Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2000;0(06):-
11?-hydroxylase deficiency is one of the main causes of congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH),which is caused by the mutation of CYP11B1 gene that encodes the enzyme.Researches have shown that mutations of CYP11B1 gene would result in decreased activity or inactivation of the enzyme in classical 11?- hydroxylase deficiency, and their relationship between genotype and phenotype of 11?-hydroxylase deficiency is not clear.

Objective To investigate the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on the prognosis of patients with cervical cancer. Methods A systematic review of the literature about neoadjuvant chemotherapy and radical surgery was performed with searching Pubmed,Cochrane library,Medline, and Embase database from January 1990 to January 2015.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the data were extracted and analyzed by Revman 5.3 system software Meta. Results Ten controlled clinical studies were concluded, including 1 543 patients (667 in preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy group and 876 in radical surgery). The extracted data were comparable.Meta-analysis results displayed that significant difference existed in five-year disease-free survival,node-positive rate, vascular invasion rate, and parametrial infiltration rate.It seemed that the preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy was prior to the radical surgery in those items. There was no significant difference between the preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy and radical surgery in five year survival, intraoperative complication, the positive surgical margin rate, and five-year survival rates among different chemotherapy peers (P > 0.05).Conclusions For locally advanced cervical cancer patients, neoadjuvant chemotherapy can reduce the incidence of high-risk pathology, but had no significant effect on the long-term survival of patients.

Chinese Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging 2015;(6):509-512
The treatment effect of primary and metastatic hepatic carcinoma after local intervention?al therapy is closely related to the prognosis of patients. Traditional imaging modalities such as CT, MRI and ultrasound can only provide anatomical information in monitoring treatment response. In recent years, PET/CT has been widely used in monitoring treatment response for tumors. Many studies have compared the effi?cacy of PET/CT with that of traditional imaging modalities in monitoring the response of primary and meta?static hepatic carcinoma after interventional therapy. This review summarizes recent progress in this field.

ObjectiveTo study the anti-proliferative effect and the mechanism of arotinoid Ro40-8757 on human pancreatic carcinoma cell line JF-305.MethodsMTT assay was used to evaluate the growth inhibition effect of Ro40-8757 on human pancreatic carcinoma cell line JF-305. The expression of p27 protein was measured by Western blotting, and flow cytometry for cell cycle analysis.ResultsRo40-8757 significantly inhibited the growth of JF-305 cells with a dose-, time-dependent manner. After 72 hours treatment with 10 -5mol/L Ro40-8757, the proportion of cells in G 1 phase increased from 56% to 76% while the cells in S phase decreased from 25% to 7%. Western blot analysis showed that the expression of p27 protein in cells treated with Ro40-8757 increased markedly. Conclusion Ro40-8757 inhibits the growth of pancreatic carcinoma cell line JF-305 possibly by up-regulating p27 protein expression and arresting cell cycle.

Objective To establish RT-PCR-RFLP method for studying the genotype of wild mea-sles virus strains isolated from Tianjin area from 2002 to 2008. Methods Isolations of measles virus were carried out by tissue culture method from urine and throat swab specimens collected from suspected cases. RNA were extracted from the virus specimens. The 594 bp fragment of C terminal of the N (nucleoprotein) gene was amplified by one-step RT-PCR, then the PCR products were digested with Bcn I , separated on agarose gel electrophoresis and then analyzed by the method of RFLP (restriction fragment length polymor-phism). In addition, above results were compared with DNA sequencing. Phylogenetic tree was plotted based on the results for the genetic relationship and distance analysis. Results Sixty-nine measles virus strains were isolated from 189 specimens from 2002 to 2008, of which the C terminals of N gene were all de-tected positive. Among the 69 strains of measles virus isolates, 98.55% (68/69) belonged to Hla sub-geno-type which was the predominant sub-genotype, and only one strain (1.45%) belonged to H1b sub-genotype by RFLP analysis which was in accordance with the results by DNA sequencing method. Phylogenetic tree analysis indicated the H1a sub-genotype measles virus strains should be further divided into 2 clades, and the variation fluctuated between 0.2% and 3.8%. There were transmission chains caused by different virus strains co-cireulation. Conclusion A genotype, H1a and H1b sub-genotype can be identified by RT-PCR-RFLP assay specically based on the restriction enzyme Bcn I .The RT-PCR-RFLP assay can be a rapid, simple, accurate and efficient method for large-scale surveillance of measles virus strains in China.
