN+ group and LN- group, unilateral and bilateral cervical lymph node metastasis group, the parameters with statistically significant difference in predicting the efficiency of cervical lymph node metastasis were analyzed. The diagnostic efficiency of lymph node metastasis was calculated. Results The correlation, inverse difference and entropy based on T2WI showed significant difference (Zcor elation=2.97, tinverse dif erence=5.14, tentropy=2.41; P<0.05), entropy showed the best diagnostic efficiency, the area under the ROC curve (AUC) was 0.90, the cut off value was 7.19, the sensitivity was 80.0%, specificity was 86.7%. Only entropy showed significant difference between unilateral LN+group and bilateral LN+group (P<0.05), the AUC was 0.82, the cut off value was 7.47, the sensitivity was 90.9%, specificity was 78.8%. The index of tumor length, thickness and para-lingual distance between tumor and tongue midline all showed significant difference between LN+group and LN-group (P<0.05), the thickness showed the best diagnostic efficiency, the AUC value was 0.81, the cut off value was 11.19, the sensitivity was 78.0%, specificity was 81.7%. The index of tumor length, thickness and para-lingual distance between tumor and tongue midline showed no significant difference between unilateral LN+ group and bilateral LN+ group (P>0.05). The diagnostic sensitivity of radiologists was 65.0% (26/40), the specificity was 80.0% (24/32) on cervical lymph node metastasis. Conclusion Texture analysis based on T2WI can predict cervical lymph node metastasis in patients with tongue carcinoma. Entropy has certain value in predicting bilateral cervical lymph node metastasis.

An early warning system of sudden cardiac death based on the Internet electrocardiograph and intelligent platform is designed to detect the signal of sudden cardiac death in time and save lives.The system is mainly composed of four parts:Internet electrocardiograph,mobile terminal,intelligent platform and 120 emergency center.It has been verified that the sudden cardiac death early warning system is reliable,suitable for remote electrocardiogram monitoring,and can provide diagnosis and early warning for people at risk of sudden cardiac death.The system realizes the miniaturization of ECG monitoring equipment,and has the advantages of intelligent diagnosis and rapid warning,and can be applied to the pre-hospital monitoring of high-risk groups of sudden cardiac death and has a good application value.
7.Effect of adjuvant therapy of Shenfu Injection on NOD-like receptor protein 3/cysteine-aspartic acid-specific protease 1 mediated pyroptosis signaling pathway and inflammatory factor levels in rats with acute myocardial infarction

Objective To investigate the effect of adjuvant therapy of Shenfu Injection on NOD-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)/cysteine-aspartic acid-specific protease 1(Caspase-1)mediated py-roptosis signaling pathway and inflammatory factor levels in rats with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).Methods A total of 40 rats were randomly divided into sham operation group,model group,betaloc group(0.9 mg/kg),and combination group(0.9 mg/kg betaloc combined with 6 mL/kg Shenfu Injection),with 10 rats in each group.The rats were treated by gavage continuously for 3 weeks.The levels of serum troponin Ⅰ(cTnⅠ),creatine kinase-MB(CK-MB),interleukin(IL)-6,IL-1β,and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in rats were detected before modeling,after modeling,and at 3 weeks of treatment.Echocardiographic parameters such as left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),and myocardial infarction area were compared among groups after modeling and at 3 weeks of treatment.Real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)and Western blot were used to detect the mRNA and protein expression levels of NLRP3 and Caspase-1 in the myocardium.Results Compared with the sham operation group,the levels of cTnⅠ,CK-MB,IL-6,IL-1 β,TNF-α,myocardial infarction area,and the expressions of NLRP3 mRNA and Caspase-1 mRNA in the model group were significantly increased after modeling and at 3 weeks of treatment(P<0.05);compared with the model group,the levels of cTnⅠ,CK-MB,IL-6,IL-1β,TNF-α,myocardial infarction area,and the expressions of NLRP3 mRNA and Caspase-1 mRNA in the betaloc group and the combination group were significantly decreased at 3 weeks of treatment,and the above indicators in the combination group were significantly lower than those in the betaloc group(P<0.05).Conclusion Adjuvant therapy of Shenfu Injection for AMI can fur-ther alleviate myocardial cell injury,shorten infarction size,and inhibit inflammatory response and pyroptosis activity.

9.Effects of acteoside on hypoxia/reoxygenation-induced cardiomyocyte damage by regulating the Rnd 3/NF-κB pathway

OBJECTIVE To explore the effects of acteoside on hypoxia/reoxygena tion(H/R)-induced cardiomyocyte damage by regulating Rho family GTPase 3(Rnd3)/nuclear factor κB(NF-κB)pathway. METHODS The H 9c2 cardiomyocyte were divided into control group (no administration ,no modeling ),H/R group (only modeling ),H/R+AS-L group ,H/R+AS-M group , H/R+AS-H group (10,30,90 μmol/L acteoside for above 3 groups firstly ,and then modeling ),H/R+pcDNA group [transfecting pcDNA (empty vector ) firstly,and then modeling] ,H/R + pcDNA-Rnd 3 group [overexpression of Rnd 3 by transfecting pcDNA-Rnd3(Rnd3 overexpression vector )firstly,and then modeling] ,H/R+AS-H+si-NC group [transfecting si-NC (negative control)firstly,and then giving 90 μmol/L acteoside and modeling],H/R+AS-H+si-Rnd3 group [inhibiting overexpression of Rnd 3 by transfecting si-Rnd 3 (Rnd3 small interfering RNA ) firstly,and then giving 90 μ mol/L acteoside and modeling]. After corresponding treatment ,the apoptotic rate ,release of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH),malondialdehyde(MDA)level,the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD),the level of tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α),interleukin 1β(IL-1β)and interleukin- 6(IL-6), mRNA and protein expression of Rnd 3 and NF-κB subunit p65(NF-κB p65),the expression of aspartate proteolytic enzyme 3 (Cleaved Caspase- 3)protein and Cleaved Caspase- 9 protein were detected. RESULTS Different concentrations of acteoside could reduce the apoptotic rate of H/R-induced H 9c2 cardiomyocyte,the protein expressions of Cleaved Caspase- 3 and Cleaved Caspase-9,mRNA and protein expressions of NF-κB p65,the levels of LDH release and MDA ,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6,while increase the activity of SOD and mRNA and protein expressions of Rnd 3(P<0.05),in a dose-dependent manner. Overexpression of Rnd 3 could decrease the apoptotic rate of H 9c2 cardiomyocyte,protein expressions of NF-κB p65,Cleaved Caspase- 3 and Cleaved Caspase- 9, the levels of LDH release , MDA, TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6,while increase the protein expression of Rnd 3 and the activity of SOD (P<0.05). The inhibition overexpression of Rnd 3 could weaken the inhibitory effects of acteoside on H/R-induced apoptosis of H 9c2 cardiomyocyte, oxidative stress and inflammatory reaction (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS Acteoside could regulate Rnd 3/NF-κ B pathway by promoting the expression of Rnd 3 and inhibiting the expression of NF-κB p65,inhibit cardiomyocyte apoptosis ,oxidative stress and inflammation reaction so as to relieve the H/R-induced cardiomyocyte damage.
